The Jordan 6-17-23 Returns In “Carmine”

While the Jordan 6-17-23 doesn’t boast the same popularity as propositions in the mainline Air Jordan series, it delivers a fresh approach to #23’s footwear legacy.

Last seen in 2014, the model’s “Carmine” colorway is set to return soon, with all the original specifications that made it popular among casual and savvy fans alike. As its name suggests, the pair features design cues from the Air Jordan 6 and later models, the former currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and lending the titular tone. The accompanying styles lend their sole unit, tongue and profile cutouts to the experiment of a sneaker.

Enjoy official images of the hybrid sneaker here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch before 2021 ends.

MICHAEL JORDAN'S DENIM 'FITS INSPIRES THIS WOMEN'S AIR JORDAN 1

18 veljača 2022

Jordan Brand continues to serve its women’s community with a slate of exclusives set to release this spring. Joining the Air Jordan 11 “Pure Violet” and Air Jordan 6 “Mint Foam,” Jumpman adds a denim AJ1 to its women’s offering. The stylish model has just been previewed via Instagram user @sneakerknockerzllc.

Rumored to be inspired by Michael Jordan‘s penchant for denim, the sneaker comes with frayed denim overlays contrasted by a white leather base. Classic doorknocker earrings inspire the shoe’s dubraes which feature a Jumpman logo and “Jordan” script.

The Air Jordan 1 OG Women’s “Denim” is expected to release sometime in June and has a rumored price tag of $170 USD.

In other footwear news, June Ambrose reinvents the classic PUMA sneaker.

Jordan Brand Says Off-White x Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ Not Releasing Riley Jones BYRILEY JONES

Among the many unreleased Off-White x Nike sneakers designed by the late Virgil Abloh is a “Bred” Air Jordan 4s first seen with a group of samples in Abloh’s 2019 “Figures of Speech” exhibit at MCA Chicago.

Pairs of unconfirmed legitimacy show up from time to time on social media, and there’s been speculation that the shoe will drop eventually. Despite the rumors, a Jordan Brand spokesperson tells Complex the “Bred” Off-White x Air Jordan 4 will remain unreleased. The source says the pairs were created in sample form only and that there are no plans to make them available to the public.

While it’s tough to confirm which pairs in the wild are authentic and which aren’t given the shoe’s unreleased status, one that can be safely assumed as legit was recently shared by designer and car connoisseur Arthur Kar. Abloh and Kar were close, with Kar providing vintage vehicles for Off-White’s FW20 show.

This Off-White x Air Jordan 4 takes cues from the original “Bred” (Black/Cement) colorway of the sneaker, memorably worn by Michael Jordan during 1989’s “The Shot” over Craig Ehlo.

While this colorway isn’t planned for a release, Abloh and Jordan Brand released a women’s Off-White x Air Jordan 4 “Sail” collaboration in 2020.
