WILHELM GUSTLOFF - DAJANA DIVERNO

A few brief moments lasted until Johan knocked on the door again. Nothing was heard, only silence.
- Maybe Captain Fred isn't in the office! - assumed the guard, who had been standing for a few moments next to the anxious Johan Peters, who was knocking helplessly on the door. - If I can conclude, even if he was drunk, he would surely wake up by now!
Johan watched him for a few moments. He knocked again. Silence.
- I have to call the mainland. Tell me where is the nearest phone?
- You have it in the other cabin where the rudder is - this one explained to him, and Johan then moved forward. All the worst that could happen to a ship with its lights on was running through his mind. Time was running out. He wondered if it was already late?
When he got to the cabin he just quickly grabbed the phone with his hands. The guard watched him calmly.
-Hello! - heard on the other side of the wire.
- General, please! - he started in an angry tone. - Emergency call with Wilhelm Gustloff.

Uma lay for a few moments. Her eyes were fixed on the ceiling, and a void flowed through her thoughts that she did not know how to define. She got up. She noticed him sitting and calmly lighting a cigarette. He tied one sheet around him body so she could see his torso and hairy breasts.
She didn't know how to feel. In fact, she wondered how all the women felt in that situation?
