This amuses me greatly.

You know the stereotypical "bwahaha" villain laugh? I never could figure out before how one would actually do it.Then today I discovered one of my housemates laughs like that. Seriously.I also bought Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney yesterday, since it came out in Australia on Thursday. (And seriously, wtf is up with our super-late release dates?! PW3 hasn't even been released here yet!) I'm currently on the second case. Apollo is so adorkable. And I'm a Klavier fangirl already. The fact that he's a prosecutor who does not behave like a dickhead had me predisposed to like him anyway, and then he's just made of such WIN. But I see why people are pissed off about what happened to Phoenix. I liked him in the previous games and at the moment I just want to punch him. :(

I have learned something today.

Stupid tram was delayed like whoa today, so I missed class. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it was my Japanese reading and writing class, and I really like learning how to write kanji. :(However! After doing some homework, I went for a wander around the CBD hoping to find something interesting to buy. (I didn't.) I did get some creme-filled daifuku from an Asian grocery, though. I thought about getting some Ramune or Calpis or something as well, but was too chicken. And strawberry Fanta wtf Daifuku is really good! It's kind of weird to eat, but tasty. I WANT MOAR.Also been playing FF3 on my DS practically non-stop. It really says something about me that even though my characters are only level 28/29, my Monk is at job level 85 whereas my White Mage is only job level 40, doesn't it?

It was very hot today. (It was about 26C in my room when I got home at about five, with the curtains closed, and there are trees blocking direct sunlight, so it was probably closer to 30C outside.) But uni is over for the year, so I won't have to endure the summer heat in a Melbourne apartment with no air conditioning, which is always a plus. Whee.

Mid-semester tests: done and passed.Marketing major assignment: handed in.Accounting diary: completed and ready to be handed in tomorrow.So the only assessments I have left are for Japanese. I have to call my Japanese teacher for our final Spoken Japanese presentation (I tried to call her today, but I got confounded by the phone number. Wtf is with the + in front of it?), so I'll do that on Friday morning. Then the only thing left is to bring a photo and talk to her about in in week 12, then everything's done except for exams!Deverry books count: eight out of thirteen. (Found another one in a second-hand bookstore, yay!)Layout: changed again. It's pink!Also, my printer's behaving itself now, so I've been doing a bit more scanning of my KKJ kanzenban. Mostly I've just been scanning the little pictures in the ad section. At the end of October/start of November, I'm going to order the other three so expect more scans about late November. (I really wish volume six had Minazuki or Noin on the cover instead of Maron, though ...)Hmm, what else. Oh, yes. I've been watching OverDrive (sports anime, about cycling). I downloaded episode four today and if it doesn't get great after this I'm going to drop it. I really want to like it (cause hey, the Tour de France is pretty much the only sporting event I don't hate watching) but the protagonist needs a spine, stat.I've also watched the first two episodes of Gundam 00, and I haven't been able to decide if the Gundam Meisters are a) arrogant dickheads or b) idealistic morons. Lockon is cool, but Setsuna seems to me like a really foolhardy Heero. (Lockon and Setsuna are the only characters I can actually identify properly thus far.)Watching Dragonaut as well. The first episode is kind of confusing but it looks like it could be cool.Got Taiho Shichau zo Full Throttle episode one too. (Yes, I did go on a download rampage.) It's pretty spiffy, and even though it picks up after the second series it's easy to follow.

I forgot that my Marketing lecturer is away at a conference tonight, so my lecture was cancelled. I was supposed to go to the daytime one instead, but I completely forgot about it! o.o *feels both stupid and guilty*In better news: my birthday is on Friday. Yay!

So typical.

Earlier I posted about my printer refusing to let me do anything. Well, now it's miraculously fixed itself. Stupid printer. So, here are the promised scans.First, the dust jackets. You can't really tell in the scans, but the crosses in the corner are made of shiny metallic stuff.











Next, the actual covers. They're the sketchy versions of the dust jackets. The pictures do continue onto the back cover, but I didn't scan the backs.







At the start of each book, there's a colour picture drawn specially for the kanzenban. Sorry about the gutter shadow, but a) they were kind of hard to bend and b) I didn't want to ruin them.







This is the title page for the first kanzenban. The others are the same except for the colour used in the title.





Next is the contents page and the first colour page for each book.











Wherever there were ads in the magazine version, there's one of these. The picture differs for each one. This one's from the first volume.





After each chapter's colour pages, there's a short informative comic. This one's "A Semi-Angel's Duty". There's one about Miyako's family, one about the town they live in, and one about Maron's parents, for example. (And good god, I swear Maron's parents deserve to be shot. No wonder she has issues.)

Stupid bloody printer.

I got my Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne kanzenban today. They're so shiny and pretty! The dust jackets are made out of textured paper and everything. But when I went to scan them, my printer kept telling me that it can't recognize one of my ink tanks and that I couldn't scan until I fixed it. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it yet, the Internet is not helping, and Dad does not have his mobile phone with him (AS USUAL). I am not a happy little camper.Once I have it fixed, I will post scans. Hopefully it won't take too long. >.<

No ASUKA in the next Wings--so I guess it was either a lone yomikiri or they're doing something funky with it.However.From the Wings site:(With colour: "Dragon Knights Gaiden" Oukami Mineko)Wikipedia says "gaiden" is commonly used to refer to a spinoff (canonical or not) that is not officially a sequel nor a prequel.EDIT: After discussing this with Toriko, I think the Gaiden will actually be in the next Wings after this month's (I somehow managed to miss the date mentioned there). Which means it will be released on my birthday!

Why am I so short? ;_;

I can't reach the top shelves in the supermarket. I can't even get my fingers over the edge. .Also, toriko_roller tagged me on this meme about two weeks ago, but I only just remembered it. ^^1.
