Science (from the Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is, in its broadest sense, any systematic knowledge that is capable of resulting in a correct prediction (i.e. falsifiability in Karl Popper's sense) or reliable outcome.

Els protagonistes del curs Science & Cooking de Harvard University i la Fundacio Alicia van donar-se cita a Esade per posar en comu i compartir les seves experiencies en aquesta iniciativa historica de dialeg entre dos mons: la cuina i la ciencia. Un dels participants a l'acte, el passat 23 de maig de 2011, es el xef Nandu Jubany, que aquest any repetira com un dels ponents del curs a la universitat nord-americana.
