When someone says "I'm tired" I know one thing.

That person went through many injuries and blows. Disappointments and humiliations. And it didn't stay the same. She learned first hand what human malice is and what it’s like when you need someone’s hand and you don’t have it. When someone says "I'm tired" I know that behind that sentence is a person who wants to be more loved, accepted, appreciated. Someone who has wiped away tears for a long time and who just wants to hear that it means something to someone. When someone says "I'm tired" I know that behind it is a person who has worked long hours to please others, and avoided what makes her happy. And now she was left without strength. She was a person who had long been without words of support, a touch of tenderness, a gesture of love. And now she has had enough of a life that was not life.
