Stadion nizozemskog nogometnog kluba PSV u Eindhovenu morao je biti evakuiran, pošto je za vrijeme zavarivanja buknuo plamen.

U požaru nije bilo ozljeđenih, a vatrogasci su brzo ugasili vatru na tribinama. Direktor PSV-a Marcel van den Bunder izjavio je da se čini da šteta nije velika. Sljedeću utakmicu PSV igra na svom stadionu 12. rujna sa Roda JC Kerkrade..

Staff at PSV Eindhoven's Phillips Stadium were briefly evacuated Tuesday after a fire broke out in one of the stands during welding work. There were no injuries reported.Photos posted on the club's Web site showed flames erupting from seating in the southwest stand and smoke pouring out of the stadium.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire."It looks like the damage is not too bad," PSV director Marcel van den Bunder said.PSV's next home game is scheduled for Sept. 12 against Roda JC Kerkrade. usa today
