16.05.1990 U pulskom rodilištu oko 1h rodila se beba koja nije pokazivala nikakve znakove života a kad su liječnici več htijeli napiasat osmrtnicu začuo se glas kao iz pakla Ha HA oživio sam.
To malo djete koje se nije razlikovalo od ni jednog drugog provodilo je dane i godine u sasvim običnoj obitelji no kad sam u 5 razredu čuo zvuk el.gitare i Metallicu počelo je moje oživljavanje iako nije dolazilo do prevelikog izražaja. Nakon 4 godine i pojave Bodoma u mom sablasnom životu pojavio se novi život u ovom tjelu. Ono malo djete nitko više ne poznaje osim po valjštini.

Jedan od ponajboljih švedskih metal bendova danas je svakako i Dissection koji je sa svojom dugom povijesti postojanja pokazao da sviraju i vole pravi death/black metal bez obzira na sve ostale faktore koji su se događale u bendu davnih dana. Dissection je osim po svojoj odličnoj metal glazbi poznat i po jednom svom jedinstvenom članu pjevaču/gitaristu Jon Nödtveidtu koji je zapravo i prava pokretačka snaga benda. Jon je prije nego li je Dissection ponovno okupljen 2004, bio u zatvoru nakon što su Dissection napravili legendarni album Storm Of The Lights Bane (1995) koji je sadržavao prave himne melodičnog death/black metala koji je tada bio pravo osvježenje na metal sceni, dok je danas dosta bendova melodični metal upropastio sa svojim čestim recikliranjem. Jon, dok je služio kaznu, naravno nije gubio vrijeme nepotrebno već je iza zatvorskih rešetaka pisao i radio glazbu, kao i tekstove za nadolazeće pjesme Dissectiona. Od 1995. godine Dissection je izdao nekoliko kompilacija i jedno odlično live izdanje naslovljeno Live Legacy (2003) koje je našlo svoje mjesto među kultnim izdanjima metala sadržavajući i Gods Of Darkness snimku iz 1997 godine zajedno sa Dimmu Borgirovim nastupom. Sljedeće 2004. godine Dissection servira svoj povratnički EP Maha Kali kojeg publika nije prihvatila baš najbolje zbog pomalo drugačijeg Jonovog pristupa stvaranju glazbe. I dalje je to bio Dissection, ali nešto modernijeg zvuka.
Spremanje za ovaj album vjerne fanove Dissectiona nije nešto posebno oduševljavao, premda su mu neki davali malu šansu za povratak na stariji zvuk. Ovaj album sam u početku preslušao nekoliko puta i bojim se reći da album nije ništa posebno. Neću reći da je album loš, daleko od toga, nego nešto mi se kod albuma nije svidjelo. Rekao bi da Jonu nedostaje malo više inovativnosti kod stvaranja ovakve glazbe. Pjesme su srednjeg tempa kojeg prate dobre gitarske solaže, ritmovi i riffovi sa ne tako suhoparnim bubnjevima kako mi se u prvi moment činilo. Premda su pjesme donekle zanimljive za slušanje previše je istih fora upotrebljavano nekoliko puta u nekoj od sljedećih pjesama i sve skupa zvuči dosta neinovativno. Jedan od svjetlijih trenutaka na albumu su po meni instrumentalne stvari, uvodna Nexion 218 i deveta Reinkaos koje su lijepo ukomponirane i nisu spetljanje na brzinu kako se danas može naći kod dosta bendova. Također malo sam ostao razočaran što na albumu nisam čuo upotrebljivanje akustične gitare za dobivanje određene dubine u pjesmama kod spomenutih instrumentalnih skladbi. Na albumu se na posljednjem mjestu našla i nekima ozloglašena pjesma Maha Kali koja je po meni sasvim solidna pjesma zanimljivog krajnjeg dijela sa uletima ženskih vokala, kao i refrenom koji ima originalan tekst.
Tematika pjesama na albumu se uglavnom bazira na jednim dijelom imaginarnoj mitologiji koju je Jon kombinirao sa njegovim prepoznatljivim tekstovima o smrti, okultizmu i sličnome što i nije toliko loše kad se malo bolje pogleda i presluša ovaj album. Zanimljivo je također spomenuti da je ovaj album izdan i kao specijalno limitirano izdanje na kojem se nalaze autogrami i ručno pisani nazivi pjesama od samih autora Dissectiona što je stvarno jedan od vrijednih izdanja za imati u kolekciji.
Na kraju svega teško je ocijeniti ovaj album gledajući ga i objektivno i subjektivno. Istina, Dissection se vratio na scenu sa novim albumom nakon gotovo 12 godina od Storm Of The Light's Bane albuma. Razlika u zvuku ima podosta, rekao bi da je i bit svega izmijena skoro do srži i ovaj album će biti teško za prožvakati za one koji znaju dušu originalnog Dissectiona.
