Diverter Valve Diaphragm
- valve employing a stem that depresses a diaphragm (membrane) to control flow, typically used in treatment of industrial wastewater.
- Valves which have a single inlet and direct water to one of two outlets. Diverters are used with handshowers, shower risers, tub & shower combinations, and kitchen faucet sprayers.
- Diverters are used in bathtubs, bidets, showers and sinks to guide water into many different outlets.
- A person or thing that diverts or is diverting; A valve used to change the flow of fluid through a system of pipes
Valve, diaphragm
Note the diaphragm that presses against the weir to control or stop the fluid flow. This is a good valve for a stream that contains solids.
