My Story!

I was introduced to SFI by an internet marketer, who got into SFI as a result of another marketer. So my up-line consists of two people who make a lot of money from SFI, will probably never quit SFI, and do nothing to help their down-line. Everything I know about SFI, my successes and failures, are all my doing. My co-sponsor tries somewhat, with the occasional 'inspirational' message, and reminder to do my daily tasks. I started out in SFI using my own money, doing the tasks, etc. I became a BTL, with a 'team' that basically did nothing. I had one CSA that had a standing order for 125 TC, and the rest usually didn't bother to sign in. I got over 1,000 PSA's, and about 800 CSA's. But, I was not making as much as I was spending. I made a decision to quit spending anything other than profits. I knew that within a short period of time that I would probably lose the only person who consistently made me a few dollars, and I was going to lose all my CSA's as well. But no matter, I wanted to learn how to run the business without spending any money on it. I went back down to EA2, and then Affiliate in just 2 months. I stayed at the Affiliate level for a long, long time. Now, I'm not going to pretend that I spent months reading up on all the great ways I could market myself, nor did I bother joining safelists or traffic exchanges, nor any of that 'stuff' that we keep telling newbies to do. Why? To be honest, at first I felt that scraping around the bottom of the barrel looking for the occasional tidbit was beneath me. Just to be clear, I am an internet marketer, and sell all kinds of info-products. I know how to write good sales copy, how to target my audience, where to advertise at, how to set up and run a blog, and many other things. However, I found SFI to be quite unique in its promise, and it did appear to deliver for some people. I wanted to understand what it must be like for somebody who really doesn't have any money, and is not an online geek or marketer. I signed in most days, played a few games, won T-Time about once a week, and slowly built up some MRP. I did do some free advertising, but the time required was ridiculous in comparison to the pathetic results I achieved. So, I read thoroughly through the training, and started to implement as much of the given program as is possible with no money. The results? Generally disastrous, and quite disappointing. However, I noticed that if I did certain things, I tended to gain TCredits, and MRP. I could save up those MRP, and purchase an S-Builder share, so I did. I purchased an S-Builder, which delivered a few PSA's, but they were duds. Repeated the process, and didn't get much more than the first attempt. Frustrated somewhat, I started to wonder if those who said that they never spent any money on SFI were just BS'ing. I stopped working on SFI, and focused on other things for a while. I don't know how long I didn't bother to log in for, maybe 3-4 months. I was in between projects, and decided to check back in to SFI. There were a few new games, and there had been a few changes to the overall layout of things, but mostly it looked pretty much the same as before. I still had $20 of commissions, dunno where they came from, a couple of TCredits, and about 500 MRP. I decided to give it another go. I tried out the new games, won a few rounds of KOT, got some TCredits from Pick or Punt, won a few times on T-Time. This lasted a couple of months, while I accumulated MRP. Things changed for me with the new Fast-Track program introduction, and the New Member Pack. I had enough MRP to buy one NMP, which gave me 3 CSA's, and some VP. I decided to up my game, and try to maintain my regained EA2 status, but still not spending any money out of my pocket. I ended up buying some S-Builder shares with my MRP, and I've been able to maintain EA2 using the MRP I have acquired. I'm starting a free blog on wordpress.com where I will talk about things that I know about making money online. (Needless to say, I will have a lot to tell about SFI.) I never spent the $20 of commissions, and I have 1500 MRP and 20 TCredits at the time of writing this. In other words, I can maintain my EA2 for at least a couple more months without earning any more points or commissions. I still don't have any decent active members in my down line. SFI does in fact provide a self-sustaining business opportunity. You do NOT need to spend a single dime out of your own pocket! Sure, buying affiliates might help, spending money for decent advertising will help, but putting in the time and effort to learn as much as you can about SFI is the biggest single thing a person can do to help themselves. Over time, if you work the opportunities that are presented to you, you can slowly build up a team. Sure, most of that team will be duds, but you'll get the occasional jewel. By simply earning TCredits and MRP, you can buy S-Builder shares, or PSA's To Go. You don't need to worry about advertising, getting a website, posting on social media, harassing your family and friends, or any of that other 'inconvenient' stuff. You can indeed build a business from home, dressed in your best birthday suit if you so choose. So what have I learned in the couple of years that I have been with SFI? It's up to me to decide to work the business, and learn what I need to know. I am the one that has to log in each day, and complete my tasks. It is up to me to figure out how to carefully conserve those precious points. My choices and decisions are my problem, deal with them. It is not my upline's responsibility to grow my business for me. People from around the world, who don't speak English, can make the program work for them. Many of those people have become Team Leaders, and are willing to help you if you ask. There is help available in the forum for almost any aspect of SFI, no matter your rank/status. Support does a good job of looking after account problems, and seems to care about the people in SFI. (Yeah, they have their off days too, but who doesn't?) It is up to you to seek out any help that you need. To you started making more and more, need to open their own business. MOORE'S LAW!
 Moore's Law describes the falling cost of digital technology. When my daughter was born in 1980, the price of the memory chip for a home PC was $1,000.00 (not the whole PC, mind you, just the memory). When my daughter was one year old, the same amount of memory cost only $500.00. When she was three years old, the price was $250.00. When she started the first grade, the same amount of memory cost only $62.50. When she graduated from high school in 1998, the price of that same amount of memory had fallen to less that $0.25. When she began her junior year in college, the cost for the same amount of memory as in that original PC was just pennies. I assure you that nothing else we have purchased over her lifetime has decreased in cost anything like that! We, of course, upgraded the amount of memory we used over the years. Each time we upgraded, we spent about the same amount of money but got more and more computing power. So, what really happened was that our computing power increased by four times every three years for the same cost. Gordon Moore, one of the co-founders of Intel Corporation, made mathematical observations in the 1960's of the engineering practices which allowed miniaturization in semiconductor technology. This miniaturization applies to processors and other computer components as well as memory chips. What he observed mathematically is that computers can be made four times more powerful every three years for the same cost. Some argue that this same formula has held true for a full century, if you include the mechanical computers of the early 1900's and the old-fashioned transistors that followed. If you knew that you could get four times more raw materials every three years with no increase in cost in a given business, would you want to get into that business? The overwhelming answer everywhere is, of course, a resounding "yes!" All businesses, even traditional brick and mortar businesses, must market their goods and services. Because businesses look for the lowest cost to perform their processes, more and more marketing information and marketing processes, even for brick-and-mortar businesses, has become digital. Moore's Law ensures that Internet businesses, especially Internet marketing, will continue to grow and flourish at an astounding rate. Will Moore's Law continue to hold true in the future? How to make money?

This post is for new members who still learning the ropes how to make some earnings here. This will be about making sales. I will use example with Auctions / TCredits. It may work with any other of 80.000+ articles / services from TripleClicks if you think you can promote that better / easier than auctions. Pricebender Auctions are pretty attractive so you can promote them. Many ideas and resorces like Ad copy, banners, Gateway with your link included etc. are already given LINKS Anyone who want to participate need TCredits. What if you promote Auctions and you find someone who is interested? What you will earn that way? Before I start here is important thing to be understood. Commissions structure. Every SFI or ECA article has a price, but a part of end sale price goes to TripleClicks. That is 15% or more. A part of that money TripleClicks gives back to us - SFI affiliates. That part we call CV - Commision Volume. All such articles thus have SFI AFFILIATES TAB. Login to TripleClicks, and open this link: JOIN that is SFI AFFILIATE TAB of 200 TCredits Pack. As you can see CV - Commision Volume in a case of 200 TCredits pack is $22.14 or $19.68 SO If a person who wants to buy that pack put that on SO - Standing Order, he will pay bit LESS, thus CV is slightly less than if it just a regular order ( w/o SO ). Now, a part of the CV and that is exactly 45% we call DC - Direct Commission. That is a money in YOUR pocket if someone, referred by YOU, order that pack. A person referred by you can decide to become SFI affiliate, and be a part of your TEAM here. In such case we call him PSA - Personal Sponsored Affiliate. But, there is another sort of referrals PRMs - Personally Referred Members. They are NOT SFI affiliates, they are rather just "registered buyers on TripleClicks". Registered via your link so you will be credited with commission if they buy something there ( including TCredits of course ). You will not find them in your GENEALOGY report, because they are NOT your *TEAM*. You will see them here: MY ACCT >>> MY REPORTS >>> TC MEMBERS Example #1 Your PSA buy 200 TCredits pack In that case you will be credited with DC - Direct Commission. That is, as we said, 45% of CV - Commission Volume. In case of 200 TCredits pack without SO ( Standing Order ) you will earn $9.96 You will see that earnings here: MY ACCT >>> MY REPORTS >>> TC SALES REPORT and that will be paid to you arround the 15th next month. If you have at least $20 in total earnings for the whole previous month. As you can see with just 2 such sales you are almost at $20 earnings, ready for your Payoneer Mastercard ( and 500 one time Action VP for that ). Plus, you will get that money around the 15th next month. But in this example your PSA will get attached VPs - Versa Points and that is 1,661 VP. YOU can gt that 1661 VP as you MATCHING SHARES if you are at least TL - Team Leader, and your PSA is at least EA2 ( repeated Executive Affiliate ) NOTE: there is NO necessary qualification to earn DC - Direct Commission. Your own rank can be AFF but you WILL get DC on EVERY sale. So, if you don't have money to buy anything, MAKE IT, by promoting for example Pricebender auctions and bringing here people from all over the world who want to try them and who DO have money to buy TCredits. Promote and you will earn your *startup capital* Example #1 Your PRM buy 200 TCredits pack As we said, PRM is someone referred by you, but who doesn't want to bother with affiliate part of SFI. Instead they are looking for some great deals online. If your PRM buy 200 TCredits pack, you will again earn Direct Commission. $9.96 if your PRM makes just a regular order ( without putting that pack on his SO - Standing Order ). What about VP - Versa Points? You PRM is not an SFI affiliate. Versa Points mean nothing to your PRM because they can't earn here. So YOU get that 1,661 Versa Points! Quite enough to be qualified as an EA / fulfill 1500 minimum Sales VP for any Team Leader rank. What if your PRM buy 2 packs? You get DOUBLE! Double MONEY + Double Versa Points! What if your PRM buy a Truck on TripleClicks??? Well, you will get A LOT of versa points + A LOT of PURE MONEY as your Direct Commission. What if you promote, promote, promote, and have more PRMs? You will score more VPs and earn more money of course. What if your PRM buy now 1 pack, than *disappear* i.e. don't buy anything for a while, but after a few months he decide to try auctions again and order 200 TCredits Pack? Well, you will wake up with some Versa Points AND some MONEY on your account! W/o you even knowing that your PRM will decide to do that. You would just spot that VPs and money on your Scoreboard and TC Sales Report. So, What if you DON'T have ANY MONEY to buy ANYTHING here? Answer is above. PROMOTE.
