----------- --- On Tue, 3/17/09, POU Ludbreg From: POU Ludbreg Subject: Haiku susreti u Ludbregu To: borivojbukva@yahoo.com Date: Tuesday, March 17, 2009, 12:11 PM Poštovani, šaljem poziv na sudjelovanje haiku zbornika Ludbreg 2009. Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose is a biannual journal—a print literary journal with digital editions—dedicated to publishing and promoting fine English haibun and tanka prose. We are interested in both traditional and innovative haibun and tanka prose of high quality and in all serious attempts to assimilate the best of the Japanese genres into a continuously developing English tradition. In addition to haibun and tanka prose, we publish articles, essays, book notes & reviews, and interviews related to haibun and tanka prose. Serious writing and adult themes are appreciated. Doggerel and anything that is pornographic or in any way nasty, hateful, bigoted, or partisan political, will not be accepted. All such judgments will be made at the sole discretion of the editor. BOOK REVIEWS AND NOTES: Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose, generally, will solicit book reviews directly. We cannot guarantee that we will review unsolicited books sent in for review; we may choose to review such an unsolicited book or not. All books received, solicited or unsolicited, will not be returned, whether reviewed or not. Book reviewers receive a biographical entry on the Contributor Notes page. We publish “Book Notes” and announcements at our sole discretion. If you wish to submit a fully written Book Note (300 words, maximum) along with a copy of the book, we will consider publishing it; no guarantees. No biographical entry is published with a Book Note. For both book reviews and notes/announcements, we will only publish those which have some relevance to the scope of Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose, i.e., haibun and tanka prose. We are very sensitive to even the appearance of copyright-infringement, so, be certain that you have, and provide, any necessary permissions for works quoted in an article or essay. (U.S.A. Copyright Information) We may solicit articles and essays but we also are glad to receive them after queries or even over the transom. We seek to promote the assimilation of the best of the Japanese genres into a continuously developing English tradition. The criteria for publication of articles and essays are that the topic be of interest to our readers, that the author have something fresh to say, and that the article or essay be well written. We are interested in items on various levels of expertise and scholarship and do not expect all items to be written at the same technical level. We do NOT exclude good articles simply because they propose any idea with which we do not agree. We do NOT exclude good articles simply because the author is someone not in favor with us, with readers, or with the writing community in general. We do NOT publish inferior articles on the basis of their agreement with our various positions on relevant matters. In short, the publication of articles and essays is decided upon according to our editorial criteria and not by favoritism nor by our antipathies. Concomitantly, publication of any article or essay in Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose cannot reasonably be, and should not be, taken as Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose’ endorsement of the propositions and ideas contained therein. We publish, as we are able, both sides of important questions and issues. LETTERS TO THE EDITOR: Letters to the editor of Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose are welcome and may be published in the currently open issue. Please put “Modern Haibun & Tanka Prose: Letters to the Editor” on the subject line of your email to distinguish letters to the editor from other correspondence. “Građanin Havel” pak prati Vaclava Havela kroz njegovih deset godina na mjestu predsjednika Češke Republike i pokazuje njegovu iznimnu etičnost, humanost i duhovitost, čak i u najtežim trenucima. Raspored programa festivala: 24. 3. u 18:00 - Nasljednici, Eugenio Polgovsky, Meksiko, 90 minuta 24. 3. u 20:00 - Na kraju dolaze turisti, Robert Thalheim, Njemačka, 85 minuta 25. 3. u 18:00 - Iz ljubavi prema narodu, Eyal Sivan, Njemačka/ Francuska, 88 minuta 25. 3. u 20:00 - Il divo, Paolo Sorrentino, Italija, 110 minuta 26. 3. u 14:00 - Melankolija, Lav Diaz, Filipini, 450 minuta 27. 3. u 17:00 - Specijalist, portret modernog kriminalca, Eyal Sivan, Izrael/Francuska/Njemačka/Austrija, 128 minuta 27. 3. u 19:30 - Politika i etika, razgovor s Nenadom Miščevićem i Nebojšom Zeličem 27. 3. u 21:00 - Priče o ljudskim pravima, grupa autora, 80 minuta 28. 3. u 19:00 - Građani K, Eyal Sivan, Francuska, 60 minuta 28. 3. u 20:30 - Građanin Havel, Pavel Koutecky, Češka, 120 minuta Više o festivalu na stranicama http://www.humanrightsfestival.org _______________________________________________ Radionica09 mailing list Radionica09@filmaktiv.org http://filmaktiv.org/mailman/listinfo/radionica09_filmaktiv.org --------------- |
