PAUL MCCARTNEY, INCARNATION OF GEORGE IV
In the long string of present incarnations of English and British monarchs, only several are professional musicians. One of them is Paul McCartney. In this life he is only a member of the gentry, but in his 19th century incarnation he was no less than George IV, The King of Great Britain and Ireland and Hanover. He accessed to the British throne in 1820, following the death of his father, King George III [present incarnation Stephen Fry].
George IV led an extravagant lifestyle, had one wife and several mistresses, throughout his life, or rulership. He was charming, educated and stylish personality. But, he didn't get along with his father, nor with his wife, Caroline of Brunswick [incarnation Linda Eastman]. His unbridled way of life earned him bad opinion of the common people.
It is ironic that in this life the woman whom he obviously despised in that incarnation (he forbade her to even attend the coronation) became his probably most beloved spouse, with whom he spent almost 30 years in marriage. Linda Eastman was in her past incarnation king's cousin, and the only official wife. (All others were mistresses.) They married in 1795, and already in the next year – they separated.
So, then came the mistresses. First of all, Maria Fitzherbert, became his mistress when he was still a prince. Her incarnation, Dot Rhone, became his first serious girlfriend, when he was still unknown musician in group called the Quarrymen. It is interesting, that she, Maria Fitzherbert, remained attached to George IV for the rest of his life, although they had their periods of temporary separation. His second mistress, Mary Robinson, was an actress, and she became actress in this life, too [incarnation Jane Asher], and Paul's second serious girlfriend, with whom she had plans for marriage. Mary Robinson was bought off with a generous pension, when she threatened to sell his letters to the newspapers.
In his later life his mistress became Marchiones of Hertford [incarnation Heather Mills], and she was a wife of an aristocrat. In this incarnation she became his marital partner later in life. As well as his last wife Nancy Shevell, who is incarnation of Grace Elliott, in 19th century divorced wife of a physician.
