I have had several very good TVs in my life, but this one has blown me away. I got this one for the bedroom. The image is so perfect it just looks like one is right there, being part of the scene. The stereo surround sound is excellent even without any extra speakers. On HD channels the degree of perfection is such that it looks like one is watching a 3D movie. I just wish all channels were on HD. We have been with Dish Network for ten years and decided to upgrade to a new HDTV receiver. Out of a total of about 140 channels, we get some 40 or 42 HD channels, and those are the only ones I now watch. Since this HDTV arrived, I have even found myself watching certain uninteresting or silly movies that I would have never watched before. But with this HDTV even the stupidest movies seem attractive and serve the purpose of testing the excellent quality of the picture and the stereo surround sound on this tv. My laptop has blu-ray so I hooked the laptop to the TV to watch two blu-ray movies and both the image and the sound are also spectacular. On top of it, this TV has a beautiful design; it's the most elegant LCD HDTV I have seen. To me, this HDTV has it ALL. Boy, am I happy I got it!
I have aso fallen in love with the remote. It is the nicest, most user-friendly remote I have ever had, with big numbers and light too. As we are with Dish we need to use the Dish remote to switch channels, but I love this remote so I use it for everything else.

But when the LCD-LCD arrived, I quickly discovered that the backlighting technology has not been perfected. There were splotchy spots around the edges where the edge-lit backlighting was bleeding through the screen. I returned that TV immediately and went for this Panasonic instead.
I almost bought a cheaper S2 model, but after reading reviews online and looking at the different models at Sears, I could tell that the S2 just wasn't as crisp. All the videophiles said to go for the G25, so here I am.
I can say without a doubt that I LOVE this TV. The blacks are deep and smooth, the colors are vivid, the resolution is amazing. If anything, I only wish I had bought the 46" or 50" instead! I really don't understand why anyone would buy an LCD over a plasma, but I won't make that mistake again.

I compared this TV against a leading brand 32in LED at a local store and while this LED was slightly thicker and heavier, the colors on the screen were much brighter and facial features much more defined than the competition - and best of all its less expensive. The design is very modern - sharp lines, thin LED. It states Silver Grey in the description, but the bezel and stand are glossy black. I like it so well, I just ordered another one on Amazon.com!

We were seeing what turned out to be the motion of the worm gear switching between forward and reverse.
This little model is wonderful. It walks in forward and reverse and the head moves back and forth as it walks. I can easily see this being modified into other walking robots and it gives a great example of how rotational motion can be transformed into linear motion. Plus it's kinda cute. Pew pew

My only main beef with this set is the Audio Return Channel and Optical Out only send 2 channel (stereo) audio unless its source is broadcast.
