I have to call my Japanese teacher for our final Spoken Japanese presentation (I tried to call her today, but I got confounded by the phone number. Wtf is with the + in front of it?), so I'll do that on Friday morning. Then the only thing left is to bring a photo and talk to her about in in week 12, then everything's done except for exams!Deverry books count: eight out of thirteen. (Found another one in a second-hand bookstore, yay!)Layout: changed again. It's pink!Also, my printer's behaving itself now, so I've been doing a bit more scanning of my KKJ kanzenban. Mostly I've just been scanning the little pictures in the ad section. At the end of October/start of November, I'm going to order the other three so expect more scans about late November. (I really wish volume six had Minazuki or Noin on the cover instead of Maron, though ...)Hmm, what else. Oh, yes. I've been watching OverDrive (sports anime, about cycling). I downloaded episode four today and if it doesn't get great after this I'm going to drop it. I really want to like it (cause hey, the Tour de France is pretty much the only sporting event I don't hate watching) but the protagonist needs a spine, stat.I've also watched the first two episodes of Gundam 00, and I haven't been able to decide if the Gundam Meisters are a) arrogant dickheads or b) idealistic morons. Lockon is cool, but Setsuna seems to me like a really foolhardy Heero. (Lockon and Setsuna are the only characters I can actually identify properly thus far.)Watching Dragonaut as well. The first episode is kind of confusing but it looks like it could be cool.Got Taiho Shichau zo Full Throttle episode one too. (Yes, I did go on a download rampage.) It's pretty spiffy, and even though it picks up after the second series it's easy to follow.
