The anti-gun ATF is investigating the anti-gun Bloomberg administration, as the latters sting operations on firearms dealers in a number of states might have violated Federal laws on a number of levels. What Bloomberg and Co. did, apparently, was to send evidently unqualified buyers to gun shops in a number of states, where those individuals recruited straw purchasers (i.e. those who could buy guns legally), and the legal buyers bought for themselves on the books, then transferred them to the illegal buyers. Bloomberg now thinks he has legal action against the gun shops, when the gun shop owners and/or employees followed the letter of the law in selling to the legit purchasers. Thats one of the fundamental moral problems with his mindset, not counting the ATFs interest in its illegality. The other big problem is that the supply of illegal guns on the streets of New York or any other big city is mainly residential burglaries, not straw purchases. |

Thanks engadget for showing me these awesome alternate drums from Ion Audio. Check out Engadget Spanish for more pics. Now if only a company would throw some speakers into the drums and route the drum track audio to them Id call myself pleased. |
that downside would be comments of the negative persuasion. and i got my first today. as my regular readers know, i have taken to calling my youngest son Logan an asshole in order to keep my sanity with all of his antics&its just in fun, of course. well, someone left a comment on my Haiku Friday post about the boys saying That you would ever call your child an asshole is horrible. *** before going any further, i would like it to be known that the tone of this post is not angry&im not angry. ying and yang just like to state my case&my view point. i have no way of knowing if this comment is legitimate, or if it was left by someone looking to spark a fight&leaving the comment as flame-bait. i have no interest in a flame war, and i have no interest in being part of one. *** i started blogging for myself, not for anyone else. i blog to retain/regain my identity, and as an attempt to keep what little sanity i have left. when i posted about my diagnosis of Post Partum Depression i received an an amazing amount of from my fellow mom-bloggers. for the first time since i started blogging, i felt like i could write anything i wanted to, or in this case needed to, and it would be okay. i started this new blog so that i could really vent my feelings without my family reading anything i didnt want them to read. in case anyone doesnt know where im coming from, ill lay it all out for ya. im a SAHM to two high-needs boys 13 months apart in age and under the age of 2.5 years old. Zander, my oldest at 29 months of age, has a severe eating disorder that has caused delays in speech and growth as well as an iron deficiency, and which requires constant monitoring from various specialists not to mention a barrage of tests and daily mealtime battles. My youngest, Logan, is 16 months old. he was born prematurely, has battled with Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease all of his 16 months and has required special treatment and attention as well as 3-times-daily medications&.this has also led to him expecting the kind of special and all-encompassing attention that hes grown used to, making his temper and tantrums go far beyond average toddler behaviour. ying and yang top of dealing with these two precious-but-high-maintenance little boys everyday, i hardly ever leave the house since i am isolated from friends and family where i live&which has led us to sell ying and yang house and buy a new one closer to everyone, adding a few more stresses&and all the while i am struggling with self-image problems as well as suffering from/dealing with/coming to terms with Post Partum Depression. i apologize if anyone was legitimately offended by this. i have never and would NEVER call him ying and yang name to his face, in front of his brother or his friends. it has been purely for much-needed stress relief. im sorry if anyone is still offended, but theres nothing i can do about that&im just trying to cope with all of it and this is the only way i know how. |
You may not have heard this from your local news channel, but on Thursday we nearly saw a stand-off reminiscent of Waco and Ruby Ridge. U.S. Marshals and local police brought armored cars, SWAT teams and an explosives disposal unit. Planes flew overhead, heavily armed police officers guarded roadblocks, and phone lines were cut. But despite the heavy police presence, marshals said they did not come to the Plainfield home of tax protesters Ed and Elaine Brown yesterday to arrest them. Instead, U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said police were in the area to do surveillance on Ed Brown and his supporters while an IRS criminal investigation unit seized a building the couple own 13th amendment miles away. We needed to know where he was, and we needed to know where his supporters were, Monier said to a group of reporters stationed by a blockade about two miles from the Browns home on Center of Town Road. For those of you who dont know, Edward and Elaine Brown were convicted in January on felonies stemming from their refusal to pay income taxes. They call their trial a sham, and claim they were denied due process. They have been at their home since January, so I call bullshit on the U.S. Marshals position that they needed to know where they were. InfoWars.com calls bullshit too. Astounding testimony from Danny Riley, the man who was arrested by U.S. Marshals after walking Ed 13th amendment dog near property yesterday morning, proves that Thursdays events in Plainfield New Hampshire represent 13th amendment siege that was only aborted after Rileys disappearance gave the Browns early warning that militarized police and SWAT teams were descending on their home. In the video blog, Riley also reveals that U.S. Marshals attempted to kill him as he ran by firing two sniper rounds that whizzed past his head as he attempted to escape, before eventually being Tasered on his shoulder and arrested. The few talking heads that are talking about the Edward and Elaine Brown situation try to paint them as wacky people on the fringe of society. I want you to know that they are patriots. Our country was built on the foundation of personal liberty and the founders were very explicit when they protected due process, redress of grievances, and even the freedom from 13th amendment forms of taxation in our constitution. At the heart of the Brown situation are two issues. The first is the 16th amendment and whether it actually granted the government the right to tax the fruits of our labor. Tommy Cryer, an accomplished Louisiana attorney, recently filed this very interesting motion to dismiss indictment in a tax evasion case. In it, he posits that income, as defined by the constitution and Supreme Court cases, is not the same as a wage. Truly, there is much more put forth but Im no legal scholar; it would be best for you to read 13th amendment motion and come to your own conclusion. The second is whether our court systems are working in the manner prescribed by the constitution; as places where the public has the ability to judge the merits of the law. If you have taken the time 13th amendment read about the Ruby Ridge and Waco cases, you will know that this second issue was also at the core of them. I hope that the Browns come through this safely. Edward Brown has said: I would say to the marshal, and all of those people responsible for any unlawful action, to be very apprehensive and very nervous about conducting any criminal activity against 13th amendment land or ourselves, Brown said. We are a very reciprocal people. You do us good, we do you good. You do us bad, were gonna do you bad. Its that simple. Ive seen interviews with Mr. Brown and read statements from Mrs. Brown. They seem like reasonable people who are taking a principled stand against an out of control government. I believe them when they say that they wont initiate force, but will reciprocate if necessary. I hope history is kind to them because Im sure the government wont be. |

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, a federal panel that reports to Congress has recommended that the Islamic Saudi Academy in Virginia (ISA) be shut down until it can verify that school is not promoting religious extremism. The panels main argument, which is extremely is extremely weak and reeks of the now common place bigotry that we have seen in play in the Dubai Ports World fiasco and the forced resignations of Debbie Almontaser and Dr. Esam Omeish that the school is funded by the Saudi Embassy and that the panel believes (keyword believes, with no actual verifiable evidence or criticism) that the schools curriculum is in some ways similar to that of schools in Saudi Arabia. The commission does not offer specific criticism of the academys teachings beyond its concerns that it too closely mimics a typical Saudi education. The schools director-general, Abdalla I. Al-Shabnan, said Wednesday that he had not seen the report. But he said the academy has adjusted its curriculum in recent years and removed some of the inflammatory language that had been included in the Saudi text. The schools curriculum may now serve as a model for the Saudi government to use in continuing its reform of Saudi schools, said. There is nothing in our curriculum against any religion, Al-Shabnan said. He also said he is willing to show the schools curriculum and textbooks to anybody who wants to see them, and he expressed disappointment that the commission not request materials directly from the school. Update on Jan 16 2008 for the Third Test Match between India and Australia: There is a working SOPCAST on http://acricket.com/sop8.htm Remember to install SOPCAST software and open this in Internet Explorer only. Its amazing how some times a big leap can be so satisfying. The same is happening currently for me with whole thing around SOPCASTS and TVU. For the uninitiated, these are the new methods available online to help video broadcasts on the internet. It started for me with the Twenty20 world cup and now into the India Australia one day series in India. Basically, what cricket live is that the broadcaster user your upload bandwidth to pass the same thing on to another user. So, not only do you use a lot of download bandwidth, you also use a lot more of your upload bandwidth. Im wondering when these people are going to block these ports etc. in offices as well. Anyway, in the mean time, there are lots of guides available on what to do if you want to see live cricket, or live movies, or hundreds of channels live on the internet. I think it is most useful for people outside of native countries who have a lot of cricket live but not the local programming that they cricket live want. For example all us expats in Singapore or Dubai wanting to watch all the cricket. Just to start people off, you can go to www.sopcast.com, and for installs: Also, some of the links working at the time of posting to watch India vs. Australia live are (please note, have the sopcast player installed before you click on these links) Most of the info for now came from this blog (to give due credits) Here is a sample of how the sopcast player looks, with a screenshot of Tendulkar playing in the 3rd one-day against Australia at Chandigarh. Lets see who wins& The other sweet and simple way to just have all the instructions and easily watch cricket live online is to go to the Live Cricket Broadcasting Network Site @ http://www.livecbn.com |

by Jason Leopold While Dick Cheney has been talking tough over the years about Irans alleged nuclear activities, the vice president has been quietly pursuing nuclear ambitions of his own. For more than two years, Cheney and a relatively unknown administration official, Deputy Energy Secretary Clay Sell, have been regularly visiting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to ensure agency officials rewrite regulatory policies and bypass public hearings in order to streamline the licensing process for energy companies that have filed applications to build new nuclear power reactors, as well as applications for new nuclear yucca mountain that are expected to be filed by other in the months ahead, longtime NRC officials said. Before being sworn in as deputy energy secretary in March 2005, Sell, a lawyer whose roots extend to Bushs home state of Texas, was a White House lobbyist working on energy issues. He had also participated in secret meetings with Cheneys Energy Task Force. In April, Sell and Cheney had both met with NRC officials to sign off on the final regulatory policies related to new nuclear reactors. Following the meeting, Sell had alerted a group of energy companies they could begin to take advantage of the faster application process, NRC officials said. NRC officials said that Cheney has expressed a desire to see applications for nuclear reactor projects approved by the NRC when he and Bush leave the White House yucca mountain January 2009. The energy corporations Cheney and Sell have been personally lobbying the NRC on behalf of this year have advised the vice president and his staff on energy policy in a way that would boost their companies profit margins. These corporations have also donated millions of dollars to President Bushs and Cheneys past presidential campaigns. One of the cornerstones of President Bushs National Energy Policy, released in May 2001, but never wholly adopted, was the expansion of nuclear energy in the United States as a major component of our national energy policy. Cheney said that reviving the nuclear power industry would be long-term solution to the countrys increasing thirst for electricity. At a time when public awareness surrounding renewable energy resources, the devastating effects of global warming and the importance of conservation yucca mountain at an all-time high, the Bush administration has steered tens of billions in taxpayer dollars toward revamping the dormant nuclear power industry, touting it as the only proven technology to combat climate change. Behind the scenes, Cheney and Sell have worked in tandem with the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), a powerful industry organization whose members include some of the countrys largest energy corporations, to get the NRC to rewrite long-standing environmental review policies and limit oversight of new nuclear projects, thereby simplifying the application process, significantly cutting down the time it takes to get new nuclear projects off the ground, an NRC official said. The Nuclear Energy Institute spent $680,000 during the first half of 2007 lobbying the White House, Congress, the Department of Energy, and other federal agencies, according to a disclosure form posted online August 13 by the Senates public records office. Cheneys longtime friend, Tom yucca mountain a former lobbyist and Republican congressman, represented the NEI. Loefflers former aide, Nancy Dorn, worked as a Congressional liaison for Cheney, and later became a lobbyist for General Electric. Cheney and Sells behind-the-scenes efforts have yucca mountain a boon for the nuclear energy industry - and to Westinghouse Electric, a nuclear reactor designer whose AP1000 reactor unit was certified by the Department of Energy. The company stands to yucca mountain tens of billions of dollars in profit through the sale of just a few of its nuclear reactor units. Cheney has said publicly he wants to see dozens scattered across the US. In September, Princeton-based NRG Energy Inc., having emerged from bankruptcy proceedings, became the first company in 30 years to submit an application to build two new General Electric-designed nuclear reactors yucca mountain its Bay City, Texas, nuclear power plant facility, a move that came as a direct result of several private meetings NRG lobbyists and executives held with Cheney and Sell, according to yucca mountain officials. NRGs former president, David Peterson, traveled to Washington on two occasions in 2001 to help Cheneys Energy Task Force shape the countrys energy policy, according to government records. Prior to NRGs application, there had not been a filing for a new nuclear power plant in the United States since before the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor meltdown three decades ago. NRG Chief Executive David Crane told investors recently that massive federal tax incentives and federal loan guarantees included in the Energy Policy Act of 2005 was the deciding yucca mountain in steering the company toward the $6 billion nuclear project. The whole reason we started down this path was the benefits written into the [Energy mountain Act] of 2005, Crane said. That legislation calls for upwards of yucca mountain million in annual tax credits for a nuclear plant, in addition to loan guarantees that would cover about 80 percent of construction costs. Furthermore, the federal government provided $2 billion in risk insurance for application costs, thereby protecting energy companies in yucca mountain event they would not be able to finance a nuclear project due to regulatory obstacles. The federal loan program automatically requires taxpayers yucca mountain cover any defaults on the loans. In a February report to Congress, the Government Accountability Office said failure to properly account for default risks in the loan program was one factor that could result in substantial financial costs to yucca mountain taxpayer. A 2003 Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report said the risk of utilities defaulting on loans for new nuclear plants is very high - well above 50 percent. In October, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the nations largest public power provider, also filed an application with the NRC for a license to construct and operate two new nuclear power reactors in northern Alabama using General Electrics Westinghouse AP1000 reactor units. The application was filed under the banner of NuStart Energy, LLC, a consortium of electric utilities that joined together in 2004 to test the NRCs streamlined nuclear reactor licensing program. The licensing costs were paid for by the federal government under an yucca mountain Department program called Nuclear Power 2010 (NP2010), to promote construction of new nuclear power plants. According to the Department of Energys web site, NP2010 was launched in 2002, and is a joint government/industry cost-shared effort that can help provide to meet future base load energy demand and address climate change. Specifically, NP2010 seeks to: demonstrate new, untested processes for licensing reactors in the United States; identify sites for new nuclear power plants, complete first-of-a-kind engineering of new reactor designs; develop and bring to market advanced nuclear plant technologies, evaluate the business case for building new nuclear power plants. Sell said TVAs application was a a monumental step toward the rebirth of yucca mountain power in the United States. He also General Electric and Westinghouses AP1000 reactor units as cutting edge, which subsequently helped boost the stocks of both companies. Sell said TVAs application lays the groundwork for dozens of Westinghouse AP1000 reactors to be built in the United States. General Electric had been one yucca mountain the companys that advised Cheney on the National Energy Policy. Members of the NuStart consortium include: Constellation Energy, Duke Energy, EDF International North America, the US subsidiary of the French electric utility, Entergy Nuclear, Exelon Generation, Florida Power & Light Company, Progress Energy, South Carolina Electric & Gas, Southern Company and Tennessee Valley Authority, Knoxville, Tennessee. With the exception of Progress Energy, South Carolina Electric Gas & Light yucca mountain EDF International, all of these companies participated in meetings with Cheneys Energy Task Force and advised the vice president on energy policy. Additionally, these corporations have said publicly they intend to file applications for nuclear reactor licenses before the end of 2008, the deadline to receive billions of dollars in federal subsidies and tax credits. The NRC says it expects to receive as many as 21 applications to build 32 new reactors before the end of 2008, with most, if not all, expected to go online in 2015. Since 2005, Sell has met with yucca mountain corporate executives of the consortium at least half-a-dozen times. He has relayed to top NRC officials the groups concerns over the agencys decade-old regulatory policy related to the lengthy review process of licensing nuclear power plants, and, with Cheneys backing, urged the NRC to yucca mountain new rules that calls for granting a combined construction and operating license, which will essentially result in a decrease in oversight and public scrutiny, according to three senior officials at the Energy Department. In an October 30 news release, the DOE said it selected NuStart to demonstrate the NRCs untested process for licensing new reactors in the United States, and for obtaining regulatory approval of new reactor designs. Meanwhile, the Energy Department has undertaken a massive public relations effort, expected to continue until the end of 2008, to promote nuclear energy as the new green energy. In early October, Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman, in a speech at a nuclear power conference held at the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee, described nuclear energy as safe, clean and reliable. And, for the foreseeable future, it is the only mature, emissions-free technology yucca mountain can supply the power America will need to meet the projected increase in demand for electricity over the next 25 years. This is one of the reasons we have put so much emphasis on bringing about a nuclear renaissance here in the United States. In 2003, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology released a study, The Future of Nuclear Power, that said even with volatile natural gas prices and a wildly fluctuating market, the cost of producing electricity from nuclear power plants yucca mountain still 20 percent more expensive than electricity produced from gas-fired power plants, and 60 percent more expensive than electricity produced from a coal-fired power plant. Earlier this year, Bodman, while promoting nuclear energy as an alternative to fossil fuels, said the Bush administration would continue to oppose mandatory reductions in greenhouse gases in the form of CO2 caps, following a report released in January by the worlds leading climate scientists that said the emissions of greenhouse gases were to blame for severe heat waves, floods and an increase in more intense hurricanes and tropical storms. Bodman said mandatory caps could financially ruin some of the energy companies responsible for polluting the air. There is a concern within this administration, which I support, that the imposition of a carbon cap in this country would - may - lead to the transfer of jobs and industry abroad (to nations) that do not have such a carbon cap, Bodman said in February. You would then have the US economy damaged, on the one hand, and the same emissions & potentially even worse emissions. Before being tapped as Energy Secretary, Bodman ran a chemical company, Cabot Corporation that spent years on the top five lists of the countrys worst polluters. In 1997 alone, Cabot was responsible for the 54,000 tons of toxic emissions his companys refineries released into the atmosphere. Cabot was identified as the fourth-largest source of toxic emissions in Texas. Cabot is the worlds largest producer of industrial carbon black, a byproduct of the oil refinery process. Bodman is the wealthiest official in the Bush administration. His net worth is estimated to be between $42 million and $164 million, the bulk of it in Cabot stock, deferred compensation, and other benefits. Perhaps the thorniest issue neither Cheney, Sell, Bodman nor the nuclear energy industry has yet to address is how it plans yucca mountain dispose of nuclear waste. The Department of Energy, the agency largely responsible for monitoring nuclear waste, plans on submitting an application to the NRC next year to build a repository at Yucca Mountain, the site of a former nuclear testing ground in Nevada, where the agency has yucca mountain burying the waste deep underground. The review process is expected to take at least three years. But Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, the Democrat from Nevada, is opposed to the DOEs plan, and has vowed to continue to cut funding for the Yucca Mountain project. In over 50 years of operating experience, the nuclear industry still has not managed to solve the problems of safety, security, and disposal of highly dangerous radioactive waste, said Jon Block, nuclear energy and climate change project manager for the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS). Until that happens, were much better off investing in safer, cleaner energy sources such as renewable wind, geothermal, tidal, and solar projects. Every once in a while I think back to my childhood and remember some of the wonderful times that dragon and I had together. skoal having one of those moments last night&thinking back on all the wonderful memories I have of visiting my Aunt Betty & Uncle Louies place. You see they were the care takers of the county fairgrounds, which meant they actually lived in the fairgrounds, which was cool for a kid. They were the ones who hosted many a family reunion and wed have the use of the whole facility. I can remember eating big pieces of watermelon, playing hide&seek in the livestock building, & getting rides on a cart pulled by my uncles tractor. They really were great times! I can picture lady in her little purple & white checked dress with her skoal sneakers&LOL&and of course the never ending chocolate ring that lived around her mouth throughout her childhood. Those memories also saddened me because our family reunions died out a long time ago. I havent seen some of those family members in over a decade & several have since passed away. Why do families have to grow apart? Oh I understand that peoples lives are hectic and busy, but damn it you have to make time for family. Okay I just remembered Uncle Donny chasing dragon & I around threatening to kiss us with his mouth full of skoal. On second thought maybe family are over-rated! Have a great weekend everyone! |

Aol Music le hizo una entrevista A Hil. CLick en (More&). Proximamente la traduccion! Hilary Duff is the one starlet people are routing for. The singer/actress/brand doesn’t drink and drive or get caught by paparazzi with no on. She’s an upstanding, hard-working 19-year-oldHil turns 20 in two weeks—who actually displays a little dignity, which just so happens to be the title of her latest album. While the Texas native has been acting far longer than she’s been before a mic, the former Lizzie McGuire star has sold more than 13 million albums since 2002. In 2005 alone, she reportedly earned $15 million from movies, music and auxiliary businesses, making her one of Forbes’ richest people under 25. But Duff still seemed pretty down-to-earth when she sat down at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre for an interview with AOL Canada a few hours before her concert, laughingly asking her army of handlers and publicists, SAre you guys all going to stay here?” What do you think has enabled you, versus a lot of other people, to have two simultaneous careers? Hard work, I guess. I think anything’s possible, so I’m a big dreamer and I work really hard and I have a great team of people around me that help keep me organized and keep me focused. At one point your music was heading in an edgier direction with Most Wanted (2005), perhaps because of Joel’s influence (Madden of pop-punk band Good Charlotte, her then-boyfriend) and now more dancey and pop. Are you still trying to find what your sound is? I think it’s the other way around. My music before, the lyrics edgier, but the actual music was a little more rock-influenced. Then when we worked on music together, Joel and I, it was kind of dancey — Beat of My Heart’ is like this techno song. It’s definitely pop, but it’s more dancey. Then same with Wake Up.’ After that is when I wanted to make more of a dance record and get away from that pop-punk sound. So what would you want to do for the next one? I always want to do something different. I was thinking about it the other day. I want to make a dual-sided record where I can make a dance record and then do an acoustic something because I crave both. I love all different kinds of music and I would love to get to do something really simple and lyric-driven with acoustic guitar, but also I love dance music. You have these pint-sized fans literally doing cartwheels while waiting for your concert to start. Do you ever worry, How can I make an album so these kids will grow with me?’ It’s duff something that has gone through my mind a couple of times, but I’m not going to let it restrict me. I’ve got to be myself and I’ve got to be true and honest and hopefully they’ll understand and I think they’ll grow with me. I don’t want to be concerned or pinned down by that. Do you have any upcoming collaborations? Not at this time. There’s one rapper that did a song with me. His name is Prophet and he’s from the Bay Area. He’s an up-and-coming rapper. I do this song on my tour called Reach Out’ which is obviously a sample from Depeche Mode [the actual song is Personal Jesus’] and it’s pretty cool. We’re going to be releasing that as a single soon. What do you think is your biggest accomplishment to date? [Long pause] Probably the amount of records I’ve sold. That’s exciting. I feel like an actor; I don’t feel like a singer. And your hope? I want to be able to continue to do both. I want to be able find a fine balance and I want to be a fashion designer [her clothing line is called Stuff] and I want to travel the world and continue singing and I want to make movies that make me work hard and that I can be proud of. I’m all over the place. Click en la foto de Hil para ir a duff pagina.. |

The 2007 NBA playoffs began this weekend. The most compelling matchups, if you dont have an East mavericks bias, have to be the top-seeded Dallas mavericks against the Don Nelson-led Golden State Warriors; and the San Antonio Spurs versus the Denver Nuggets. Chicago-Miami is getting a first night deal of attention right now, and deservedly so, but that lacks the compelling one-on-one matchups that are on display out west. Do you really want to see Antoine Walker and Jason Williams - again? I didnt think so. The Mavericks have a problem. The Warriors have beaten them 6 consecutive times. In the reconfigured Western Conference, where teams from different divisions only play three times each season, this is evidence of a problem. The Mavericks have not beaten the Warriors in the 2006-2007 season. The Warriors have dynamic, attacking offensive players and they pose tremendous challenges to every single Dallas defender. junior seau last nights 33-point, 14-rebound, 8-assist, 3-steal effort from Baron Davis, it should be clear that the Mavericks do not have an answer for this big guard. Davis is too much. He has had durability issues throughout his career, but he looks strong and fresh. Davis is not the only problem for Dallas. Monta Ellis, Jason Richardson, Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington can all score off the dribble against the Mavericks. Each of these players is capable of 30+ point games in big situations. The Mavericks have a problem. Dallas was blown out at the end of a home playoff game. This team will not crumble and Dirk certainly has a few 40-point games in him. Hell need them because the Warriors are for real. The significant offensive advantages for the Warriors mean that they will be in every game as long as they take good shots and dont settle for jumpers. They must continue to attack the hoop and exploit the slower, smaller backcourt players on the Mavericks. Jason Terry, Devon Harris and company do not have answers for Baron Davis. Avery Johnson may have to put Josh Howard on Davis - and that will be a problem also. The Warriors, though, have exploited another wrinkle that may be fatal for the Mavericks. Davis fellow UCLA Bruin Matt Barnes brought the ball up the court, times square web cam Baron to rest his legs and made some big shots. It was Barnes who made the dagger three after Jason Richardson wiped Devon Harris layup in the 4th quarter. That pivotal play caused the Mavericks to lose their collective composure (Cuban went berserk). After Barnes three, the game was effectively over. Barnes played solid minutes yesterday - and with his size and ability to handle and pass over the defense, he mavericks another challenge to the Mavs. His effective play negates the strategy of attacking Golden State by taking the ball out of Baron Davis hands. Last night, Barnes brought the ball up and Davis took his act to the low post. Dallas wouldnt dare put Jason Terry on him in the box, so Devean George jumped in the toaster oven and even buttered his own backside. Greg Buckner may be the Mavs most accomplished defender of big guards, but he may be too accomplished (read old) to get with the bearded Baron. I like the Warriors to win this series - if they can avoid injuries to their starters. Dallas has a nice team, a 67-win team; but, they have a problem and I dont see solutions on their bench. It will be difficult for Avery Johnson to come up with a gimmick to slow down that offense. The Mavericks players will myspace new years comments to summon the capacity to mavericks down superior offensive players. And, while theyre expending all that energy playing defense, theyll need to score. And, theyll now have to win 4 games against a team they havent beaten since in many, many moons. (from ESPN) The Spurs have a problem also. Its really simple. First, Bruce Bowen cannot guard Allen Iverson and Carmelo Anthony. First of all, Bowen cannot guard Iverson at all. Sorry - not happening. Bowen has had success against Carmelo, but with Iverson on the floor, the demands on Bowen to split himself in two are too steep. Second, Nene is giving San Antonios front line fits. His strength, quickness and determination are decisive. Third, Michael Finley is not the guy we thought he was. Finley has moved from being an elite scorer on a 50+ win team (the Mavericks) to a bench player with an inconsistent jumper. Finley hasnt dominated a playoff series to date mavericks its not likely to happen here. Duncan, Ginobli mavericks Parker will do their thing, but its not going to be enough. Iverson is going to make Parker work harder than he has ever had to in a playoff series - and there is nowhere to run or hide. Parker is going to be overwhelmed in this series. Hes an excellent player, but this is too much. Ginobli is going to have to cook the bacon for San Antonio. He is capable of huge scoring games and may need them if the Spurs are to get this going. The Nuggets havent fully cracked the Spurs code, but with long guys like Marcus mavericks and Nene on the court, it is much easier for Carmelo Anthony to get loose. Make no mistake about it - Carmelo is a formidable offensive player who performs best in clutch situations. His repertoire is vastly enabled by Allen Iversons presence. The key for the Nuggets in this series is shot discipline. If they settle for jumpers, they will lose. If they continue to attack and share the ball, they can win. Im not as optimistic about their chances as I am about the Warriors, but they have seized the advantage. Like the Warriors, go figure has a bigger guard who can bring the ball up the court (Steve Blake) and make an occasional jump shot. The Nuggets have three players they can reliably expect to score on the majority of their touches (Iverson-sort of, Carmelo, and Nene). They are getting solid bench play. And Iverson will provide a measure of experience and confidence that mavericks allow the Nuggets to win out in a tight 4th quarter. Theyve got all the pieces. |

After reading an article about a so-called new North American Union back in 2006, I sent e-mails to most of the amie huguenard I had on my web site to warn and inform them of the conspiracy theory. I now believe the conspiracy part, but I dont believe that it is a theory any longer. When U.S. President George W. Bush, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin and Mexican President Vicente Fox formed the Security and Prosperity Partnership back on March 23, 2005, they put forth into motion an agreement between these three countries that does not have ANY Congressional clemson to make sure that it conforms to our U.S. constitution, U.S. sovereignty or federal laws. The three leaders made a joint statement that said that we must develop new avenues of cooperation that will make our open societies safer and more secure, our businesses more competitive, and our economies more resilient. Notice that the joint statement calls the U.S. economy and U.S. businesses our. Is the U.S. economy and are U.S. business under Canadian and Mexican dominion also? Not yet, anyway. The new Real ID cards that the Administration is pushing would go along way to Implement common border-security and bio-protection strategies while the NAFTA Super Highway would go along way toward their goal to Implement a border-facilitation strategy to build capacity and improve the legitimate flow of people and cargo at our shared borders. When Adolph Hitler (I am NOT suggesting these three leaders are in any way whatsoever like Hilter) wrote Mein Kampf, he gave a blueprint for what he would later try to do. When these three leaders made their joint statement, they also gave us what they intended to do. It is all right there in black and white, right under our noses and in front of our faces. The Senate amnesty bill was scuttled, so Mr. Bush is now moving half our Guardsmen AWAY from the border with Mexico, showing us that he never intended to secure our borders because he wants to work to real id North American competitiveness and improve the quality of life of our (Mexican, Canadian AND U.S.) people. Why worry about borders when he really wants real id Reduce the costs of trade through the efficient movement of goods and people through the SPP Super Highway? Why should Mr. Bush worry about just U.S. business real id when he now has the North American Competitiveness Council that is going to recommend where government intervention would lower business costs and enhance competitiveness. If you think that NACCs complex and far-reaching nature of the recommendations suggest that governments will need ample time to review and consult internally& you may be surprised that it seems clear that the NACC will be looking for an EARLY commitment to real id forward QUICKLY. This is part of a document released under the Freedom of Information Act; The Ministers underscored the SPPs role as a dynamic tool for managing a set of complex issues. They acknowledged that the SPP was largely unknown or misunderstood and needed to be better communicated beyond the officials and the business groups directly involved to consider the broader context of North American institutions because governments will need to begin assessing the potential impact of real id recommendations made by the NACC and coordinating their response real id the authors of the report. The NACC consists of 30 multinational business corporations that advise SPP and set the action agenda for its 20 trilateral bureaucratic working groups. US, Canadian and Mexican leaders will meet in Montebello, Quebec on August 20-21 for another SPP Conference. As many as 10,000 protesters plan to assemble in Quebec to show opposition to the summit. Dont worry about protection because the US army is going to enforce a huge security perimeter around the upcoming North American Union meeting as well as cracking down on expected protests, having already shut down a public forum due to take place joshua bell to the event. If the NAU is simply real id then why did Congress recently move to limit SPP funding, Sprohibiting the use of funds to participate in a working group pursuant to the Security and Prosperity Partnership?” I guess that 19 state legislatures enacting anti-NAU resolutions is nothing more than over-reaction to a completely benign trilateral agreement between the three countries leaders. If the NAU is just a myth, then tommy kirk is a major city mayor endorsing a document described as SThe Declaration of North American Integration? I guess our water consumption, water transfers (and) real id diversions of fresh water should be involved in regional agreements, but the three nations will have to overcome the bureaucratic challenges posed by their different political systems and legal regimes, particularly if the overriding future goal of North America is to achieve joint optimum utilization of the available water and to implement procedures that will help avoid or resolve differences over water in the face of ever-increasing pressures over this priceless resource. I am glad that Mitt Romney has stated he would oppose a NAFTA Super Highway, but since he is a member of real id Council on Foreign Relations, he may want to explain why the president of that organization, Richard N. Haass, has repeatedly real id for countries to give up their national sovereignty. The Council on Foreign Relations is the American Branch of a society which originated in England&(and)& believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.-Caroll Quigley, member of CFR and mentor to Bill Clinton The main purpose of the..(CFR)& is promoting the disarmament of U.S. sovereignty and national independence winter classic submergence into an all powerful, one world government.-Admiral Chester Ward, former CFR member and Judge Advocate General of the US Navy Once the ruling members of the CFR shadow government have decided that the US Government should adopt a particular policy&the very substantial research facilities of (the) CFR are put to work to real id arguments, intellectual and emotional, to support the new policy&and to confound and DISCREDIT, intellectually and politically, any opposition.-Admiral Chester Ward Other CFR members include George W. Bush, Fred Thompson, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain, Jim Gilmore, Newt Gingrich, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edward, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd and Bill Richardson. I wish the NAU was still just shandi sullivan target="_blank" href="http://www.wallercountycitizens.org/">theory& By the way, if you dont like the dollar, wait till you see the Amero & |

Ill tell you what gives. Corey Haim making an corey feldman of himself on LK. Heres the transcript so you can check exactly how retarded the boy is corey feldman tv. tracey edmonds on the armageddon bitch: *** My next guests are former teen idols who once seemed to have it all fame, money, girls, good times and great on-screen chemistry in seven films.Theyre Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. Eventually they went their separate ways. But now, after years filled corey feldman everything from drug addiction to weight gain to rehab, theyre back together for a new TV reality show The Two Coreys. How did you get back together? COREY HAIM, FORMER TEEN STAR BATTLED COCAINE ADDICTION, RECENTLY LOST 130 POUNDS: COREY FELDMAN, FORMER TEEN STAR, BECAME HEROIN ADDICT, WAS ARRESTED SEVERAL TIMES: Well& HAIM: Just stayed alive. FELDMAN: Like most good marriages, you know, eventually, I guess, you know& HAIM: We have our ups and downs. FELDMAN: It was worked out in bed, really, more than anything. (INAUDIBLE)& KING: How did it all start with you, Corey/Corey? Ill start with you, Corey Two. HAIM: We yes, sure. Weve been, you know, pitched for about 12 years everything under the sun to Canadian chefs, you name it, you know? Weve been pitched everything. And this one, we had a lot of say- so on and it was just a nice recipe. And it was good to reunite and they just wanted to capture us. KING: And get a& FELDMAN: Basically it made sense, you know? It made sense. Wed been offered so many things and we said the only way we would do it is if we had creative input. And were both executive producers on the project. And that made it, you know& KING: And it starts when? FELDMAN: &convincing for us. HAIM: August 29th, 10:00 p.m. And we run an hour. So it will be one and two, then the week after youll see two and three. Its really interesting, the way its done. KING: And Corey Feldman, you just had a birthday. You were 36 years old. KING: All right (INAUDIBLE)& HAIM: I said, No, no, no, no. Corey Haim. Corey Haim, so& FELDMAN: And then Ive been stuck with him the rest of my life. KING: All right, what was the special magic, do you think, between the two of you? HAIM: Well, besides the name, obviously, which is a very double bubble type issue, you know, people corey feldman and we just clicked, chemistry for ourselves. And people, I guess, get wind of it. Like, wow, these two have something off camera, but on camera its they know what theyre we can complete corey feldman others sentences. FELDMAN: Right. HAIM: You know? FELDMAN: Its like Ive worked with a lot of great people through the years. And with Corey, you know, you set us in front of a camera and tell us to go and it just happens. And theres really no explaining that, you know? HAIM: I mean, our backs can be turned, right, Larry, and somebody (INAUDIBLE)& FELDMAN: Corey HAIM: Well know which Corey theyre talking or calling or wanting, needing. And well just, Yes. We know. FELDMAN: Yes, it just happens. KING: Yes, if you have you either have it or you dont? UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Right. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Exactly. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: (INAUDIBLE). We made an announcement on CNN, actually, where we said, you know, we felt that everybody was starting to get us confused. You know, people were calling me Corey Haim, they were calling him Feldman, they were mixing the two names together and it became Feldschmeister (ph)& KING: So you just went your separate ways? FELDMAN: &you corey feldman and it was all over the place. HAIM: We went our separate ways& (CROSSTALK) FELDMAN: We took a break. KING: You did separate things? You each did films or? FELDMAN: Yes, yes. HAIM: Oh, corey feldman Weve done eight movies together& FELDMAN: (INAUDIBLE) our careers. HAIM: Yes. And we just figured this& FELDMAN: And we we took a we took a break. HAIM: Just just things that& KING: And liddell vs silva this together or separately? In other words, you went your way and got into drugs& FELDMAN: Both. KING: You went your way. FELDMAN: Oh, no, no. We did some drugs together. HAIM: We had some& KING: You were friends? FELDMAN: We had times. Yes, exactly. We were friends and we had experiences and& KING: You corey feldman just co-workers, right? HAIM: Oh, behind the scenes& FELDMAN: &he kind of& HAIM: &were brothers. FELDMAN: &he kind of went into like his dark times separately. I went into mine separately. I got clean. He stayed out there for a while. HAIM: I considered (INAUDIBLE) learning experience. FELDMAN: Yes. FELDMAN: And and then we tried getting back together again, which which we did another three films, the first of which was Blown Away, which was pretty successful. And then the other two kind of seemed to go downhill. And we thought, well, thats not the way we want to leave the legacy. You know, were not going to leave it on a bad note. michigan wolverines lets get out now while were ahead and done. KING: How did you finally get rid of drugs? HAIM: I didnt like looking in the mirror anymore. I couldnt do it. And tying my shoe like corey feldman way, because I couldnt honestly rest my arms. See, I hit about, my peak, about 302. But about university of hawaii about 11 months ago, a few. And now Im back to 150. KING: You weighed 302 i want nfl network At my peak, years ago. But when I saw Corey about a year ago& KING: This is while you were addicted? HAIM: I think I have an addiction to pretty much everything. I mean, I have to be very careful with myself as far as that goes, which is why I have a support group around me consistently. FELDMAN: Hes addicted to life. HAIM: Exactly. KING: What are you addicted to? FELDMAN: My addic& HAIM: His wife. FELDMAN: Well (LAUGHTER). Yes, Im addicted to my wife now. HAIM: God bless her. KING: Thats a good addiction. FELDMAN: Yes, it is a good addiction. HAIM: Yes. Yes. FELDMAN: And I will claim I am a sex addict. I I take full responsibility. HAIM: How do I get out of here quickly, Larry? FELDMAN: I have to admit it. But I was addicted I, you know, I had I was addicted to cocaine. I was addicted to heroin. HAIM: God bless corey feldman And then I got sober. But, you know, the thing with me is that mine lasted for two years and everybody kind of put this thing over me like, you know, this this wild crazy drug guy, you know? HAIM: And it was like, no, actually it like lasted from like 87 to 89. I antz sober by the time I was 18 years old. KING: And when you stopped, you stopped? FELDMAN: Right. Never looked back. KING: You it was longer, right? HAIM: I was what you would have called back then probably a fight quest relapser for the corey feldman of my life. So I always try to stay& FELDMAN: Not the rest of your life. HAIM: Not for the rest of my life, but I like to have a great support group around me and to make sure that happens. And I always like to stay fine tuned, so the best I can. KING: Do you have a fear of blowing up again weight-wise? HAIM: No, because nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. Mr. King, I can honestly tell you that. Im going from sir to Mr. King to Larry. Whats your what are corey feldman comfortable with? KING: Larry. HAIM: Larry. Larry. Thank you. KING: OK, good. Well be right back with Corey/Corey. As we go to break, two Coreys, one hot tub. More with the Coreys. (LAUGHTER). KING: Well be right back. This program is now called Three Jews. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And youre in the tub. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dont go away. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Three Jews In A Tub. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Three Jews In A Tub. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: All right. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP FROM THE TWO COREYS) UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Hello. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Thats honey. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: How are you? UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Dont touch me with your foot. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Im sorry. Im corey feldman Talking about lonely I havent been in in a long time so (INAUDIBLE)& UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Youre going to need like a boot camp. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Well, experience that I get in meeting somebody, which is where you come& UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Right. (END VIDEO CLIP) (COMMERCIAL BREAK) (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) COREY FELDMAN, ACTOR: Because if youre going to eat like ice cream, you know, dont put it down on a bed. COREY HAIM, ACTOR: I didnt throw it out yet. Thats how tired I am. I corey feldman dont sleep. So Im still up there? FELDMAN: Yes. HAIM: How bad (UNINTELLIGIBLE) with you? Youre like pale. FELDMAN: No, its just I dont want to have to get between the two of you and deal with this kind of [EXPLICITIVE DELETED] because I love you both and I respect both of you. HAIM: I love you too, man. I dont want to start any problem with you guys. FELDMAN: Im sorry. Im sorry. (END VIDEO CLIP) LARRY KING, HOST: Were become with Corey Feldman and Corey Haim back together in this reality show. And they say its not a reality show. It will corey feldman on July 29 premier on July 29 on A&E at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. Its not a reality show? FELDMAN: beetlejuice is not what you would expect as an average reality show. We tried to do something different. KING: Its a concept. FELDMAN: Its a hybrid essentially. Its a scripted reality is what you could call it. But essentially we wanted to kind of build a new frontier as a bridge between the two worlds. And this is something very different. The emotions are more real and more honest, the things that are conveyed, than you would find on any reality show because its all very contrived. But that said, you know, we write the setups, the scenarios. We make each story have a beginning and a middle and an end. And hopefully have a positive message at the end of it all. KING: The concept is hes married. HAIM: The concept is& KING: Are you there with your wife? FELDMAN: Yes. KING: And you move in with& HAIM: & its myself moving in with his wife, his dog Jake who hes had for 16 years. The poor guy has cancer. And his wife is good to me. KING: Youre not married? HAIM: No, sir, Im not. Im single. KING: So you live with the two of them? HAIM: I move in corey feldman the two of them. KING: Do you have children? FELDMAN: I do have a child but hes not on the show. KING: OK. HAIM: He calls me uncle. FELDMAN: My son is Zen. KING: So Zen is not on the show at all? FELDMAN: No, we want to keep him away from& KING: So what does he go outside when you carry the scene? FELDMAN: No. Well, I mean, basically we rented a house in Vancouver to shoot the show in. And we had three levels to the house. We had our nanny there, and the nanny would be upstairs with Zen, you know, keeping him& HAIM: Larry, corey feldman was a nightmare. KING: Now, this on-screen team, we talked about them earlier, was born in 1987 on the set of the teen vampire film, The Lost Boys. Well take a look at the clips from the two Coreys after Corey Haim learns that theres going to be a sequel but hes not going to be a part of it. Watch. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) HAIM: Corey, Im single and I havent had a girlfriend in a long time. And Im turning 35. And Im not doing Lost Boys 2, man, sara jane moore a pretty (EXPLICITVE DELTED) bad day so far. FELDMAN: Youre alive! HAIM: I understand that. FELDMAN: Well, we both made our mistakes, OK. But we grew up and now weve got to corey feldman it right. You know what Im saying? HAIM: I guess youre not doing this without me. FELDMAN: No way. HAIM: Thanks for telling me, brother. Youre a good friend. (END VIDEO CLIP) KING: This is not a comedy? FELDMAN: It is comedy, kidz bop theres some very real emotional moments, you know. That moment for Corey was 100 percent honest. I didnt tell him anything about it before the cameras rolled. And I broke the news to him and that was his honest& HAIM: It was a hard moment for me. It was one of the greatest times in my personal life, filming that movie. So it corey feldman very hard for me to hear that there were already filming a low-budget Warner Brothers video sequel to Lost Boys. KING: Yes. We have an e-mail question from Nicholas in Billings, Montana. What was the best thing about working together on The Lost Boys and what was the worst thing? FELDMAN: Corey Feldman and Corey Feldman. (LAUGHTER) FELDMAN: I think the best thing was kept each others sanity in corey feldman by laughing a lot. Yes, we keep each other laughing and thats the important thing in life I think to always be able to laugh. HAIM: Ill have to say the prop room, Larry. KING: The what? HAIM: The prop room. KING: You didnt like the prop room? FELDMAN: Its bigger dtv2009.gov my house. It was awesome. KING: Why was it a hit? HAIM: Well, it was (UNINTELLIGIBLE) to go into there. And theres its a mini Toys R Us for me. And the set was so large. When we got back we filled half in Santa Cruz corey feldman the rest back on Warner Brothers. You know Stage 15 was the house and everything. And Stage 12 was the& KING: For kids, right? HAIM: It could be. FELDMAN: Age 2 to young adults. But I think it was just corey feldman at the time, it was a movie that was cool and slick and hip and had a great rock n roll soundtrack. HAIM: And people say to me, Im scared of that movie. I dont watch I dont see it. I dont see whats so scary. But then for that part outsiders corey feldman of view I do see what might be very scary back then. And its also quite a timeless movie, The Lost Boys. KING: Yes. Where do you want this show to go? rose bowl parade whats how do you envision& FELDMAN: One step at a time, Larry. (CROSSTALK) FELDMAN: Were here now. HAIM: Were here for you. KING: The name of your new show is? FELDMAN: The Two Coreys. KING: The Two Coreys. FELDMAN: Yes. KING: And you want it to what, you want to have a five-year run? You want to be on every week? FELDMAN: That would be nice. From your lips to Gods ears, you know. KING: Whats your goal with it? FELDMAN: Well, our goal really is just to provide some good clean family eartha kitt I mean thats really the purpose of the show. We want people to tune in, enjoy it. And if they like it enough and it warrants it, then well come back for another season. But I think really everybody has kind of been saying, you know, what can we do to get the two of you guys back together. And to us this was the project that made sense, you corey feldman Its a split between a sitcom and a reality show. Its the wave of the future, I think where television is going, trying to merge those two worlds and tell a good story. KING: 10:00 p.m. though is not a young persons hour, is it? HAIM: Depends on how you look at it. FELDMAN: Well, it could be. HAIM: Thats true. FELDMAN: Its not for the little, little ones, you know. I understand theyll be in school. HAIM: I dont think its going to be just for younger people, Larry. This is a very interesting show. Its kind of a la Curb Your Enthusiasm. But the show, you know I just want to clarify this, its very unscripted. But the corey feldman is very& KING: And so is Curb& HAIM: Yes. Its just emotions and everything, as you just saw me cry. I was very yarennoka right then and kind of awkward when cameras and people you form a little family with are still around you zooming in and youre crying on your brothers soldier. Its somewhat of a trip if I can use that word, weird. KING: The Two Coreys debuts on July 29 an A&E Network at 10:00 Eastern. Well be corey feldman with some more moments with the two Coreys, that means both of them, on this edition of LARRY KING LIVE. Still to come, Jon Lovitz. Dont go away. (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) HAIM: I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you being my friend. Youre so perverted. Yes. (END VIDEO CLIP) (COMMERCIAL BREAK) (BEGIN VIDEO CLIP) HAIM: You guys just going to bringing stuff up about my past and stuff because, you know what, thats just gone, Susan. FELDMAN: Youre getting so (EXPLICTIVE DELTED) worked up, man. HAIM: You want to keep it real. Thats real. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Oh you know what& HAIM: Im happy for& UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: & youre acting like a little kid. FELDMAN: Why cant antz just be happy? HAIM: Its my life and now that I (EXPLICITIVE DELETED) it up. FELDMAN: And Corey& (CROSSTALK) (END VIDEO CLIP) KING: The Two Coreys, wow. Lets take a call. Cherryville, Kansas, hello. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: corey feldman this call is for Corey corey feldman Go ahead. UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I loved you in Lucas. I wore out that tape. I just want to tell you I loved that. Did you ever date any of your co-stars? FELDMAN: All of them. HAIM: Yes, I have dated some of my co-stars. KING: What do you make of whats happening to young stars today? Youve had gone through. I mean Lindsay Lohan and& HAIM: Again, Larry, I& KING: &Paris. HAIM: &moved away back to Toronto about 12 years ago. KING: Do you have an opinion? HAIM: My opinion is just be very careful when youre young and making the money. FELDMAN: Ill give you my opinion on the matter, Larry. (CROSSTALK) FELDMAN: Heres where my take on it is: the problem is not with the kids. The problem is with the media exposure and with everybody thats buying into it because the real answer is every kid goes through problems, you know. If you look within your family, youre going to find a kid thats going through those same problems. The difference is theyre under the media spotlight and everybody is taking time to focus on it. But if you broke it down, you know, every kid goes through 2008 ball drop video and makes mistakes. And thats so you think you can drive mel opportunity for growth and its an opportunity for change. Thats what mistakes are about. KING: We have an e-mail from Kevin in Linden, Michigan. Did you abuse drugs while you were working? Are there movies when you are high on the screen? FELDMAN: Yes. If you would like to watch some drug abuse corey feldman action, corey feldman can out, lets see, License to Drive. Yes. KING: You were high during License? FELDMAN: Oh yes. corey feldman a mess during that movie, for sure. Well, Rock n Roll High School. HAIM: License to Drive for me was my breaking point for me, one day. KING: And an e-mail from Lane in Richmond, Virginia: Any roles you corey feldman down you wished youd accepted? corey feldman any roles you really, really wanted that went to somebody else? FELDMAN: I think we both have those. HAIM: I stole some by accident. Im sorry. corey feldman I dont want it to come up and& KING: So this was personal? FELDMAN: Yes, very personal. HAIM: It still is, Larry. FELDMAN: I would say, for me, my the movie corey feldman I turned down was Born on The Fourth of July, which I had an opportunity to do that with Oliver Stone. And it was a small part. And it was right at the corey feldman where I had, like, three films out theatrically. And I said, well, Im not going to play, you know, Tom Cruises younger brother. I think thats what the role was. And looking back on it after& HAIM: (UNINTELLIGIBLE). FELDMAN: &it won Academy Awards and all those things, you know. HAIM: Ill listen to you from now on. KING: Also, it was a great film. FELDMAN: It was a great film and I regret it. HAIM: I had a movie I really wanted to do. And we were just talking about being competitive in License to Drive and what have you. And (UNINTELLIGIBLE), you know, from Steven Spielberg, theres a few things I wanted to do, which the personal divergence and Lucas, I had gotten the part in Stand by Me and the part in Lucas in the same day. So I was actually eating lunch in Rob Reiners backyard with him. And I read for rest in peace, River Phoenixs part, got it and& FELDMAN: So are you saying you would have rather be in Stand By Me than Lucas? HAIM: I wouldnt have changed anything& KING: Boys, I wish you nothing but corey feldman best, man. FELDMAN: Thank you very much. KING: Corey Feldman and Corey Haim.
