HP Compaq Review

HP Compaq Review

1

The 14.1" HP Compaq laptop battery is one of the latest professional line portable business notebooks currently being offered by HP.  The 6910p is much like the smaller 12.1" screen HP 2510p we recently reviewed in terms of looks, but of course this larger notebook packs more power. The 6910p starts at a reasonable price of $1,199 with a basic configuration that includes the Intel Core 2 Duo (Santa Rosa) processor.

The 6910p is squarely in the business notebook category, this means there is no sacrifice made when it comes to security and communications features you'd want to have as a business person. Our review model has integrated Verizon EV-DO and you can get 802.11n for faster wireless. There's a fingerprint reader for biometric security and it offers a TPM integrated security chip. The 6910p, being a business notebook, is designed so that it can share a common image with other HP Compaq laptop battery if an IT department is standardizing on this brand. Furthermore, it offers Intel Centrino Pro so IT managers can remotely do such things as security updates to users machines.

The overall build quality of the HP Compaq laptop battery is very good. A latch is used to hold the screen down when stowed, I really like the rubber gripped latch opener because it's easy to feel and find without looking down at the notebook and easy to operate. There's no fiddling to open the screen. The screen has rubber stoppers around it to prevent the screen from slamming into the keyboard when you close it.

The good: Sturdy construction; strong components for the price; choice of glossy or antiglare display; integrated EV-DO or HSDPA wireless; Trusted Platform Module and smart-card slot; great-sounding speakers.

The bad: Average performance; somewhat heavy travel weight thanks to AC adapter; lacks an ExpressCard slot.

The bottom line: Small businesses on tight budgets take note: The HP Compaq laptop battery laptop offers enterprise-level features and decent performance at a price that's lower than the competition.

Like most business laptops, the HP Compaq 6910p comes with a three-year warranty that includes toll-free, 24-7 phone support and return-to-depot service. An upgrade to three years of onsite service costs $129. The company rounds out its service and support with a solid online help site that integrates a user forum and real-time chat with a tech-support representative.

Review:Acer laptop Aspire S7

Review:Acer laptop Aspire S7

As we all know,Acer is a great company of notebook.

Products crosses my desk regularly. Some are great, some not, and most are in between. It is an advantage, no doubt, but review products often not work for me. From case to case, often the products I'm target different market segments than mine. It is not the case for Acer laptop battery.

The tangible classy ultrabook goes straight into the road-warrior, power-hungry, super-user. S7 is an expensive machine. The starting price is close to $ 1,400, but our Core i7 watches specifications set at $ 1650. Price For customers not see a spec sheet superlative and well-crafted body. I know what you're thinking. S7 better be great for that kind of money. Do not worry, with some qualifiers, Aspire S7 is easily among the top 8 teams in Windows. Is it enough to justify the cost?

Available in white Gorilla ® Glass 2 or aluminum elegant, Aspire Ultrabook ™ S7 series is beautiful and smart. Its touch screen Full HD invites you to be social, get things done and have fun. Auto Brightness illuminates.1 perfect keyboard for comfortable use in dark locations while cooling TwinAir Acer laptop battery makes this a pleasure to hold.

The thin, Acer laptop battery first sensation was one of the first Windows 8 laptops I've spent a considerable amount of time in the weeks before the official release of Windows 8 My colleagues and I agreed at the time that this portable 13-inch touch screen was an excellent advertisement for the new Microsoft operating system, but our demonstration unit preproduction hardware, and are not ready to test reference. Now with a version prepared for human consumption in the same machine in hand, we report the performance and results of the test battery life and gives this excellent laptop a number of rooms.

In practical use, it felt Acer laptop battery is identical to the pre-production sample of October 2012. Like many laptops and portable hybrid / convertible tablet we've reviewed recently, the Aspire S7 a new ultrabook-the-ground-up, rather than a product of the existing Windows 7 updated with new software. S7 is also one of the thinnest and most polished appearance ultrabooks I've seen, highlighted by a white minimalist chassis and a lid covered with Gorilla Glass (like the HP Envy Spectre). Inside is an Intel Core i7 CPU and is something that has become common in laptops Windows 8: a touch screen, built on a 13.3-inch 1,920 x1 0.080-pixel screen.

Review:Toshiba laptop libretto

Review:Toshiba laptop libretto

The Libretto is a line of subnotebook computers designed and produced by Toshiba laptop battery

. The line was distinguished by its combination of functionality and small size, squeezing a full Windows PC into a device the size of a Paperback book. The first Libretto model, the Libretto 20, was released on April 17, 1996 (in Japan only), with a volume of 821 cmł and weighing just 840 g, making it by far, the worlds smallest commercially available Windows PC at the time, and a trend the Libretto Range continued for many years. The original Libretto line was discontinued in Europe and the U.S. in 1999, but the production continued in Japan with the SS, FF and then the L series until 2002. The first L series Libretto (The L1) was released on the 18th May 2001 (in Japan only) and the last (The L5) just 11 Months later on the 24th April 2002. Production of all Librettos ceased from 2002 until the release of the Libretto U100 in 2005.

There have been many different models. The first Libretto models, the L20 & L30 used 486 processors from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and were only available in Japan (Although the L30 was also assembled and Marketed in South Korea under the Comos Brand name). Beginning with the Libretto 50, Toshiba laptop battery

used the Intel Pentium and later Pentium MMX processors. With the introduction of the L series in 2001, a move was made to the Transmeta Crusoe processor. The U100 of 2005 saw a return to Intel with the use of the Pentium M processor.

I first saw a Toshiba laptop battery

Libretto 20 in August of 1996, and knew I had to have one to replace my aging Toshiba laptop battery

T4600 laptop. At that time Toshbia did not offer the Libretto in the US market. In the spring of 1997, T-Zone opened a store in Sunnyvale, and offered the Japanese Libretto 50 for sale.

Barely larger than a VHS tape, and weighing less than 2 pounds, the Libretto 50 has:

Pentium 75

16M of EDO DRAM (expandable to 32M)

810M hard disk

6.1 inch active matrix color LCD (640x480, up to 16 million colors)

SoundBlaster Pro compatible 16 bit stereo sound (output only)

one PCMCIA slot

Toshiba laptop battery

Corporation today announced the introduction of the world's first mini-notebook personal computer to combine super-small dimensions and light weight with the power and capabilities of a fully-featured design running Windows 95 and its application software. The new notebook PC, Libretto 20, is available from today, in the Japanese market only.

Libretto 20, is only 210mm x 115mm x 34mm and weighs in as a super- featherweight at approximately 840g, yet it incorporates a 65,536 color 6.1-inch TFT color LCD, an 88-key keyboard, a newly designed pointing device, a high-capacity lithium-ion secondary battery and super-thin hard disk drive. Microsoft Windows 95 is pre-installed, giving users access to the vast MS-DOS and Windows libraries of application software. Key business application software, including Microsoft Works for Windows 95 and Lotus Organizer R2.1J, is also pre-installed.

1. The Libretto 20 was about one-third the size of an A4 page (210 x 115 x 34 mm) and weighed about 840 grams thanks to the inclusion of high-performance LSI chips and an ultra-slim hard drive. This made the Libretto 20 the world’s smallest and lightest computer running Microsoft Windows 95.

2. The Toshiba laptop battery offered the same operating environment as a standard notebook with a new pointing device (the Aqu Point stick) and an 88-key keyboard (with a 13 mm key pitch) that was functionally compatible with the OADG DOS/V 106-key keyboard, the standard on DOS/V computers.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev charged with using ‘weapon of mass destruction’

Federal prosecutors charged the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings with terrorism on Monday, outlining a chilling plot in which the man and his brother allegedly used low-grade but deadly explosives timed to detonate a block apart.

As he lay seriously injured in a Boston area hospital, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was charged with using a weapon of mass destruction and malicious destruction of property, counts that could bring him the death penalty. He made his first court appearance in an unusual, non-public proceeding in which a federal judge and several lawyers went to his hospital bed.

The toll from the bombings, according to court documents and interviews on Monday, could have been far higher. Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan, 26, who was killed Friday after a firefight with police, had a homemade arsenal of explosives. Some law enforcement officials said they think the brothers were planning more attacks.

The pair also apparently had no escape plan. The FBI found in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s college dorm room what appeared to be the same black jacket and white hat he wore on the day of the attack, court documents said.

As the legal machinery began moving, the rituals of recovery continued in Boston. Near the marathon finish line, where three people were killed and more than 200 injured, residents and office workers poured out of buildings on Monday for a moment of silence at the same time the bombings occurred one week ago.

When the clock reached 2:50 p.m., hundreds of people — standing on sidewalks, street corners and building steps — froze in place. Even some cars stopped moving, ignoring green lights until cabs honked for them to move. Some people wiped away tears; others hugged.

Within five minutes, the buzz of life again hit the streets. Yet earlier in the day, the atmosphere was equally solemn in a quiet Boston suburb as people came together to mourn Krystle Campbell, a 29-year-old restaurant manager, in the first funeral for a bombing victim. Firefighters, members of the Guardian Angels and motorcyclists joined Campbell’s high school classmates and others, the mourners dressed mostly in black and standing quietly in a cold wind.

The criminal complaint against Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, filed in U.S. District Court in Boston, ended a debate over how one of the first successful terrorist attacks on the U.S. homeland since Sept. 11, 2001, should be handled. Some congressional Republicans had insisted that Tsarnaev be designated an “enemy combatant,’’ which would enable the government to charge him under the laws of war in a military commission or to hold him indefinitely.

How to Stay Sharp While Traveling for Business

If you’re constantly on the go, you know just how tiring and stressful business travel can be. If you aren’t careful, you can find yourself burned out while on the road. Needless to say, that’s not good for you or your business.

So, what can you do to make sure you stay sharp while constantly traveling for business? Here are some tips that will keep your mind sharp and your body refreshed while you’re on the road.

Eat right—When you’re constantly running, it’s easy to fall into the habit of grabbing some fast food or munching on some snacks. While this might satisfy your hunger, it won’t give you the energy you need to keep performing at a high level. In fact, it does the complete opposite.

That’s why it’s so important to eat right when you’re traveling. Make sure you enjoy plenty of fruits and vegetables as these are great brain foods that keep your mind sharp. You should also limit the sodas you drink, and make sure to drink plenty of water, as a hydrated body is more energetic.

Give yourself time to rest off the plane—A lot of travelers make the mistake of just trying to catch a little bit of sleep during the flight. A quick nap on the plane won’t recharge your body like a good night’s sleep in an actual bed will. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep at home (or in your hotel) before you get on your flight. This way, you can devote the time on the flight to other tasks, and you won’t get off the plane looking like you just rolled out of bed.

Get rid of the clutter—If you travel a lot, it can be easy for your briefcase to start filling up with a bunch of papers, folders, CDs, and other junk. Physical clutter leads to a cluttered mind. It causes you to be disorganized and stressed out. So, before you travel, take the time to clean out your briefcase, getting rid of anything you won’t need for your trip.
Replace papers with digital documents—This goes hand-in-hand with the last tip. Reduce your clutter by replacing papers with digital documents whenever possible. You can store a lot of information on a tiny USB drive, saving you space and helping you stay more organized.

Read a book—Reading stimulates the mind. It’s like a mental workout. It also allows you to kind of get away from the real world for a little while, taking your mind off the things that are stressing you out. Spending a little time during your flight reading a book can strengthen your mind and make the flight go by a little faster.
Engage in a conversation—Brain fitness experts also say that interacting with others stimulates the brain and keeps it sharp. So, while you’re on your flight, you might try striking up a conversation with one of your neighbors. This will keep your mind sharp, and you could even make a new friend or a business contact.

Just Give Me A Reason

Right from the start, you were a thief,
You stole my heart and
I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty.
And with every touch
You fixed them.
Now, you've been talking in your sleep
Oh oh, things you never say to ME
Oh oh, tell me that you've had enough
Of out Love, our Love.

Just give me a reason,
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second, we're not broken
Just bent we can learn to LOVE again.
Oh, it's in the stars,
It's been written in the scars on our hearts
We're NOT broken
Just bent and we can learn to love again.

I'm sorry I don't understand where
All of these is coming from.
I thought that we were fine,
(Oh, we had everything)
Your head is running wild again
My dear, WE still have everything
And it's all in your MIND.
(Yeah, but this is happenin')
You've been having real bad dreams
Oh oh, used to lie so close to me
Oh oh, there's nothing more than empty sheets
Between our love, our love
Ooooh, our love, our love.

Just give me a reason,
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second, we're not broken
Just bent we can learn to LOVE again.
Oh, I never stopped
It's still written in the scars on my heart
You're NOT broken
Just bent and we can learn to love again.

Oh, tear ducts and rust
I'll fix it for us
We're collecting dust,
But our love's enough.
You're holding it in,
You're pouring a drink
No, nothing is as bad as it seems.
We'll come clean!

Just give me a reason,
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second, we're not broken
Just bent and we can learn to LOVE again.
Oh, it's in the stars
It's still written in the scars on our hearts
We're NOT broken
Just bent and we can learn to love again.

Just give me a reason,
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second, we're not broken
Just bent and we can learn to LOVE again.
Oh, it's in the stars
It's still written in the scars on our hearts
We're NOT broken
Just bent and we can learn to love again.

Ooh, we can learn to love again
Ooh, we can learn to love again
Oh, that we're not broken
Just bent and we can learn to love again

Margaret Thatcher funeral: thousands line streets to witness final journey

Lady Thatcher, Britain's first female prime minister, was borne to St Paul's Cathedral for a ceremonial funeral as thousands lined central London's streets to witness her final journey.

With full military honours, the coffin bearing the body of one of Britain's most divisive politicians of modern times was escorted by members of all three armed forces to a service before a congregation of 2,300 from across the globe and led by the Queen.

Although not officially a state funeral, as accorded to Sir Winston Churchill, the event was conducted with a level of pomp and ceremony not witnessed in London since the death of the Queen Mother in 2002.

Her children, Sir Mark Thatcher and his twin sister Carol, and her American grandchildren, Michael and Amanda, listened as the bishop of London, acknowledging the bitter debate over her legacy, said this was not the time or place for such matters.

In a powerful address, the Right Rev Richard Chartres, a friend of Thatcher, who died last week aged 87 following a stroke, defended her and firmly rejected the assertion that she did not believe in society. She had overcome hurdles and experienced many rebuffs, and applied herself to work with "formidable energy and passion", he said.

"Her later remark about there being no such thing as 'society' has been misunderstood and refers to some impersonal entity to which we are tempted to surrender our independence," he said.

Acknowledging her as a polarising figure, he told the congregation: "After the storm of a life led in the heat of political controversy, there is a great calm.

"The storm of conflicting opinions centres on the Mrs Thatcher who became a symbolic figure – even an 'ism'."

"Today the remains of the real Margaret Hilda Thatcher are here at her funeral service. Lying here, she is one of us, subject to the common destiny of all human beings." He continued: "There is an important place for debating policies and legacy; for assessing the impact of political decisions on the everyday lives of individuals and communities. Parliament held a frank debate last week – but here and today is neither the time nor the place."

Here, at the funeral service, devoid of eulogies at Thatcher's own request, was a place "for the simple truths which transcend political debate. Above all it is a place for hope."

Earlier, the longest-serving prime minister of the 20th century had left parliament for the last time as a hearse took her body from the crypt chapel of St Mary Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster, where it rested last night, to the RAF church of St Clement Danes in the Strand.

There was gentle clapping as the cortege, with police motorcycle escort, drove slowly through cordoned-off streets. Big Ben fell silent. The cortege made its way went past the gates of Downing Street, her home for the 11 tumultuous years she held power and which she said goodbye to almost a quarter of a century ago, past Trafalgar Square, scene of the bitter poll tax demonstrations, and into the Strand. Union flags and the national flags of the UK were lowered to half mast.

The crowds were deep, and for the most part supportive. But there was booing, too. At Ludgate Circus, where several hundred protesters turned their backs on the coffin, there was a highly charged atmosphere with chanting of "what a waste of money" and "Tory scum", as heated exchanges broke out between demonstrators and Thatcher supporters.

The prime minister, David Cameron, had said the funeral was a "fitting tribute" to a major national figure, and urged the Iron Lady's political opponents to show respect during the event.

At St Clement Danes, prayers were said as the coffin – draped in a union flag with a simple wreath of white flowers with the handwritten tribute: "Beloved mother. Always in our hearts" – was transferred to a gun carriage of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, its steel wheels changed to rubber to muffle the noise.

The carriage and procession made its measured way at 70 steps per minute, military drum beats keeping precise pace, and the band of HM Royal Marines playing funeral marches by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Chopin.

The route was lined by members of all three services in full ceremonial day dress, officers wearing black armbands, with colours draped and rifle muzzles pointed downwards as a mark of respect. Her escort reunited her with units linked to the Falklands war, a victory she believed among her greatest accomplishments.

A gun salute fired at one-minute intervals from the Tower of London, as a single half-muffled bell at St Paul's tolled.

The eight pall-bearers who carried the casket into the cathedral were drawn from army units, Royal Navy ships and RAF stations with links to the Falklands war, commanded by Major Nick Mott of the Welsh Guards who served in the 1982 conflict.

Thatcher's grandchildren, Michael and Amanda, walked ahead of the coffin as it entered the cathedral, carrying cushions bearing the insignia of the Order of the Garter and Order of Merit, which were laid on the altar.

The national anthem heralded the arrival of the Queen at St Paul's at 10.45am, her presence elevating Thatcher's ceremonial funeral to that of state funeral in all but name. It was the first time she has attended the funeral of one of her prime ministers since Sir Winston Churchill's state funeral in 1965.

She was welcomed by the lord mayor of the City of London, Roger Gifford, the archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, and Chartres.

Giving the bidding, the dean of St Paul's said the congregation was gathered to remember Margaret Hilda Thatcher, and commend her into God's hands.

"We recall with great gratitude her leadership of this nation, her courage, her steadfastness, and her resolve to accomplish what she believed to be right for the common good."

The service, planned many years ago in consultation with Thatcher, and with her relatives since, was traditional and simple.

Thatcher chose the hymns He Who Would Valiant Be, the Charles Wesley hymn Love Divine, All Loves Excelling, reflecting the influence of her Methodist upbringing, and the patriotic verse I Vow to Thee My Country.

The organ played Psalm 84, set to the music of Johannes Brahms, which is the same piece Thatcher chose to be played at the funeral of her husband, Sir Denis Thatcher, in 2003. Thatcher's American granddaughter, Amanda, 19, read from the King James Bible, Ephesians 6, 10-18, while Cameron gave the second reading, John 14, 1-6.

Inside, politicians past and present, friends and erstwhile political foes joined together.

Three former prime ministers – John Major, Thatcher's Tory successor, and the Labour leaders Tony Blair and Gordon Brown – took their seats beneath the 111-metre dome.

A wide section of society was reflected in the guest list, including the broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan, the Welsh classical singer Katherine Jenkins and the Duchess of York, former wife of the Queen's second son.

Dignitaries were drawn from 170 countries, including 11 serving prime ministers and 17 serving foreign ministers. Sir Geoffrey Howe, Thatcher's ex-chancellor who many believe played a significant role in her eventual political downfall, was in attendance, as well as the current chancellor, George Osborne, the Tory grandee Ken Clarke, the London mayor, Boris Johnson, the Labour leader, Ed Miliband, and the deputy prime minister, Nick Clegg.

Johnson said outside: "Even for her fans and supporters like me, I don't think we expected to see quite so many people turn up to show their affection and their respect for Margaret Thatcher. It is a quite astonishing crowd."

The Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude, who has led government preparations for the event, insisted the cost would be "much, much less" than the reported figure of Ł10m, but no official estimate has yet been released.

After the funeral up to 1,600 family members, friends and dignitaries were attending a reception at the City of London's Guildhall.

Thatcher's closest family and cabinet members were expected to arrive after a separate reception for foreign dignitaries at nearby Mansion House.

At the conclusion of the service, the coffin was borne out of the cathedral and returned to a hearse that will take it to the Royal Hospital Chelsea before a private cremation at Mortlake Crematorium in south-west London.

Happy Dog

I’m a happy dog at the beach
If I had the power of speech
I would tell you all
To throw my ball
I’m a happy dog at the beach

I’m a happy dog at the beach
There are no new tricks you can teach
I’m bouncy and glad
And my tail wags like mad
I’m a happy dog at the beach

I’m a happy dog at the beach
My joy is always in reach
Whatever the talk
It’s the best place to walk
I’m a happy dog at the beach

I’m a happy dog at the beach
As I hear the seagulls screech
I chase and I bark
Long into the dark
I’m a happy dog at the beach

I’m a happy dog at the beach
And I don’t want to start to preach
But if you ask me
The best thing to see
Is a happy dog at the beach

Awe-inspiring Wildlife Photography by Francesco Tosi

Francesco Tosi is an awe-inspiring 38 years old Wildlife Photographer capturing the most beautiful wildlife moments by his camera. In spite of his passion for photography has revealed only in middle age, he can say that he was in the photography world since his birth.

He grew up with his father who was never leaving home without his camera. He began to learn the technical fundamentals, though when he was young he selected performing other forms of artistic expression, especially music.

The casual discover of digital photography has been the stimulus for me to both cultivate some form of expression and the desire to travel and learn about different cultures. Technically he is a self-taught. Probably his photos are not the result of a sophisticated stylistic research, but he is just trying to ensure that they can tell stories.

A big help to his growth was certainly the support of various artistic online community from which I have had the first positive results, first of all deviantART. He is on Deviant Art from about 5 years and uploaded about 1814 Photographs. He is a photographer on different sites like flickr, deviant art etc..

Take a look and decide it’s a beautiful and share your precious comments in comment box.

How to Use Your Emotions as a Guidance System to Happiness

Few people are more successful than Richard Branson, owner of a vast network of companies covering virtually every industry imaginable, from travel and health to banking, entertainment and even space exploration. One thing seems to make Branson stand out from the (small) crowd of the super rich and super successful – his enthusiasm and ‘joie de vivre.’ Could this be the secret of his success?

If you are enjoying yourself, doing what you love and feeling great about it, you are more likely to do well. This is the place where you lose yourself, become one with what you are doing – you are ‘in the zone.’ If you are bored, unhappy or self-conscious, then things are not likely to go so well.

It can be very helpful to regard your emotions as a kind of navigation system. You can interpret feeling bad as something being wrong and in need of correction. Feeling good, on the other hand, is a sign that all is well. So feeling good becomes an important indicator of your psychological well being, and making yourself feel better is an important skill to develop.

First, and most importantly, you do need to believe that you can make a difference to the way you feel. You really are in control. This can be hard to accept when you’re feeling really bad, but if you cannot accept this, you won’t get any better.

Second, remember that it shouldn’t be a struggle – feeling good should be an easy, natural thing, and you should experience it all the time. It’s your ‘default state’, and the only reason that feeling bad seems so normal is because you’ve been doing it for so long.

Many people focus habitually on the negative side of things and whatever situation they find themselves in they complain and find fault. There are always things you can find fault with, and there are always things you can be happy about – it’s all a question of where you put your focus.

Things are never ‘good’ or ‘bad’ in themselves.
It all depends on how we see them.

Something which might make one person terrified (like absailing or making a speech) will be exhilarating and exciting for someone else. It’s not the situation – it’s the mental reaction to it.

Feeling good is a matter of seeing things in a certain way. In Chinese there is a phrase which people use at Chinese New Year: Fu Jai Yan Qien. It means ‘happiness is right in front of your eyes.’ You get the idea.

The best ‘practical’ way I have learned to continually feel good is to consciously enjoy every situation you are in. Sometimes it’s easy to enjoy your situation – when you’re doing something you love, when you’re with someone you like, when you’re in your favorite place.

Other times, it doesn’t seem so easy. We’ve conditioned ourselves to let circumstances push us around and to let other people pull our strings. But we can break free – we can feel good in any situation!

You can enjoy taking an exam. You can enjoy giving a speech. You can enjoy anything because this is how we are supposed to feel all the time. If only we could drop all the negative thinking we’ve picked up over the years.

How you enjoy every situation is up to you. Just find a way.

A good starting point is to look for a feeling of relief or to ‘reach for a better feeling thought.’ In other words, think of something which makes you feel better.

For example, suppose you are feeling angry about something that has happened. You cannot suddenly think yourself into feeling peace and happiness. But you can move one notch up on the emotional scale – you can reach for a feeling of disappointment.

Instead of being angry with the situation, think about how disappointed that things have worked out this way. You will find that you get a sense of relief. From here, you can reach for a feeling of optimism – things don’t stay the same for long and something good will come out of this, or something else will come along which is a more positive experience.

You can see how moving up the emotional scale, step by step, can be easy and effective. With gentle, persistent practice, you can become adept at this process.

But in the end, it doesn’t matter how you do it – just get to that feeling of enjoyment. Take the compass of your feelings seriously – it’s one of the most precious things you have.

My Innocent Childhood

soil soil and soil, , playing in the soil,
No fear of disease, no fear of toil.
What a wonderful days that was,
i always remember my childhood, my innocent childhood..

Only friend no foes,
no thinking of what dont and what does.
No fear of future, no thinking of present,
i always remember my childhood, my innocent childhood..

What was the past, leave it, it surpassed,
what has to happen, lets face when it comes.
Future planning! What is this?
i always remember my childhood, my innocent childhood..

Play was religion and play was God,
only thing which gave fear, was my fathers rod.
Crying crying crying a lot, then said love you pappa,
i always remember my childhood, my innocent childhood..

Brain's music pleasure zone identified

The most popular songs elicit the strongest response in the nucleus accumbens – the brain's reward centre – say scientists
Scientists know that music can give intense pleasure by delivering chemical rewards in the brain that are equal to the joy of good food or even sex, but now they think they may have identified the part of the brain where this pleasure starts.

Researchers scanned the brains of subjects while they listened to new songs and asked how much they would spend on buying the tracks. They found that the most popular songs - those which people were prepared to pay more for - were also the ones that elicited the strongest response in the nucleus accumbens, a structure in the centre of the brain that is involved in reward processing.

"This area is important because it's involved in forming expectations and these are expectations that could be rewarding," said Valorie Salimpoor of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. "What makes music so emotionally powerful is the creation of expectation. Activity in the nucleus accumbens normally would indicate that expectations are being met or surpassed."

In the experiment, which is published in Science, she and her colleagues scanned the brains of 20 people who used an iTunes-like interface to listen to 30-second clips of songs they had never heard before but were in a genre they generally liked. "Instead of just asking them if they liked the music or not, we gave them a chance to buy the music because that gives us a real understanding of what they really like and want," she said. "Immediately after they hear each clip, they make a decision. They could spend zero dollars, 99c, $1.29 or $2."

The brain scans showed a direct relationship between how strong a response someone had in their nucleus accumbens to a song and how much they were willing to pay for it. This part of the brain was not acting alone, however. Salimpoor also found that it was taking in information from the superior temporal gyrus.

"This part of the brain is the part that has stored all the templates of the music we've heard in the past and will be unique for each individuals," she said. "The way that we like music is 100% unique to who we are and what we've heard in the past and the way that our superior temporal gyrus has been shaped. The brain is working a bit like a music-recommendation system."

The latest results shed further light into Salimpoor's 2011 study, which found that the experience of pleasure when listening to music was mediated by the release of the brain's reward chemical, dopamine. She said that music seemed to tap into the circuitry in the brain that had evolved to drive human motivation. This ancient reward system, when listening to music, was being used to provide a cognitive reward.

Prof Sophie Scott, a neuroscientist at University College London, cautioned that Salimpoor's results should not be over-interpreted. "It is clearly the case that you get rewards for the music you like [but] I don't think we listen to music in any one way, we listen to music in the same way we read books or read poetry or engage with other sorts of art," she said. "One of the reasons they are things we like is because we can engage with them in multiple ways - you could be enjoying music because of the rhythm, because of the way the singer's singing, there's so much going on.

Reward was only a snapshot of one particular brain system and its involvement in music, Scott said. "But don't think it's telling you everything about the totality of how your brain engages with music."

Comprehensive immigration plan would take tough steps on border

During the first decade after passage, the bill sets ambitious goals for border authorities — including continuous surveillance of 100 percent of the United States border and 90 percent effectiveness of enforcement in several high-risk sectors — and for other workplace and visa enforcement measures. It provides at least $3 billion for Homeland Security officials to meet those goals during the first five years, with a possibility of additional financing.

The bill includes provisions, or “triggers,” during that decade that allow Congress at different points to ensure the enforcement goals are being met.

A person familiar with proposed bipartisan immigration legislation being written in the Senate says the bill would require greatly expanded surveillance of the U.S. border with Mexico and greatly increased apprehensions of border crossers in high risk areas.

People here illegally could begin to get green cards only after a new southern border security plan is in place, employers have adopted mandatory electronic verification of their workers’ legal status and a new electronic exit system is operating at airports and seaports.

The person provided the information on condition of anonymity because the deliberations were private. Some of the information was first reported Wednesday by the Wall Street Journal.

The contours of the border security piece emerged as senators moved closer to unveiling the sweeping legislation within days.

“I believe this is a country of opportunity,” said Alonso Martinez, 30, an immigrant from Mexico who lives in Maryland, “and without citizenship we are not going to have the same opportunity as the other immigrants who came before us.”

You Cannot Tell Me!

you cannot tell me
that freedom sees color,
religion, or financial status.

you cannot tell me
that freedom divides
between classes.

you cannot tell me
that freedom is for the few,
and not for the many.

you cannot tell me
that freedom can be bought,
sold, or traded.

you cannot tell me
that freedom can be won
by destroying innocent lives.

you cannot tell me
that freedom invades other countries
for political or economic reasons.

you cannot tell me
that freedom exists without justice.
you cannot tell me

that freedom is out of reach!

Miranda Lambert scores fourth consecutive ACM Female Vocalist prize

Miranda

Miranda is a true southern lady inside & out. I love her and Blake together. The best part of the show, however, was Dierks Bentley's WAYLON t-shirt! I just wish country music would honor him. Oh, that's right, they aren't quite finished black balling him yet. Doesn't matter. Those of us who love music (especially country music) we know this beloved outlaw deserves one hell of a lot of credit for making music his way, thereby allowing any artist that followed him a chance to make music their way as well.

An emotional Miranda Lambert was just named ACM Female Vocalist of the Year, her third award of the night, and her fourth consecutive win in the category.

In the category, she beat Martina McBride, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and the artist Lambert herself thought would win, Carrie Underwood.

“I for sure thought Carrie had it this year and she damn well deserves it,” said Lambert.

Lambert had a total of five nominations this year, and won four awards, including Single of the Year, plus two trophies as both the composer and performer on Song of the Year winner “Over You.” She shares the latter award with husband and co-composer Blake Shelton.

Lambert's four awards made her the top winner of the night. She joins Reba McEntire and Loretta Lynn as the only other artists to win Female Vocalist of the Year four or more times.

Miranda Lambert is hands down the best country music songwriter and performer. She should have won Entertainer of the Year as well.

A love my heart just found

What's the feeling of love?
My mind is longing for love,
A love my heart just found.
Words will not describe!
The emotions I feel inside.
When we are together,
I need to hold you close.

Heart to mind, or lips to lips.
I love your smile,
your sexy charm,
Your valiant walk,
your long flowing hair,
All these things sets alarm.
A love my heart just found.
To each day I walk alone,
No one can fill my heart… your home.
I think about you all damn day,
But mostly when I lie awake.
I never dreamt much in the past,
Now I do and it's for you.
I will stand by your side,
Through thick and all,
To see that gorgeous smile,

That always makes me fall.
When you think you have nothing left,
I swear to you, I'll be left.
Your gentle lips and your beautiful glow,
A love my heart just found.
An angel I have, from head to toe.
I know these words,
my heart has shown,
To you I vow these words alone.

Bring Your Laptop to the White River

Do you have a dream to the White River?Do you want to watch how the film make out?You Can Bring Your Laptop to the White River Indie Films Fest: This Year’s Focus on ‘Transmedia’ Examines New Forms of Storytelling

Time was, print was print and film was film and the only way they intersected was as a screenplay or when they commented on one another. Think Citizen Kane, the classic movie about a newspaper baron, or the film criticism of Pauline Kael.

But the growth of computing power and the Internet have changed all that, creating a more supple interface for reading, viewing and listening, all at once. Newspapers, magazines and new-media outlets are spinning narratives that incorporate text, video and sound.

The shorthand term for this, “transmedia,” is the focus of this year’s White River Indie Films festival, scheduled for April 26-28. While the festival retains a concentration on local filmmakers, its organizers have planned what they’re calling “iWRIF,” a series of panel discussions, presentations and other events that examine “the future of storytelling across platforms.”

“We’ve had a lot of conversations over the years about how film and writing are merging,” said Liz Canner, WRIF’s director and chairwoman of the festival’s board. “I feel like we are in this crossroads and there is this convergence of forms,” she added, a convergence that yields a whole new way to tell stories.

Some of these stories are appearing now, in the form of e-books or articles with videos that advance the story, and text that links videos. Practitioners of this new art are descending on White River Junction for the festival, making WRIF more wide-ranging in its outlook. Last year, an appearance by director John Sayles brought in a wider audience, and this year festival organizers are trying to bring documentary filmmaker Eugene Jarecki to White River Junction for a Q&A after a screening of The House I Live In, his film about the war on drugs.

If you want to the White River, then take your laptop.

Apple patent envisions wireless charging on convertible laptop

As we all know,Jobs has a very great idea,to make the Apple products easy to take.He made iPhone look simple but convenient to use.And we all believe that “Make the Apple products be charged wirelessly” is one of his targets.

Despite Apple CEO Tim Cook having knocked the idea of a convertible MacBook-iPad hybrid device, the company has filed a patent application for just that. The proposed patent, titled “Wireless display for electronic devices,” was published by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office today.

The application describes a computer display that is removable from its base — basically a convertible laptop. But, what’s different about this idea from other convertibles made by other companies is that it has wireless display technology. That means the device could be charged wirelessly.

Here’s how Apple describes it in its patent application:

The base includes a processor, a base wireless chip, and a power source. The display includes a screen for displaying a video output, a display wireless chip in communicating with the base wireless chip, and a power wireless chip in communication with the power source. The base wireless chip transmits data from the processor to the display. Also, when the display is at least in one position with respect to the base, the power source transmits power to the power transition member of the display.
Convertible devices are nothing new, but they’ve never really caught on. Lenovo has its Yogaconvertible, and Dell created its XPS 12, both of which run Microsoft Windows.

Last year, Cook mocked convertible devices saying that such convergence is a “compromise” to the end user.

“Anything can be forced to converge, but the problem is that products are about trade-offs, and you begin to make trade-offs to the point where what you have left doesn’t please anyone,” Cook said. “You can converge a toaster and a refrigerator, but those things are probably not going be pleasing to the user.”

It’s possible that Apple will never develop a consumer product based on this proposed patent, but it’s also possible that the company may now be thinking it can do something beyond what Microsoft has done.

Apple has shown interest in wireless technology in the past. In 2011, it applied for a wireless charging patent that would let userscharge an iOS device simply by keeping it close to their computer system. Then, last year, the company filed another patent application for wirelessly charging devices that would charge while sitting in boxes on store selves. Most recently, just last month, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office published an Apple patent application that aims to charge iPads using a Smart Coveroutfitted with charging technology.

I think one day,we will have one iPad or iPhone without anything to keep supporting.

Google Launches Quick Office App For Android, IPhones

Google is developing in a very fast speed. It is driving as well as Apple on the head line of the technology in the word.

After acquiring Quick Office in June last year, Google launched an iPad application. Today, Google has made Quick Office available for the iPhone and Android devices.

"One of the easiest ways to share old files and collaborate with others is to convert them to Google Docs, Sheets and Slides," Product Manager Mark Beaton said in a blog post.

The app hopes to serve as a universal tool that connects formats of different software like MS Office. "Not everyone you work with has gone Google yet. So to help, Google Apps for Business can already edit Microsoft Office files using Quickoffice on an iPad, and starting today they can do the same on iPhone and Android devices. From Word to Excel to Powerpoint, you can make quick edits at the airport or from the back of a taxi and save and share everything in Google Drive."

Google has also made it possible for users to sign in with their Google Apps account, thereby giving them quick access to shortcuts for "Shared With Me," "Starred," "Recent" and subfolders in a menu. The applicationmakes it extremely easy for users to sort files and find them quickly.

This will be a big news to the world about the Apps of cellphone. And we believe that Google will have a better future in the future.

Pressured by China, Apple Apologizes for Warranty Policies

SHANGHAI — Apple’s chief executive,Tim Cook took the unusual step Monday of apologizing to Chinese customers over the company’s warranty policy and said he would improve customer service in the country.

In its initial online response to the matter, Apple said it highly respected China's customers and fully complied with local laws and regulations. Though when the company refused to do interviews or speak further on the matter, it was viewed as arrogance by local media.

The issue was also enough to pique the interest of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, which -- according to local a report on China National Radio's Web site -- last week began urging local authorities to increase supervision of Apple's policies.

China is a big market for Apple. So Tim don't want to lose the benefit of China. And recently,The affection of China is more and more important.Asia is a very special place and market of Apple.Jobs has gone for almost 2 years. It becomes a very important problem of Apple which how to develop the company.Google is stronger and stronger these years.Every want to know which is the better one in the world.Of course,Microsoft is here too.

Moonlight is Still Here

I heard that you’re settled down on the moon.
I don’t know if you still remember the passed person.
Every time I walk from the old street,
only found the old trees and old lake.
I still remember the moonlight that we bathed in.
But the moonlight is still here,
someone is gone.

Yesterday is a song,
which sing by a dumb voice.
I can just see the rain falling from the sky,
but can’t find you flying with the wind.
If you can see me in the sky,
why don’t you give me some hints?
The moonlight is still there just before,
but someone won’t come back.

Hey,pretty girl.
I can’t image if the moon is cold.
Even though I have a warm heart,
how can I make you feel the warmth.
Moonlight is shining in the sky.
But it is so cold in my life.
Moonlight is still here in my life,
how can I watch it and say goodbye.
