How to use Lonsdor K518 Pro to copy access card

This post will introduce you to how to copy an access card using Lonsdor K518 Pro.

Firstly, we can choose [Access Card], it also can be chosen from [Special Functions].
Then select [Copy Access Card]>>[IC/ID Card].

Put the access control card in the card slot and click OK.
Please wait...
Now we have identified the information of the access card, click "OK" to continue.

Decoding...
You can take away the key now.
Decryption is successful.

Then we choose [Copy] and put the new chip into the card slot.
Please wait...
Copy scucceed!

How to install ACDP Module 33 MQB lock fastening (MQB-77) interface board

This post will guide you on how to install the MQB lock fastening (MQB-77) interface board from Yanhua ACDP Module 33.

Here comes the procedure:
1. Push the lock fastening of the interface board to the unlock position.
Find the interface board installation area on the instrument according to the visual positioning mark on the interface board.

2. Place the interface board against the instrument buzzer and align the pins with the D1 and D4 positioning holes.

3. Check that the D1 and D4 positioning pins are completely aligned with the D1 and D4 positioning holes of the instrument and ensure that the PCB lock buckle is completely aligned.

4. Place your finger on the fingerprint position of the interface board
Press down on the interface board.
Push the PCB lock buckle to the Locked position to lock the interface board.
The installation is done.

5. Confirm again that the interface board D1, D2, D3, and D4 positioning pins are completely aligned with the D1, D2, D3, and D4 positioning holes of the instrument.

This function needs to connect the device to 12v power and make sure the device is well connected with the OBD cable.
Note: just connect the OBD cable to the device, no need to connect it to the vehicle OBD port.
Connect OBD cable to Lonsdor K518 device.
Damage detected on pin 1!
It shows pin 1 is damaged.

Let's choose another OBD cable.
OBD hardware self-check >> OK
OBD self-check completed and the hardware function is normal.

How to adjust network settings on Autel KM100

If you encounter network errors like "Network unavailable. Error code: 1008", changing these settings should fix the problem, this post will guide you on how to adjust network settings on the Autel KM100 Key Tool.

Here is the procedure:

1. Choose [Settings]>>[System Settings]>>[More]>>[Network & Internet], then click [Wi-Fi], tap the Wi-Fi you are connected to and we can see a little pen up here in the top right corner.

2. Click this pen, then click [Advanced Options], scroll down, and go to change IP settings: from "DHCP" to "Static". Then we scroll down and make sure [DNS 1] is "8.8.8.8", if not, just delete what's in there and make sure it says "8.8.8.8", then let's click "Save".

3. Reboot the KM100
It is very important to reboot your device after making such network changes.
Click and hold the Power button, then click "Reboot" to restart the key tool.

How to modify the network settings in Autel IM608/IM508

This post is about how to adjust the network settings in the Autel IM608/IM508 tablets.
If you are facing errors like Unable to get server address Error: 1008, Unstable network, Network busy, Unable to access updates, etc. Changing these settings should resolve the issue.

So here's the procedure:

Go to the Home button at the bottom left of the screen and select [System Settings].
So you see we are connected to Wi-Fi, we will click and hold the Wi-Fi we are connected to, in the top menu click and hold, and choose [Modify Network].

We'll simply press the down arrow to hide the keyboard and choose [Show advanced options].
Now look where it says [IP Settings]: DHCP, so we change it to [Static].

Scroll down and the only thing we need to change is [DNS 1], we'll delete what's in there and it should default to this 8.8.8.8.

Once again we will hide the keyboard and click [Save].

After saving these settings, we will reboot the tablet.
Then press and hold the power bar at the top, then choose [Reboot].

The above is the entire process of adjusting the network settings in the Autel IM608/IM508 tablets. Once the setting is complete, remember to reboot, and let the network settings and the changes that we've made take effect.
