NBA union head not confident of 2011-12 season
Given the lack of progress in labor negotiations between the NBA and its players and their significant financial gap, union executive director Billy Hunter is not confident of a 2011-12 season.

The sides are not close on player salaries. Over six years, there is a difference of nearly $2.41billion — $402 million a year — in the two proposals.
