Najbolja DVD izdanja u 2008 godini...

Evo sam započeo sa izborom najboljih i najgorih u svim segmentima što imaju veze sa hororom, SF-om i fantazijom.
Činjenica je da na DVD mediju i nije bilo bog zna što nova i zanimljiva, pa sam si uzeo slobodu malo više produbiti potragu za realno najboljim izdanjima koje možete pronaći.
Kako ćete vidjeti video igre su uvijek bogate kvalitetnim naslovima....

5) Pumpkinhead (1988) Collector's Edition

O filmu: Jedno od najzapaženijih čudovišta iz 80-tih napokon je dobilo svoje pravo DVD izdanje. Iako nije u vrhu najboljih horora ikad snimljenih, definitivno spada u zapažena djela. Lance Henriksen glumi u filmu, a redatelj (ujedno i kreator čudovišta) je Stan Winston.
Mislim da bi pokojni Stan bio zadovoljan dodatcima:

O filmu: Jedan od najboljih horor filmova 80-tih. Redatelj Tom Holland u svom najboljem izdanju uspijeva stvoriti novu ikonu horor filma - psihopatskog lutka Chuckya. Najbolji od sva četiri filma...
O DVD-u koji sadrži sljedeće dodatke:
- Commentary track with creator/writer Don Mancini and producer David Kirschner.
- A second track with FX guru Kevin Yagher, Catherine Hicks (Kevin's wife; they met on the film), and now-grown-up Alex Vincent.

3) The Dark Crystal (1982) 25th Anniversary Edition

O filmu: Jedan od najboljih fantasy filmova koje sam ikad gledao...a u njemu ne glume ljudi već lutke. Remek djelo Jima Hansona.
O DVD-u koji sadrži sljedeće dodatke:
- feature-length audio commentary with conceptual designer and all-around fairy geek Brian Froud ("The Dark Crystal" took up five years of Froud's life)
- "Reflections of 'The Dark Crystal'" is a two-part featurette made up of brand-new interviews and special test footage recently unearthed from the Henson archives
- "Light on the Path of Creation" (20 minutes)
- "Shard of Illusion" (16 minutes) delves more into production stories and how the creatures came to life with the help of creative
- gallery of Brian Froud's character drawings
- "The World of 'The Dark Crystal'" (53 minutes) is the definitive take on the creation of the film
- a single deleted scene (3 minutes) concerning the funeral for the Skeksis leader is included. It's a very gothic, troubling sequence better left out of the movie. The scene appears courtesy of a well-worn VHS copy of the work print
- "Work Print Scenes" (20 minutes) demonstrates that not every idea on the "Dark Crystal" was a good one
- no theatrical trailer is to be found on this DVD
