Brussel Sprouts-2
I like brussel sprouts. They're nice and healthy and a bit bitter and simple and easy and quick to cook.
So, this morning, I cleaned brussel sprouts and decided to make it simple (was - as usual - late for work). Here it is: 1/2kg brussel sprouts (uncleaned is 1/2kg) 100gr smoked ham, cut in pieces 2 small tomatoes lots of chilli pepper Steam your brussel sprouts for 10-15 minutes, depending how soft you want them. In the meantime, fry smoked ham for a minute, add sliced tomatoes and red chilli pepper (don't overdo in spices as I do, lol). Fry for another 2-4 minutes Put it all together and that's it. Now, later on I have remembered that I wanted to add some walnuts, too. So, when frying your ham, add approx 40gr walnuts and fry them a bit as well. Nice and crunchy! Breakfast: millet porridge with hazelnuts and grapes. Dinner: an apple, I think. Groetjes! |
