Table 80, Britannia Room
The site of many good meals.
We had the same table every night, and Liz and I sat with Meg and Nancy to begin with. Later, Linda and Jane came to join us which made it even more fun. Our group was seated together.
Normally you are seated at tables with people you don't know, which I always think is fun. Liz and I met some cool people doing that at lunch time. And then we met this SUUUUPER OLD dood from Cambridge, Massachussetts but he had a British accent! I would've never known he was American except he said so! I guess that one area around Harvard is some strange time warp where the accent never changed (I think he mentioned Harvard Square). Either that or he was just really, really old. I don't think I need to mention that he was filthy rich. Also he had a snooty Canadian wife who was like 20 years younger than him.
end table
{crate & barrel} oval end table for the couch and next to your accent chair in the livingroom. when you have so many square elements in the room it really needs a circle to soften it up!
