How to use Godiag GT101 PIRT Power Probe?

This is a guide to demonstrate how to use Godiag GT101 PIRT Power Probe main functions. Including positive & negative electricity detection, component activation test, relay test & fuel injector cleaning.

How Godiag GT101 detect positive & negative electricity?
1.When detecting the positive pole of battery: GT101 flashes red light quickly and its buzzer emits a high-frequency beeping sound.

2.When detecting the negative electrode of battery: the middle indicator of GT101 screen lights green and flashes slowly, its buzzer emits a low-frequency beeping sound.

3.If GT101 Power Probe does not respond, indicating that no electricity was detected. Maybe that line is broken. We can further probe to locate the breakpoint and then go to repair.

How to do component activation test with GT101 PIRT?
Taking a light bulb as demonstration.
1.Clip GT101 black ground wire to the bulb, which will input 12V to the light bulb.
2.Once the bulb lights up normally that means it works fine.

Taking a motor as demonstration.
1.Clip GT101 black ground wire to the motor, which will input 12V power to the motor.
2.If the motor runs normally, which indicates it works OK. There’s no problem with the motor.

How to do relay test with GT101 circuit analyzer?
The relay must be removed from the car, because the connection adapter is one-to-one with the relay interface.
1.Connect relay with adapter.
2.After connection, press the GT101 yellow button.
3.If the relay indicator lights are all on, and hearing a sound of pulling in, which indicates the detected relay is normal. Otherwise, if the leftmost indicator light on GT101 device is always flashing green, which indicates the detected relay is broken.

How to clean fuel injector with Godiag GT101?
1.First connect adapter to the fuel injector. The fuel injector generally has 2 specifications of interfaces, users can plug in according to needs.
2.Insert fuel injection nozzle cleaning connector into the cleaning agent’s pressure tank. Press GT101 yellow button to start cleaning(When cleaning, try to hold the fuel injection nozzle tightly to avoid being sprayed in process).
3.After cleaning, release the fuel injection nozzle to clean the connector. Press GT101 yellow button to close the cleaning.

Solution: KTAG V7.020 “Internet connection not detected” Grey Icons

Problem: KTAG V7.020 software was failed to identify the device after installation. It prompted “Connexion a internet non detectee: verifiez que vous disposez d'une connexion internet et essayez a nouveau(Internet connection not detected: check that you have an internet connection and try again).” Meanwhile, all icons turned grey.

What’s the problem? Please help me.

Solution
The reason why caused the issue is that the KTAG driver was not installed properly.
1. Check if the KTAG driver was forbidden or deleted by the antivirus program.
2. Reinstall KTAG driver.
3. Wait until the KTAG device is identified, then can open the software.

How to use Autel KM100 ID46 Password Calculation?

Place the key component and transponder head close to START button, then turn the engine on. Press “Next step”.

1.Read Password
Plug the Mini OBD into vehicle.
Go to pair with KM100 via Bluetooth: Settings >> VCI manager
Wait until VCI connection is OK.

IMMO >> Suzuki >> System selection >> automatic location >> BCM(8 digit) >> Immobilizer remote control learning

Switch Hazard ON.
Switch ignition ON if all keys lost(if cannot switch ON, try the immobilizer box wire short-circuit).
Press “ID code reading”.
Passwords were read out.

2.Key Learning
Key learning >> OK
After the function is carried out, all keys will be cleared. These keys cannot be used unless they are learned again. If this function is required, please get all keys ready.

Press “Yes” to get PIN code online. Press “No” to manually input.
Actually KM100 will automatically show the PIN code if reading was done before.
OK >> OK

Follow the guidance step according to the key type:
Mechanical key: switch on ignition with keys that need to match;
Smart key: place the smart key which need to match on the push START button(key logo facing push START button);
Knob type smart key: slot the mechanical key on the ignition cylinder and place the smart card on the knob switch.
Press “OK”.

1 key has completed learning.
Add one more, successfully.
Learning completed.

Disconnect VCI and turn off ignition to have a try.
Both keys are workable.
Done.

Don’t Know Which Yanhua Digimaster 3 Adapter to Use?

Question: One customer complained that he doesn’t know how to use Yanhua Digimaster 3 Mileage Correction Tool with various adapters:
”Digimaster 3 is faulty, it is not communicating with adapters at all!
BMW 1 series E87 35080 no adapter present

Solved: SVCI 2020 “Spawn app failed: 5” Installation Error

Problem: I was not able to run SVCI 2020 software after installation. There seems to be something wrong in driver. It’s said “Spawn app failed: 5”.
“Firmware or database file open failed.”
“Connection error: interface not connected. If you have already connected the interface, please try to reconnect it and restart the application.”

What’s the problem, give me an idea?

Solution
The reason why caused the issue is because SVCI Software files were deleted by firewall or antivirus program during installation. Reinstall or change a PC to install can solve the problem. Remember to stop firewall & antivirus software before SVCI installation to avoid it.

Autel MaxiTPMS ITS600E Registration and Updates

This post will look at how to register and update the Autel MaxiTPMS ITS600E tool.

First, turn on this its600e, then hit "Next".

Select the network to connect.

Select "Time zone" and fill in "Workshop information" (you may also choose to skip this for now, and you can always enter in your shop information if you like)

Then it's going to do an update on its own since we are connected to the network.
Once you get to this screen, if you already have an Autel ID, go ahead and enter your information in, if you don't have an Autel ID yet, select "Create an Autel ID", and follow the steps to create your account first.

After the Autel ID is successfully created, fill in the information to log in.

And it says sign in successfully, but the tool is not registered, so just hit ok to register.

It's going to pull up the serial number of the tool and the register password automatically, and you just hit "Register".

After successful registration, you can see this interface, click "Update" to perform an update.

Then we can hit "download" to update the software.

When the download is complete, the software will be installed automatically.
The previous version will be replaced.

Solution: KTAG V2.25 Read Mercedes ME9.7 ECU Communication Error

Problem: I was using V2.25 Red PCB KTAG 7.020 to read Mercedes ME9.7 ECU for programming. But it failed and gave a warning: “Communication error with the ECU: control all connections; if the problem persists, send the LOG file to the assistance.”

What’s going on? Can you help me?

Solution
The reason why caused ECU communication error is because of using wrong connection interface. This interface is where to connect with ME9.7 ECM engine computer for writing data.

Original BOSCH ME9.7 ECU should be read by wiring. The wiring diagram can be found in KTAG(please click into blue link).

Updates
Now can you tell your technician to give me diagram to read with ribbon cable, please?

Engineer replied
We can offer the special wiring diagram for customers, but should replace new “help” files into KTAG.

How to Solve Autel Tools Insufficient Space Memory Issue?

Error
I’m getting an error message whenever I try and do an update on AUTEL MaxiIM IM608. It’s said “Insufficient space of internal memory. Please clean up space or insert a 16G-128G SD card. BMW Volkswagen, Hyundai, and Peugeot software can be downloaded to the SD card.”
“If the SD card is inserted but the system cannot recognize it, please check if: 1. SD card is damaged; 2. SD card file system is FAT32 format.”

For some other Autel scanners like MaxiSys MS906BT or Elite II may prompt “Insufficient space on SD card. Please clear the SD card space.”

Before that, we may try the following 2 steps to keep Autel tablets storage healthy during daily work.
Step1. Check Storage
Home >> System Settings >> Storage
Here we can check our storage status anytime. As you can see, the storage space is running out now.

Step2. Delete Temporary Folders
This will delete vehicles including fragmented files, temporary pictures, videos from Internet.
Path: Home >> Maxi Tools >> GC >> Garbage Clear

Solution
This solution can be applied to most Original Autel Diagnostic Tools. It’s going to completely wipe out and delete everything off including any photos, customer information, history records. So make sure you have done the backup & restore on those specific files.

There are 4 methods can solve this issue.

Method 1. Clean up the music or pictures.
Method 2. Insert one new SD card.
Method 3. Delete the app client that do not use.
1.Data manager >> App Uninstall >> Selected unused vehicles to delete

2.Home >> ES File Explorer >> Scan >> Vehicle >> selected unused folders to delete.
(Note: If you’re out of update contract, this will delete forever and can’t be recovered.)

Method 4. Reset to Factory Spec.
Home >> System Settings >> Reset >> Factory data reset >> selected Erase SD card >> Reset tablet >> Erase everything
Note: Make sure you’re under update contract before operations. Otherwise, the info will be deleted forever and can’t be recovered.

Once coming a message “Internet connection is required for identification for the first use of the software”, which means we have completely deleted everything out of the tool.

There are 27.7G available in storage now.
For vehicles are grayed out in library, you have to do the system updates at first.

2.Install Scanmatik Setup Wizard

3.Install Guardant Drivers
Run “GrdDriver.exe” program, click “Install”.
The driver will finish the installation automatically.

How to Register PCMtuner Account?
1.Open PCM Tuner, click “Yes” to start registration.
2.Fill in details including name, company, email, phone & country, click “Submit”.
3.After registration, remember to send your email to salesman for activation.
User Name: register email
Password: series number
