Man. I´ve been looking at this site since it was started and never bothered to look at the ˝poruke˝section. Now that I´ve seen it it is now my turn to throw in my two cents. I live in Toronto, Canada, am 24 years old, and just graduated from the University of Toronto with an honours bachelorate in Statistics and Sociology. I am currently working under a professor at a different university on a Canadian government project which is looking at Eastern European immigration into Canada. Aside from the data gathering, we are also writing a book on the Croatian diaspora in Toronto, and this is why I applied to Task Force so that I can get a sense of everyone´s convictions, their motivation for doing such a wonderful thing, and apply this to my research. Needless to say I haven´t actually started any of my work since I´ve been to busy either mixing cement or getting trashed in the local town. In Toronto, I am also the former president of the University of Toronto Croatian Student Association, I play in two Croatian folklore groups, and am actively involved in the community. I am meeting many new friends here, and am confident that the memories that I will glean will last me for many years to come. #
