The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.

It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare.
There were millions of ways that the world could kill me.
I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.
We are inclined to believe those whom we do not know because they have never deceived us.
Nothing is as simple as we hope it will be.
Never let the demands of tomorrow interfere with the pleasures and excitement of today.
Where facts are few, experts are many.

I can eat it anytime and anywhere.

I take it that what all men are really after is some form or perhaps only some formula of peace.
You can have it all. You just can't have it all at once.
I believe that every now and then it is important to laugh at ourselves and take a lighter approach to our life conditions.
My mother loved children -- she would have given anything if I had been one.

In America the word ?the movies? is often used.

Things are only impossible until they're not.
People were still cramming down the stairs, and more were squeezing past the turnstiles and down the escalators onto the platforms, but it was clear to me that this wasn't going to have a happy ending.
The cloning of humans is on most of the lists of things to worry about from Science, along with behaviour control, genetic engineering, transplanted heads, computer poetry and the unrestrained growth of plastic flowers.
A hobby a day keeps the doldrums away.
Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it.
