AIR RELEASE VALVE : AIR RELEASE
Air release valve : Solenoid valve for water : Valve actuator accessories.
Air Release Valve
- (Air Release Valves) These valves are usually fitted at the highest point on a water filter to release unwanted air in a system. They can be automatic - releasing air when a set pressure has been reached, or manually controlled by a valve. Sometimes called 'ARV's or AARV's'
- A valve, usually manually operated, which is used to release air from a pipe or fitting.
- A check type valve having a movable closing element (e.g., a ball) with a density less than the host liquid. When the closure element is surrounded by air, the valve automatically opens and will close when it is surrounded by liquid.

Joseph Olejniczak, (right) 4th Logistic Readiness Squadron terminal operations technician, observes Airman 1st Class Michael Tipton, 4th LRS distribution technician, as he opens the pressure release valve on a liquid oxygen tank here Jan. 5, 2010. Sprinkler System Valves Two 07-31-09
Started this project, a six zone sprinkler system on June 29th, 2009. All zones are in and working and I'll be covering the hole in a few days. The "cylindars" are 15 inch sections of 3" drain pipe with caps to cover automatic drain valves which drain water from pipes when the water is shut off. This prevents freezing damage in the winter.

- Pressure which ranges from about 10-4 torr (0.0001 torr) to approximately 10-8 torr (0.00000001 torr).
- High Vacuum is a science fiction novel by Charles Eric Maine. It was first published in 1957 by Ballantine Books.
- is vacuum where the MFP of residual gases is longer than the size of the chamber or of the object under test. High vacuum usually requires multi-stage pumping and ion gauge measurement. Some texts differentiate between high vacuum and very high vacuum.
Vacuum Tubes! 6BK4, 3AT2, leaded 6BK4
These are my other 3 X-ray producing tubes! Regardless of glass composition, a heck of a lot of the rays don't even pass through!
Left side is a standard 6BK4, the glass is browned heavily from having been emitting X-rays during its past use. It, like the one on the right side, only work when the cathode is heated, and so far I don't have enough battery power to get them to work good.
In the center is my standard 3AT2 tube in which many of my previous photos were taken with. This photo was shot with my JAN-CW-3B24, which is about 4X stronger than the 3AT2.
The tube on the right side has leaded glass, evident by it's greater weight, the greater opaqueness of its glass to my X-rays, and that it's got a warning stamped right on it warning about it emitting X-rays, clearly manufactured after the left version.

- colorless gas found in natural gas and petroleum; used as a fuel
- A flammable hydrocarbon gas of the alkane series, present in natural gas and used as bottled fuel
- This page provides supplementary chemical data on Propane.
- Propane is a three-carbon alkane, normally a gas, but compressible to a transportable liquid. It is derived from other petroleum products during oil or natural gas processing. It is commonly used as a fuel for engines, oxy-gas torches, barbecues, portable stoves and residential central heating.
