S 94,9 Novi korisnik frekvencije 94.9 fm, na nacionalnom nivou, je Radio S Bakija Andjelkovića, koji je u skladu s tim nedavno uputio zvaničan zahtev nadležnima za ulazak u proceduru preuzimanja frekvencije, prema utvrđenim zakonskim rokovima. S tim u vezi, emitovanje našeg programa biće i zvanično okončano najkasnije početkom septembra. U konstruktivnom dogovoru sa rukovodstvom kuće i novim glavnim i odgovornim urednikom Radija Studio B, odlučeno je da će zaposleni sa DJ Radija Studija B - 949, kao i volonteri koji su njegov program kreirali tokom prethodnih sedam godina, nastaviti da rade na Prvom programu Studija B, koji će jesenju sezonu započeti sa novom programskom shemom, u okviru koje ćete pronaći poznate muzičke sadržaje sa našeg programa, kao i neke sasvim drugačije i nove. Čujemo se od septembra na Prvom programu Studija B - 100.8/99.1/105.4 fm. |

Can & Kraftwerk rariteti
 Some of the best early work of German Krautfathers Can came from assorted soundtrack music they did; this track, the previously-unreleased "The Million Game" (MP3) was the theme to a 1971 TV show called Das Millionenspiel. It apparently existed in segments, puzzled together Frankenstein-like for the compilation Kraut! Bloody Rageous, which has been popping up on CD over the years piecing together some of the lesser known moments of the German 60s/70's underground (many of these tracks appeared on 90's LPs in a series called Prae-Kraut Pandemonium). If you're missing the better-known Can from your collection, hop to it, Mute has been issuing great sounding remasters of their entire catalogue in the last two years with a new batch just hitting now of some of the later period discs. I bought a lot of these on CD back when Restless was issuing them in the 1980's and the sound of the new batch is a hundred times better. Secondly, here's an excerpt from a 1971 Bremen radio concert from Kraftwerk, "Heavy Metal Kids" (MP3) is a side of the band their present-day fans don't hear much, full on guitar and drums raging along. |

 Šesti nastavak u serijalu kompilacija koja predstavlja domaći elektronski i klupski zvuk donosi izbor nove produkcije etabliranih imena poput Marka Nastića (Space Explorers), Jazzve ili Faktor X-a koji je nedavno imao izdanje za Steve Bug-ov Audiomatique, aktuelni materijal nekolicine lokalnih talenata koje znamo iz ranijih epizoda serijala (Poems, MKDSL, Flip) kao i veoma zanimljive debitantske radove koje potpisuju Miloš Pavlović i Kruko. Tu su i internacionalni gosti - legendarni njujorški producent Abe Duque, potpisnik poslednjeg studijskog albuma DJ Hell-a, za ovu priliku u saradnji sa Tijanom T i Andi Teichmann (Festplatten, Berlin) čiju numeru Myschkin slušamo u reinterpretaciji još jednog debitanta, Marka Milosavljevića. Izbor autora i materijala za ovaj album baziran je u vitalnom i aktivnom delu naše scene a većina potpisanih kao disk džokeji ili projekti koji nastupaju uživo ujedno čine i esenciju klupske ponude prestonice. Logična posledica je da zastupljene numere naginju u pravcu plesnog podijuma više nego na ranijim nastavcima ali i da kao koherentna celina svedoče o bogatstvu varijacija u okviru ovaj put dominatnog house žanra. 1. Goodnite Syd. Sweet dreams man!
Former Pink Floyd singer/guitarist Syd Barrett, has passed away at the age of 60. He left the band at the pinnacle of his career in 1968 after suffering a drug-induced breakdown. He died in his Cambridgeshire home last Friday (July 7) from cancer. Born Roger Keith Barrett January 6, 1946, Syd was a contributing member on Pink Floyd's The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967) and A Saucerful of Secrets (1968). After leaving the band, he lived in the basement of his mother Winfred's home, in which he boarded up the windows to avoid the press and fans. Other than that, he recorded two solo records: The Madcap Laughs and Barrett, as well as Opel, a compilation album made up of rare and alternate material. Sasvim je moguće da je jedan od propovednika savremene muzike upravo – žena. Zove se Laurie Anderson. Ona može više da učini za oslobađanje roda nego li tuce feminističkih pokreta   SO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESLA! Koncertom “Songs and Stories” zvanicno je počeo Beogradski letnji festival (Belef), na dan rodjenja velikog naučnika Tesle pre 150 godina, koji je jedna od njenih inspiracija. Lori Anderson ostro je kritikovala u svom originalnom scenskom nastupu i americki nacin zivota i potrošacko drustvo uopste, ukazujuci kroz različite price-pesme na problem nezastićenosti pojedinca u drustvu masovnih medija, kao i na usamljenost, pretvaranje i neiskrenost… Kroz deo Aristofanovih “Ptica” ona je ukazala i kako je nastalo pamćenje, a pevala je i o potrošackom drustvu kroz priču o reklamama muskog donjeg veša na gradskim bilbordima, o manipulaciji kroz pesmu o kurvama, a o neiskrenosti kroz priču o ženama koje danas misle da su filmske zvezde, a muskarci kraljevi… Njene pesme velikim delom posvecene su Americi, ali pravu Ameriku ona vidi u grupi ljudi koja je u manjini, kao što je rekla i na konferenciji za novinare uoči koncerta, navodeći da smatra da ima više zajednickog, na primer, sa publikom u Beogradu, nego sa ljudima na Floridi.   U pratnji njujorskih muzičara Skulli Sverrisona i Peter Scherera, Lori Anderson je dva puta izlazila na binu da pozdravi oduševljenu publiku, koja je više od sat u mukloj tišini uživala u koncertu koji je uključivao i video i titl na srpskom jeziku, odnosno prevod njenih priča-pesama. Poslednjih 30-ak godina stvorila je mnoga ključna dela savremene umetnosti, počev od govornih performansa do multimedijalnih dogadjaja. Njeni jedinstveni pop performansi pomerili su granice običnog koncerta i jednako su zadužili elektronsku popularnu muziku, tehno kulturu i vizuelnu umetnost.
