Sitting. Waiting for the words to come. *Splitting* headache.

As has been the fashion for the last few weeks, my body decided to move
into insomniac mode last night. I really don't understand what
the issue has been for the last few weeks. I used to be really
good at sleeping. Lately, however, I have had some distinct
problems in this arena. Seeing the early side of 3 am when you
really need to be up at 7 am does deadly things to ones productivity
for the day. Today, Tuesday, is an unique day in my stream of
events this semester because it is the only day that I don't *have* to
be up at 7. There's a catch, though. My thesis *has* to be
done this semester. Last day for cancellation of graduation is
March 24, so if it's not ready to go by then, no graduation for me
until August. I realize that this, with the combination of a new
semester, may be what's destroyed my sleep patterns...but damn, this
will be my life on the professor track. Good, quality, regular
sleep needs to come soon.

I have had the greatest desire to write in the last few weeks, which is
good, but when I sat down to write today, things have not turned out so
well. Currently, after 2 hours of work....I have one
paragraph. Actually, it's more like 3 sentances. My goal of
posting here is to encourage the words. Maybe, just maybe, if I
get some out here, the rest of the words can sort themselves out in the
word document. I have had some killer ispriation from
cmpriest
recently. If you don't know of her, take a look at her LJ.
She's a wonderful writer, who's actually starting to make a living at
it. I noticed her first book at B & N the other day and went,
"Hey! I know her!" Of course I really don't know her, but
after a year and a half of reading her blog, it sort of feels as though I do.
Someday, just someday, I really wish that I could have some measure of
success.

I've (well, actually Steve) figured out that if I write 2 pages each
week-day, I can get the thesis done in 6 weeks. Wish me luck!
