Lonely Planet: Croatia among the 10 most desirable destinations in Europe

Lonely Planet, the world's most popular travel site and a leading publisher of travel guides, who for 40 years has led the passengers in the most remote corners of the world, published a top 10 list of European destinations that also included Croatia. Have put together a list of the editors of Lonely Planet from America and Britain, and includes destinations that are considered to be passengers certainly must visit.

Croatia was thus in the company of countries like Portugal, Hungary, Italy, the Czech Republic and France. Andy Murdoch, editor of Lonely Planet, in addition to already known and attractive coastline, especially recommended for travelers these places: Zagreb, Dubrovnik, national parks and charming continental Croatian. Croatia is recognized as an established destination for Europeans and destination that is recently becoming more popular in the U.S. market, from which the first five months of this year increased tourist traffic in arrivals and overnight stays by 20 percent.

Proof that Croatia has become more interesting tourist destination for Americans clearly confirms interest in many important American media, who wrote or published reports on Croatia, as well as a significant increase in the interest of the tour, who want to include Croatia in their brochures for the next season. It is particularly interesting that the Americans, except for a long recognizable Dubrovnik, more visited Zagreb, and from recent interest in them and place not only along the coast but also inland Croatian. American tourists, besides the well-purchasing and everywhere desired clientele, love to travel off-season, and thus far expressed interest in the potential of this market is of great importance for the further development of Croatian tourism.
