World Autism Day in Skopje

Macedonian Scientific Society of Autism is the first and single on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, dealing with the autism problematic, and it is composed of special educators and rehabilitators, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, medical doctors, immunologists, allergologists and other professionals and scientific workers.
In the occasion of notification of the World autism day 2nd of April, we got an idea to organize a small event, by which we will enable all interested to expend their knowledge, realize their humanity and to contribute in improving of the general conditions of the persons with autism and their families, we will also enable them to get introduced with the basic autism characteristics and its conditions in the Republic of Macedonia, in relation to the nowadays experience which shows that the culture and knowledge about the autism problematic is very low.
It is our pleasure to inform you that the patron of the event is the wife of the President of the Republic of Macedonia, Mrs. Maja Ivanova.
The event will be organized on the 2nd of April (Saturday) in the area of the street Macedonia, in the center of the city of Skopje, near the monument of Mother Theresa in the period between 11:30 and 15:00 o’clock. Balloons, t-shirts with the autism sign and pamphlets with the basic information about autism will be shared symbolically. At the same time the bystanders and the visitors can follow the program with information about autism and pleasure music by our famous artists.
