Path Of Exile: My Sestion On Charged Dash
In PoE, CD is getting a rework, with the basic mechanical change being to remove the hit overlap, and instead have it hit repeatedly while channelling. Well, great, although as has been pointed out, that's what Blade Flurry does. Of course GGG could have something extra in mind to make it work, but on face value it doesn't seem to me like this approach can overcome the major issues with the skill right now.
1. Damage: Removing the hit overlap seems like a major nerf, so I'm sure GGG will buff deeps in some other way. The thing is though, it's still a movement skill, so I highly doubt the damage would ever be made competitive with Blade Flurry while they both fit the same niche of a in-place channelling attack skill. That lightning conversion on CD might attract a few away from Blade Flurry it the numbers were close, but I doubt it. Having enough chaos orbs poe is important.
The range on CD, and its ability to jump gaps and obstacles are great. That said, it's slower than walking at maximum charge, and slower than cyclone if doing repeated short channels. On top of this, once charging you can't change direction to react during a fight or around narrow corridors, so even if it was FAST at maximum channel duration, it still wouldn't be very usable.
CwC sounds like a decent use for this skill at first, but as it turns out.. like the movement, it's next to useless. With for example Blight + CwC, the triggered spell goes to your cursor at each cast, so you can keep targeting the spells where you need to. With CD + CwC on the other hand, it continues casting exactly where your cursor was when channelling began, so if the enemy moves at all, you have to stop & restart the channelling, which takes far too long to be useful.
So how about instead of the movement portion remaining useless and just turning it into a not-quite Blade Flurry, what if it was something more like a "controlled-Flicker", with the ability to direct where it goes as you continue channelling? Imagine it's constantly projecting the next attack out in the direction of your cursor, and at each 'step' (where attacks land now) you teleport forward instead of standing still.
Have it follow the cursor at each step so you can redirect it as you go. To make it so you wouldn't just maintain the one channel through a whole map, have the movement speed start higher (30% more?), dropping as the channelling goes on, but also increasing the damage & AOE as happens now.
Then just tweak the recovery animation time (have it scale with channelling duration too perhaps) until it's possible to, with the right channel-duration, move as fast as WB or SC.
This can then be used for trash clear as you go, then when you hit a tougher enemy or want AOE over movement speed you just maintain the channel instead of releasing it. PoE: Do You Know The Most Used Scam Methods In 3.2?
In Path of Exile, GGG can't do anything against scamming, because the law in new zealand does not allow them to do so. Naming and shaming and online mobbing is not allowed, so GGG has to remove every post on their forums which calls out a scammer.
1. Poorjoys Rota Scam:
How is this useful for scammer? They will build up a thread with a lot of vouches to seem trustable, and then start scamming and just remove every post which calls them out. Or they just scam you ingame and when they get called out too much in global chats, they request a name change. It is important for players to know the following methods.
scammer goes into global 820, writes “LFM poorjoys 1 h/o rota, eu/na/sea x/6”, after he gets a full 6 man party, people will trade him their maps, since 1 h/o means the party leader will open all 6 maps in his hideout, so the rota takes less time. Usually every poorjoys rota is 1 h/o so nothing suspicious. Once he got the maps he /ignores the whole party if too much people will call him out on global, he will request a name change.
2. Master Crafting Scam:
scammer gets his masters to level 8, opens a thread on the forum and offers free master craft service. He gathers 3-4 pages of reputation and vouches. Then every time someone comes for a expensive meta mod craft for 2ex or by any chance trades him a really valuable item, he just keep it and /ignores you. If you proceed to call him out on the forum, they will just report you for being offensive, and the mods have to remove your post.
3. Beast Crafting Scam:
scammer offers expensive Beastcraft Services on global, like “WTS Aspect of the xxx craft for xx Ex”, when someone joins him, he takes their item and their ex and /ignores them.
4. Boss Killing Service Scam:
scammer convinces you that he has bad lags(or any reason) when he doesn't open the set in his h/o, so that you end up trading him the set. Then he either kicks you out of the party, or he runs the set, and if a valuable item drops, he will not tell you and act like something shitty dropped.
5. General Rota Scam:
scammer hosts a rota, puts himself at last, and then kick everybody once its his turn and make a new rotation.
6. Pale Council Scam:
there is a challenge this league which says, “kill a tome without it being able to cast spark”. Scammer goes into /trade 820, writes “WTS Pale Council Encounters V Challenge, 100% success 20c x/6”, once he has a full party, he links his set, and proceeds to take the money. Once he gathered the money, he /ignore every1.
7. Farric Alpha Tiger Scam:
a super rare challenge. Scammer opens any t13+ map, uses one portal, and gets out. Puts up walls so no one can join the map. Goes into /trade 820 and writes “WTS Farric Alpha Tiger for Challenge 2ex”, as soon as 1-2 ppl join, he takes their money, removes the walls, and let them realise he just scammed them.
In fact, fraudulent tricks are more than just these, only way is to be careful, good luck to you.

The Rate Of Encounter The PoE Four Legendary Beasts Increased
In Path of Exile, GGG said that they're deploying a change that greatly increased the rate that you encounter the four Legendary Beasts that grant access to the Spirit Beast fights.
GGG initially avoided increasing the spawn rate of these beasts until they had deployed Beast Trading, as there were certainly economic implications of much easier economic access to these beasts.
Collectors of path of exile currency will now come across a Beast that grants access to one of the four Spirit Boss fights approximately once per 50 maps. And the Beasts that grant access to Spirit Beasts start appearing in Tier 5, 7, 10 and 13 maps respectively.
GGG have also been working on increasing the difficulty and reward of the Beasts that spawn once per area (the "yellow" ones), so that fights are more challenging. This goes alongside the improvements to their recipes they made recently, though the reward part was deployed first. They're also working on new recipes that use these mods for other rewards.

That would be nice. As a necromancer, most yellows die before I even have a chance to throw a net, and I have yet to see a single necro net.
This change 2 weeks in is much better than how long it took Lich spawn rate to be adjusted. Good on them.
This announcement contains absolutely no information on the spawn rate of the Farrul spirit beast. It may just stay as rare as it is while the others get more common, since all that was announced was that the rate at which one will find any of those beasts is now 1 in 50 maps.
All the post says is that you will get access to one of the beasts approximately 1 in every 50 maps. It doesn't say you will get access to the rarest spirit beast 1 in every 50.

Do You Know How To Pick A Class In PoE
In Path of Exile, there are 7 character classes to choose for collectors of poe orbs from - Duelist, Ranger, Witch, Scion, Marauder, Templar and Shadow. In Path of Exile biggest difference between classes used to be their starting point on the skill tree, but after expansion Ascendancy classes were introduced.
After completing Izaro's Labyrinth, you will unlock ascendancy class for your character class which takes your build into more specific direction and gives it more power.
When planning out the build and skills that you are going to use, most important thing is to look at Ascendancy classes because they have a bigger impact than just starting point on the skill tree. At first, check out a list of active skill gems if you don't know what kind of skills the game has, pick some and check them out in the game.
The first and most important thing you need to know about character creation in Path of Exile is that every class has access to the same passive and active skills. In other words, no matter who you pick, you can (in theory) create whatever type of build you'd like.
Of course, you might wonder what the point of choosing a class is at all, which brings us to the second most important point: your class dictates which skills are easiest to acquire.
While any class could access bow-based passive abilities, the dexterity - centric Ranger begins her leveling process extremely close to the bow ability nodes. For anyone choosing the Ranger (and to a lesser extent, the Duelist and the Shadow), getting bow bonuses will be possible by level 6, if not sooner.
By contrast, a Templar (whose home is in the exact opposite corner of the ability tree) would need to spend at least eighteen skill points to reach his first archery ability!
In other words, while you can certainly create an arrow-slinging Templar if you want, you'll be “wasting” at least twelve skill points just to get him into the appropriate part of the passive skill tree. You'll also be disadvantaged by the fact that early-game skill gem rewards will, by default, be strength and intelligence aligned, not particularly useful for an archer! That said, skill gems can be traded easily, so if you're determined to create a bow-wielding Scotsman, it's possible - just difficult.
