Snowflake midnight seems to fall down from space to earth, lyrics are so eternal here, every song sounds delicious and something that you've never tasted before. Intsrumental sections from time to time perfectly matches with latter vocals, pianos and experimental ambience. Born on May 20th, 1941, in Montenegro, Janko Nilovic began his formal musical training at the age of five. Although an heir to the Slavic and Balkan tradition, he never set aside the more modern styles of jazz, soul and pop, an open-mindedness which also led him to try his luck in Paris in 1960 (where he still lives). Working ten hours a day with a never-faltering persistance, Janko swiftly joined the professional circles, adding up sessions, joys and disappointments. Nilovic produced more than thirty albums for record companies that specialised in Library Music. Both Impressions Volume 1 and Volume 2 prove how broad Janko's field of activity can be, how developed was his capacity to digest and to merge his multiple influences and create this timeless language. Sigur Rós: "Gobbledigook" [Video/MP3]
 As reported, the video and mp3 of new Sigur Rós track "Gobbledigook" are up at the band's site. Riffing on the album cover, the clip (which looks pretty amazing at first glance) features nude people frolicking in the great outdoors (NSFW), and it appears as though you need to give an e-mail address to get the mp3. As to the song, maybe they've been listening to a bit of Animal Collective? It's certainly got a tribal acoustic folk thing happening, anyway. Video Here |
