Ovaj post je inspiriran sa Toma Judinim postom koji je ispiriran mojim bivšim postom. 
I danas ću sa vama podijeliti neke citate od Sri Nisgaradatta Maharaja iz knjige "I am That". Maharaj je prosvjetljeni učitelj i znam da ga mnogi stavljaju u kategoriju "autoritet". Sami procijenite da li vam ovi njegovi citati imaju smisla ili ne i da li on za vas spada u tu kategoriju ili ne. Poboldao sam ono što se je meni učinilo posebnim važnim. Na kraju slijedi moj komentar.
"Questioner: There is suffering and bloodshed in East Pakistan at the present moment. How do you look at it? How does it appear to you, how do you react to it? What is your attitute to what is happening?
Maharaj: No attitude. Nothing is happening. In pure conciousness nothing ever happens.
Death is natural, the manner of dying is man-made. Separateness causes fear and aggression, which again cause violence. Do away with man-made separation all this horror of people killing each other will surely end. But in reality there is no killing and no dying. The real does not die, the unreal never lived. Set your mind right and all will be right. When you know that the world is one, that humanity is one, you will act accordingly. But first of all you must attend to the way you feel, think and live. Unless there is order in yourself, there can be no order in the world.
In reality nothing happens. Onto the screen of the mind destiny forever projects its pictures, memories of former projections and thus illusion constantly renews itself. The pictures come and go - light intercepted by ignorance. See the light and disregard the picture.
Questioner: How can I find peace when the world suffers?
Maharaj: The world suffers for very valid reasons. If you want to help the world, you must be beyond the need of help. Then all your doing as well as not doing will help the world most effectively.
Q: How can non-action be of use where action is needed?
M: Where action is needed, action happens. Man is not the actor. His is to be aware of what is going on. His very presence is action.
Q: There is not enough time to sit and wait for help to happen. One must do something.
M: By all means - do. But what can you do is limited; the self alone is unlimited. Give limitelessly - of yourself.

Q: Here is a picture of a child killed by soldiers. It is a fact - staring at you. You cannot deny it. Now, who is responsabile for the death of the child?
M: Nobody and everbody. The world is what it contains and each thing affects all others. We all kill the child and we all die with it. Every event has innumerable causes and produces numberless effects. It is useless to keep accounts, nothing is traceable.
Q: Your people speak of karma and retribution.
M: It is merely a gross aproximation: in reality we are all creators and creatures of each other, causing and bearing each other's burden."

Možemo težiti jednom od dva stanja: ili dualizmu ili stanju Jednoga. Ako nastupam sa stavom "ovo sam ja, a ovo si ti" tada je to dualizam. Ali ako sam ja i ti jedno, tada više nema dobra ni zla već samo ono što Je. Čak je i moj belief system trenutno povezan sa dualizmom: postoji moja Duša i postoji nečija tuđa Duša. Svjestan sam toga da je to tek jedan međukorak prema tome da u potpunosti osvijestim to stanje Jedinstva. Taj međukorak je meni svakako potreban. Svatko od nas na nekoj razini donosi odluku prema čemu će težiti - dualizmu ili Jednome. I jedna ili druga odluka je sasvim ispravna iz očitog razloga što ne postoji ispravno i neispravno. Ja sam vjerojatno kroz mnoge živote nanovo i nanovo birao dualizam. Čak to i radim i dalje. Ali eto, počelo me je sve više privlačiti Jedno i zato sve više i više stvari promatram na taj način.
Ja sam ujedno i Hitler i Majka Tereza i svi oni ubijeni od strane Hiltera i svi oni kojima je Majka Tereza pomogla. To je iz pozicije Jednoga. Smatrati da je Hitler ubio druge i da su oni žrtve i da su oni odijeljeni je perspektiva dualizma jer to znači da postoji agresor i postoji žrtva. I to je istina iz ljudske perspektive. I ako se smatrate prvenstveno ljudima, tada je to definitivno i istina za vas. I to je savršeno OK.
Činjenica je da koliko god neka moja uvjerenja bila čudna većini ljudi (pa iskreno i meni ponekad), postoje prosvjetljeni ljudi koji kroz svoje učenje daju takve poruke koje su u skladu sa onim što ja vjerujem. Ionako sam samopouzdan oko svojih uvjerenja, a ovako to postaje i puno lakše. Teško da mogu shvatiti previše ozbiljno kada mi onda netko dođe sa stavom "probudi se, u zabludi si i sl.".
