WIRELESS MICROPHONES FOR VIDEO CAMERAS. VPN WIRELESS ROUTER REVIEW. LAPTOP DOESN T SEE WIRELESS NETWORK.
Wireless Microphones For Video Cameras
- (Wireless Microphone) A system that transmits audio signals over the air, rather than through microphone cables. The mic is attached to a small transmitter, and the signals are received by a small receiver connected to the VTR or camera.
- A wireless microphone, as the name implies, is a microphone without a physical cable connecting it directly to the sound recording or amplifying equipment with which it is associated.
- A video camera is a camera used for electronic motion picture acquisition, initially developed by the television industry but now common in other applications as well.
- A camera for recording images on videotape or for transmitting them to a monitor screen
- (video camera) A camera that records onto digital or videotape.
- (Video Camera) This application allows you to capture and play back moving images through your mobile phone.
Recorder and Teleprompter
My recording setup. Since I was doing the video project alone, I didn't have anyone to help me out during the recording. Everything had to be either self-sufficient or within immediate reach (without being visible or visibly used).
My HDR-HC7 recorded HD directly to my computer through IEEE-1394 (Firewire/iLink) as M2T files. I used an Ultra-wide-angle lens to capture more. The fisheye distortion was edited post-production.
I borrowed a laptop from a friend and used a opened up my script as a Word document for a makeshift teleprompter. I increased the magnification so that I could easily read it, and attached an optical scroll mouse to the computer so that I could scroll down the document while speaking during recording.
I used a Sony wireless microphone to (mostly) eliminate the sound of my computer and the house.
I used an Audiovox personal LCD TV as a monitor to set up the frame.

BACKHAUL WIRELESS. WIRELESS
Backhaul wireless. Wvc54g wireless g internet video camera. Engenius wireless.
Backhaul Wireless
- Carry (freight) on a return journey
- In the context of broadcasting, backhaul refers to uncut program content that is transmitted point-to-point to an individual television station or radio station, broadcast network or other receiving entity where it will be integrated into a finished TV show or radio show.
- In a hierarchical telecommunications network the backhaul portion of the network comprises the intermediate links between the core network, or backbone, of the network and the small subnetworks at the "edge" of the entire hierarchical network.
- A vehicle's return trip
- radio: medium for communication
- Lacking or not requiring wires
- having no wires; "a wireless security system"
- transmission by radio waves
Sprint 4G backhaul
While most of the entire building was taken up by Nextel network equipment, there is also a space for the 4G network equipment, although all of the 4G backhaul equipment for this cell site is contained in these two gray cabinets.
Basically, as the wireless industry has advanced, each generation of wireless network equipment takes up dramatically less space. The equipment also uses substantially less energy.
Sprint backhaul equipment
The space taken up by the Sprint 3G equipment is about half of what Nextel's 2G equipment use. The 4G equipment uses half the space of the 3G equipment.
So basically, every time you add a G (generation), you cut your space in half.

FRITZ!Box ADSL2+ specs, t-home DSL service (16/1Mbit down/up)
ADSL2+ synced @:
17,7Mbit/sec downstream
1.18Mbit/sec upstream
theoretical max. speed of the line to the exchange is close to 20Mbit, but my contract is for 16Mbit, the maximum speed for DSL right now.... the FTTC linbes t-home sells top out @ 50Mbit down, 10Mbit up... but then copper is only used from the home to the curb, and fiber optics to the exchange... right now everything is copper.... i could switch, but it would cost me €30,00/month more.... €20,00 for 25/5Mbit FTTC, or VDSL as t-home calls it...
my mac tops out @ approx. 2.0Mbyte/sec via 802.11g wifi...
iPhone 2G wifi speedtest @ 16Mbit ADSL2+ Line
approx. 8.5Mbit/sec (1Mbyte/sec) throughput.... not to bad... on my mac i get the full 16-17Mbit/sec when nothing else is using the ADSL2+ connection. the connection itself is synced @ 17Mbit, and theoretically capable of 20Mbit, but t-home (t-com company) only syncs @ 17Mbit!
the speedtest is the best i know for western europe (A/CH/D/F/BE/NL) tools.aon.at
best and most reliable backbone. it loads a 1MByte text in the background.
i get better results than that, but i'm downloading stuff via bittorrent and another mac is doing something in the background...

SMALLEST WIRELESS ACCESS POINT : ACCESS POINT
Smallest Wireless Access Point : My Laptop Keeps Losing Wireless Connection : Standard Wireless Multimedia Keyboard.
Smallest Wireless Access Point
- Not great in amount, number, strength, or power
- Of a size that is less than normal or usual
- Find smallest item after removing deleted items from front of heap.
- Not fully grown or developed; young
- Direct someone's attention to the position or direction of something, typically by extending one's finger
- a geometric element that has position but no extension; "a point is defined by its coordinates"
- indicate: indicate a place, direction, person, or thing; either spatially or figuratively; "I showed the customer the glove section"; "He pointed to the empty parking space"; "he indicated his opponents"
- orient: be oriented; "The weather vane points North"; "the dancers toes pointed outward"
- Indicate a particular time, direction, or reading
- Direct or aim (something) at someone or something
Size
To give you an idea of how the big the E583C is, I've included some of my "smaller" gadgets (and the iPad)
(Picture's missing my 1st-gen Nano)
In fairness, I don't use a lot of these anymore... they're just back in their boxes (in case they can become collectors items)
- I use the iPad, and most recent iPhone.
- I got the iPod classic specifically for the car - so it usually stays there
- I use the iPod Touch if I want to walk around with an iPod - which, you'll be surprised to know, doesn't happen often.
But for the most part, I usually will only be having 3 gadgets on my person at any given time: iPad, iPhone, and E583C. Which is pretty reasonable considering a lot of people in the Philippines usually have more than one phone and an iPod.

In the Qabalistic system of Crowley, the Abyss contains the 11th (hidden) sephira, Da'ath, which separates the lower sephiroth from the supernals. This account derives from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's view of Genesis, in which Da'ath represents the fall of man from a unified consciousness into a duality between ego and divine nature. The Abyss is guarded by the demon Choronzon, who manifests during the third, ceremonial method of crossing this gulf. He represents those parts of one's consciousness and unconsciousness -- "a momentary unity capable of sensation and of expression," in Crowley's terms -- that are unwilling or unable to enter the Divine.

Strobist: Bye Bye PT-04, Hello RF-602
So! finally got a "full" set of YongNuo RF-602, been doing some small test (haven't try it in the field yet)
SPEC:
- 2.4GHz Frequency communication
-100m unobstructed range
- 16 channels
- wake up feature
- can also function as camera remote
But here's what i feel so far:
- Great range.. tested to trigger in my apartment on 25th floor, trigger across the street on ground floor and it WORKED!
-5D sync at full speed, 1/200. 400D, i can sync at 1/250 with VERY LITTLE black curtain.
- 16 channels.. always good!
- Good build quality.
- if they use some more common parts for connectors, i would be more happy.. i can't find that 3pin connector in the electronic parts mall in shanghai.
- work fine with all my flash so far
- complain is, if they can put a tightening knob for the trigger. would be nice..
This little guy will definately give a big impact to the traditional pocket wizard. especially it only cost 180RMB per pair!
and on the other notes... I NEED A TIGHTER GRID SPOT!!!!!!!
Strobist info: YN460 on RF-602 at 1/4 with grid spot, camera left top pointing down. 430EX on RF602 bounce of the celling at 1/4 camera right behind for little bit of fill so we can still see "PT-04". I was going to use the window light for fill. but i have ugly curtain and outdoor view.. shot at ISO100 f/13

The joystick panel.
I also have a wireless keyboard and mouse to control the PC itself.
This panel is a whole new sheet of pine board cut to size and bevelled to fit, then finished with a laminate surface (for the best black gloss effect). The original was in such a mess it was rotting, and the button/joystick layout was not to my liking anyway.
Notice the 3 buttons per player are black, one is yellow. I only got 3 buttons in the pack, so I used two of the original Rygar buttons too - a kind of tribute to what it was, if you will!
In this photo you can see my homebuilt WiiMote sensorbar too - the aluminium bar behind the glass.
