Kylie to join Sydney Mardi Gras Parade!
Danas je potvrđeno da će Kylie nastupiti na Mardi Gras paradi u Sydneyu! Mardi Gras parada je jedna od najvećih parada podrške LGTB zajednice. Kylie je već dva puta nastupila na ovoj paradi, zadnji put prije 14 godina.
Kylie has confirmed that she will be heading home to join with Sydney’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex community at the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade.
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will honour Minogue during the Parade with a spectacular K25 float that pays homage to the artist’s outstanding contribution to the music industry and support of the LGBTQI community. SGLMG’s CEO Michael Rolik says Minogue’s RSVP to Sydney Mardi Gras 14 years after her last performance at the Mardi Gras party in 1998 will go down as a great moment in the organisation’s history.
NSW Minister for Tourism, Major Events and The Arts, George Souris said “The presence of Kylie Minogue is sure to make this the biggest and best Sydney Mardi Gras ever,” he said.
And Kylie is pretty excited herself saying ‘“I simply cannot wait, and it’s going to be a beautiful way to celebrate 25 years of this relationship,”
Nakon duže stanke, Kylie blog ponovno kreće s radom i to povodom obilježavanja 25 godina od početka Kyliene glazbene karijere.
Naime, davne 1987.godine, u Australiji, Kylie je izdala svoj prvi singl, "Locomotion".
Kako bi započeli s obilježavanjem ove godišnjice Kylie je objavila na svojoj stranici posebno snimljenu akustičnu verziju singla "Finer Feelings" (orginalno izdanu 1992.god.).
To je prvo u nizu izdanja snimljnih u poznatom Abbey Road studiju u Londonu. Sljedeće pjesme biti će uploadane tijekom godine tako da će na sami dan biti poznato o kojim pjesmama se radi.
Kylie je prošle godine, nakon "Aphrodite: Les Folies" svjetske turneje ponovno ušla u studio kako bi snimila akustične i orkestralne obrade njezinih hitova. U studiju je surađivala sa dugogodišnjim suradnicima i poznatim producentima (Steve Anderson i Colin Elliot), Aphrodite bendom, četiri pomoćna vokala i orkestrom od 24 člana koje je vodio Cliff Masterson.
Kylie i njezin tim spremili su još iznenađenja za ovu godinu koja će biti kasnije otkrivena.

Can you believe it has been a quarter of a century since Locomotion was released in 1987?
Twenty five years later Kylie Minogue is still at the top of her game and she is ready to celebrate!
Kylie has chosen to mark this incredible milestone with a year of surprises and gifts for her fans.
To kick-start the celebrations, Kylie will be releasing a specially recorded acoustic version of ‘Finer Feelings’ (a Stock and Waterman hit from 1992) available to view from Kylie.com. The release is the first in a series of especially commissioned new recordings of classic Kylie songs, recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Further tracks will be made available periodically throughout the year. The songs Kylie has recorded are a surprise and will be revealed on the day they become available.
Kylie re-entered the studio last year, following the spectacular Aphrodite: Les Folies world tour, and teased fans throughout the process on Twitter with photos from inside the studio. She has been recording with long time collaborators and renowned producers Steve Anderson and Colin Elliot, the amazing Aphrodite Band, four backing vocalists and a 24 piece string orchestra, led by Cliff Masterson.
This track will be the first glimpse at what Kylie has in store for fans in 2012.
