Verification of Serbian representative Mr. Kristijan Bogdanović, Serbian representative, never do nothing for EMA. He sent to European majorettes’ championship just one team in last 5 years. In February several teams contact EMA and explain all their problems in their association and they found new association. President of new association is Mr. Adam Vidaković. On this championship we will have much more Serbian teams. We want to note that association which is Mr. Kristijan Bogdanović president works with IMA. PROPOSAL: New Serbian representative will be Mažoret savez Srbije. voting: - in favour of - 15 votes - against - none - sustained - none Mažoret savez Srbije is unanimously accepted to be a Serbian representative in EMA. Verification of Italian representative We try to contact Mrs. Angelisa Vendramin to settle situation in Italy. It was quite difficult to find her. Her association UNBIMA don’t know in which direction will they go in the future. Mr. Alen Šćuric with EMA delegation contact one team which was on European majorettes’ champions in Italy 2006. and we have meeting with them in Rome. They are professionals; their team organize festivals in Italy. PROPOSAL: New Italian representative will be Mrs. Roberta Ruggeri. voting: - in favour of - 15 votes - against - none - sustained - none Roberta Ruggeri is unanimously accepted to be an Italian representative in EMA. Verification of United Kingdom representative EMA delegation contact past representative of UK in EMA. Mr. Dave Lukas explain to us that his partner Tom past away and Dave had hard attack. These medical problems prevent him to do this job. In same time we find other UK association which really want to work in EMA. We also want to give one more chance to our old member. Mr. Malcom Buy will try in next year gathering teams in UK and solving this bad situation. PROPOSAL: New UK representative will be Mr. Malcom Buy and he will, in the next year, try to solve situation with UK majorettes. voting: - in favour of - 15 votes - against - none - sustained - none Malcom Buy is unanimously accepted to be a UK representative in EMA. Switzerland and Spain come to 13th European majorettes’ championship as observers. 3. Place of European majorettes’ championship 2012 Mr. Florian Virgili, French representative reports about organization of EMC 2012 in France. PROPOSAL: European majorettes’ championship will be in France. voting: - in favour of - 15 votes - against - none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. 4. Changing of EMA Rulebook Proposal of President of EMA to cancel parade march in pom-poms by very bed experience from last year EMC, where participants, judges and spectators were against it. Bosnia and Herzegovina delegation: think that we did mistake with parade march in pom-poms because teams try to do something in short period of time and we can see that in lower quality of dance. Nobody dances pom-poms parade march in national championships. Romania delegation: really like pom-poms parade march because of many nice movements. There are teams that all summer practice for pom-poms parade marches. In mine time comes Slovenian delegation that was delayed because of the traffic jam, so we note now 17 votes. Mr. Alen Šćuric explain to Slovenia delegation topic of conversation. Slovenian delegation: They want to make on the same level championship for the pom-poms and batons. They propose that formation pom-poms perform in stage choreography and formation batons in parade march. It is not fair that batons have 2 performances and pom-poms only one for the same value of medals and the same title (European champion). It will also short our championship. President: In the several sports which are Olympic sports (athletics, gymnastic…) you have the same value of medals but they are not in the same level. If we give them same obligated elements we will not have something new and creative. Also choreographers don’t want obligation. In that way we handicap better teams and worse also. That kind of championship we decide against at 2000. French delegation: Let’s try to give 5-6 elements which will be obligated in choreography and parade march. PROPOSAL: Do we want to finish with the parade march like two years ago and we will have pom-poms just in stage choreography? voting: - in favour of - 4 votes - against – 11 votes - sustained – 2 votes Proposal is not accepted and we will have parade march in pom-poms. . PROPOSAL: Proposal of President of EMA to shortening the parade march on 2 minutes and 65 meters. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. PROPOSAL: Proposal of President of EMA to change high of judge’s tribune on 1 meter or 1,5 meter. On that way we will relieve organizers of championship and judges will still have very good conditions for judging. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. PROPOSAL: Proposal of President of EMA to remove the disqualification for acrobatics and punishing the same. President explains his proposal to remove the disqualification for acrobatics because we have problem with defining what acrobatic movements in majorettes are. Slovakian example: if our baton falls when we go to pick it we are in disqualification movement. Slovakia and Czech Republic are countries with majorette tradion and now they have problem with groups. Too many groups “die”, and some of them have only little children in group. Now there are popular cheerleading troupes. If we want that Slovakia and Czech stay in EMA we need to be elastic and try to find some adjustment to their association. Discussion: Slovenia – if we allowed them we will have cheerleaders, not majorettes; we have to punished them. UK – In United Kingdom on the first place is safety and cheerleaders are dangerous; they can fall and injure themselves. BaH: We can try to make new category to make difference between two types pom-poms and cheerleaders and we need to make new rulebook and this is very long process. We need to open new category on National championship. France: We need to speak with Slovakia and see their performances on European championship in show. PROPOSAL: We are open to discussion with Slovakia and Czech national association. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. PROPOSAL: Acrobatic movements will not be disqualification. We will just punished teams with negative points 9.9. Till next GA national association will sent to EMA administration their proposal of allowed acrobatic movements. We will change rulebook from next year. voting: - in favour of - 8 votes - against – 7 votes - sustained – 2 votes Proposal is accepted with 8 votes in favour of, 7 votes against and 2 sustained. PROPOSAL: President of EMA propose to change the rule 1.5.2. Delegate must not come from country which organizes EMC. Till now we never had delegate. Delegate is technical person who settle problems with organizers, so that job can do person which don’t have judging exam. PROPOSAL: Move rule 1.5.2. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. Proposal of President of EMA to delete the rule 8.2.2. Majorette performing in nonformation must perform in formation of the same team, in identical form, identical age class and in identical uniforms. Reserve majorettes are not considered to be dancers in formation. If team of the majorettes who compete in EMC did not qualified for EMC she must have certification of National association that her team did compete in national championship or qualification cup. This rule never gets on life. We just want to clear this rule. That is basic document which every national association must care. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. Proposal of French majorettes association to open new category mace (read about it in “Participants of XIII EMC) EMA president explain history of mace. In February we have seminar in France and one group near Bordeaux come with mace. That is like 200 years ago, first prop of majorettes. This year is unofficial competition and we will see if judges can judge that because of different throwing of baton. After the presentation national associations will sent us memo what they think about new category mace. PROPOSAL: We will test it and till the middle of the October national association will sent us memo. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. 5. Presidential Report, Financial Report, Supervisory Board Report President was presented his report in written form to EMA GA members. We want to make powerful association. We travel a lot this year. We employed one girl which was communicating with lot of teams. On this championship you will see 102 teams. Scotland, Spain and Swiss are observers on this championship. We are still positive in financial report. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Presidential Report, Financial Report, Supervisory Board Report are accepted unanimously. Other subjects EMA administration presented new flag of EMA which is much modern with new letters, batons and stars. voting: - in favour of - 17 votes - against – none - sustained - none Proposal is accepted unanimously. 1st September 2011, Zagreb, Croatia Maja Žigman EMA general secretary |
