Aunt Kris-ee-T

News on the baby front! (sort of)
No baby yet. I returned from Minneapolis today. Big sister and baby are doing pretty well in the hospital. She had some pretty regular contractions last night, but they subsided by morning and the doctors now feel fairly positive that the baby will make it till 32 weeks, which would be fantastic. After a few days of some pretty severe Type-A personality issues, I think that my sister has finally mellowed out and succumb to the idea of being in the hospital for an extended stay. She had a good talk with a massage therapist/guided visualization (I think) person that convinced her to do what we had been telling her all along...let people help you. She got her to write out the anxiety and negative feelings, as well as the positive feelings in a journal that she will be able to share with Ava (baby) down the road. I planned on staying up there until tomorrow, but she seemed much better today, so I decided to head home.
Upon the return, I find out that leaving your life for 4 days has reprocussions. 16 emails that need to be answered and an apartment that needs to be vacuumed BADLY! Ah well, I had some fantastic bonding time with E-man and I was bestowed a new name. Kris-ee-T. Auntie Kris-ee-T. I like it.


Mr. Dirty-Face here, thoroughly enjoyed his Eggos and Chocolate Milk for Breakfast.
