Easy mode/Hard Mode
By far the largest addition to the game is the addition of an easy and hard mode
Hard mode is identical to the original game in all respects.
Easy mode provides a less challenging experience with the following changes.
Cars corner better without drifting.
Cars can turn tighter while drifting.
Cars are 5% slower
AI opponents are slower
Checkpoint times are much more generous
You are allowed 5 crashes in perfection mode
Anything you unlock in one mode is also unlocked in the other mode. You can switch between modes at any time, at any point in the menu by tapping the mode display in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Stars and cups earned in easy mode will be grayed out in hard mode. Records for each setting are kept separate.
Camera Tilt On/Off (available via the ingame options menu, and main options menu)
You can now choose to have the camera tilt to compensate by tilting the other direction when you tilt your iPhone or iPod Touch to steer.
Auto Accelerate On/Off (available via the ingame options menu, and main options menu)
You can choose to have a car that accelerates automatically. With this option on the gas button is removed and you no longer need to touch any part of the screen to make your car accelerate. Reverse by holding the brake button.
Speedometer mph/kph (available via the main options menu)
You can choose to display your speed in Miles per hour or kilometers per hour
Variable gas and brake position (available via the ingame options menu, and main options menu)
You can choose move the gas and brake buttons to a position higher on the screen for comfort.
Tilt Drifting On/Off (available via the main options menu)
You can choose to change the way drifting is triggered. If you turn tilt drifting off, your car only will drift if you tap the brake hard turns will never trigger a drift.
Dot and stars replaced with stars and cups
The dots and stars used to indicate completion tracks and first place have been replaced with stars and cups.
Win Screens
You will be treated to a win screen when you complete or place first in every Arcade Race.
Fixes
Car Unlock bug fixed
Completing every timetrial will unlock the Super GT
Track Unlock bug fixed
Martand Raceway and Nichnill Circuit are no longer displayed with locked buttons when you unlock these tracks in Timetrial.
Less Memory Usage
Increased stability.
Pacecar fix
Pace cars are now visible in time trial replays.
