Prenosimo i raspis Europskog prvenstva sa bloga HMS-a.

Dear friends!
After 11 years we are, at last, in motherland of majorettes, in France. 200 years ago majorettes start in France and it was EMA’s biggest wish to have championship in France and again to make France center of majorettes’ dance. So, this year European majorettes’ championship will be something special, something what we will remember.

Here are details concerning European championship 2009:

1. EMC 2009 will take place in Fouras, France, from 11th till 13th September 2009. Details will be sent in bulletin no. 1 after registration.

2. Inspection meeting was successful. Place for the championship is in the town center. Producer managed to arrange lodging for 1.200 participants. Organizer contact:

3. You have to send National association official list and Registration form till 25th July 2009 to our administration office on fax. 00385-1-34-65-886 or e-mail: EMA_European_majorettes@yahoo.com and to the producer on e-mail: danses.et.musiques@hotmail.fr. Any federation/team, which does not send application form before 25th July 2009 can not participate in European championship.

4. Teams must pay fee of 50 EUR per team for participation in European Championship (every team in each category, so if one team participates in 3 categories, they must pay 150 EUR), 30 EUR per duo and 15 EUR per solo. Fee must be paid during accreditation on 11th September 2009. Please send this note to your teams, which will participate in Europeans.

5. Teams must take lodging, lunch and dinner, from the list which is sent in attachment. Teams are not allowed to organize meals (except breakfast) by themselves. If teams will do that they can not participate in EMC. This is why we negotiate with organizers for 2 months because we did not want to have this rule and we did not want to pay first amount they asked. After negotiations they put lower prices and they are now in reasonable level.

6. Deadline for first 50% of payment will be 7th August, and deadline for second 50% of payment will be 1st September 2009. For payment you will get invoice by organizers.

7. Please send us name of the judge that you delegate in European championship as the judge from your country.

8. National associations which will not pay membership fee of 170 EUR before championship (till 5th September 2009 on EMA’s account or in cash on 11th September 2009 at accreditation) can not participate in European championship or General Assembly.


Please note that:
- minimum number of majorettes in formation is 8 (not 12 any more)
- majorettes can participate in solo and duo competition in batons and pom-poms
- there is no need to sleep over during trip to France because it is 1.400-1.700 km from Central Europe what you can reach in less than 24 hours (bus has to stop after 27 hours, exceptionally after 30 hours).

Please send us information till deadline. After the deadline information can not be processed. Be aware of the consequences!

Please note that EMA office is on holidays from 9th July till 7th August.
In that time no one will be in the office.
