S obzirom da je Marina paralelno bila posvećena upravo navedenim školskim i vanškolskim aktivnostima, njeno vreme je uvek bilo kvalitetno ispunjeno i obaveze koje je imala i koje je naučila da redovno ispunjava, učinile su da odraste u jednu disciplinovanu i kvalitetno usmerenu ličnost, koja svoju pažnju i svoje vreme ne rasipa na površne i na nekvalitetne stvari. Slobodno vreme koje joj je ostajalo, Marina je delila sa drugaricama, kao i sa svojim rođenim bratom koji zauzima posebno mesto u njenom životu i sa kojim je i danas kada su oboje odrasli i kada je on već i oženjen, izuzetno vezana.
