my first self-made hat
Back in May, I found this wool while on a shopping trip with my wife and mom, and started learning how to knit with circular needles. I got about 85 percent of the way done and realized I needed to transfer it to double-pointed needles, but I was distracted by other things and never got to that point.
Last night, while cleaning the living room, I found the yarn and found the hat, looking for a bit of love. So I rescued a few of the drop stitches, got it transferred, and finished it up.
It was the first thing I've knitted that wasn't a scarf. I'm going to wear it out today.
