SUBMISSION WRESTLING
Zagreb Open 3 - submission wrestling tournament under Stipe Pavičić and Zlatko Klarić of UFK Trešnjevka was held earlier today in Dugave, Zagreb. Matko Kvesić was named as the best fighter of the tournament. All in all it was a very good and well organized event, now we just have to wait for Zagreb Open 4.

BOXING
Croatian female boxer (though she's better known as kickboxer) Kornelija Numić - "The Lioness" scored her first victory in the pro-ring last night in Tampa (Fla/USA) against american Jenna Shiver by judge decision. That was their 2nd fight (and 2nd pro-fight of Numić) and first one ended with the draw.

Igrc/Mučnjak fight will definately build up the hype not only about Nokaut HW belt tournament, but in local mma scene in general. This will be the first serious test for Mučnjak, and also Igrc never faced anyone with Mučnjak size, plus there were some bad blood between both fighters teams/promotors.

Cro Cop Update
Slaven Vujić of Cro Cop Team had an opportunity to talk to Mirko Cro Cop Filipović yesterday morning - Mirko expected that Pride would give him another opponent from his weight class and not Minowa, but weight difference is Minowa's problem not mine - Mirko said, and added: You can't underestimate anyone who will enter the Pride FC OWGP
According to Vujić - Cro Cop's main goal is to reach the Finals - and then; anything is possible...
