Down this road
This picture shows a tipical finnish expression that stands for:I don't know! En tiedä! What the fuck?! Mitä vittua?! Pretty much every finnish guy that I have met makes that same expression, even my finnish teacher (without that mitäs vittua part, at least in front of the audience...but maybe in privacy of his own home) However, not that many girlies do that. The picture also shows that a finnish guy should hold a glass or a bottle in his hand, which is usually almost empty! QUICK COURSE: Mikä sinun nimesi on? - What is your name? Minun nimeni on x. - My name is x. Missä sinä asut? - Where do you live? Mistä sinä olet kotoisin? - Where are you from? Kuinka vanha sinä olet? - How old are you? Minä olen x vuotta vanha. - I am x years old Kiitos. - Thank you. Ole hyvä. - You are welcome. Here you are. Anteeksi. - I'm sorry. Excuse me. Ei se mitään! - No problem! Kippis! - Cheers!
