There are composers, and then there are the poets - artists who by magic melodies and words woven into masterpieces of three minutes on average to dwarf the painting, songs, numbers that often clog the airwaves. Dean Dillon is ehese past. The Tennessee native was intended to hitchhike to Nashville and carved its niche in country music and ended up being one of the most successful composers have set foot in the Music City. Rest previouslyDillon came when, at age 15, won a contest that got him a regular place in Star Jim Clayton Time Variety Show in Knoxville, TN. The singer and composer graduated from high school, and eleven days later, he went tobright lights of Nashville. The rest is history.
