Prije nekoliko sedmica sam vidjela na naslovnici da je neka blogerica postira nešto u smislu “znaš da si odrasato u 60-im ili 70-im, ako ti je ovo poznato” i onda je tu bila lista od neki 20-30 stvarčica. Još prije toga sam slične liste mnogo puta dobila emailom (ne znam zašto jer ja sam malo kasnije odrasla), ali sam juče po prvi put dobila listu o mojoj generaciji, o nama koji smo odrasli u 80-im i ranim 90-im. Na listi ima oko 60ak stvari (neke su specifične za američke nam vršnjake), tako da sam je malo skratila i uglavnom stavila ono u što je meni izgledalo prepoznato. A pošto mi je veoma mrsko prevoditi, sorry svima vama koji ne znate engleski  You Know You Grew Up In The 80's or Early 90's If: 1. You watched the Pound Puppies. 2. You can sing the rap to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 3. Girls wore biker shorts under their skirts and felt stylishly sexy. 4. Two words: Hammer Pants 5. If you ever watched "Fraggle Rock" 6. It was actually worth getting up early on a Sunday to watch cartoons. 7. You wore a ponytail on the side of your head. 8. You saw the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the big screen..and still know the turtles names. 9. You wore stonewashed jeans and jean jackets and were proud of it. 10. You know the profound meaning of "WAX ON, WAX OFF" 11. You wanted to be a Goonie. 12. You ever wore fluorescent clothing. 13. You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off and his cheeks shifted. 14. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the only female smurf. 15. You thought your childhood friends would never leave because you exchanged handmade friendship bracelets. 16. You remember going to the skating rink before there were inline skates. 17. You've gone through this nodding your head in agreement. 18. Don't worry, be happy 19. You wore like, EIGHT pairs of socks over tights with high top Reeboks (or any sneakers) 20. You wore socks scrunched down 21. You remember boom boxes and people walking around with one on their shoulder 22. You remember watching both Gremlins movies. 23. You remember Alf, the lil’ furry brown alien from Melmac. 24. You remember New Kids on the Block when they were cool...and don't even flinch when people refer to them as "NKOTB" 25. You tight rolled your jeans. 26. You know all the words to Bon Jovi - SHOT THROUGH THE HEART. 27. You just sang those words to yourself. |
