If nothing is done about it, one million species that are alive today will have become extinct twenty years from now.

Most of the basic truths of life sound absurd at first hearing.
The release of atomic energy has not created a new problem. It has merely made more urgent the necessity of solving an existing one.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
Never let the demands of tomorrow interfere with the pleasures and excitement of today.
The problem is never how to get new, innovative thoughts into your mind, but how to get old ones out. Every mind is a building filled with archaic furniture. Clean out a corner of your mind and creativity will instantly fill it.
Love is, above all else, the gift of oneself.
Nothing is as certain as that the vices of leisure are gotten rid of by being busy.
