Peaceful mind = Peaceful life

STJEPAN IVAN HORVAT

As a priest, I have repeatedly encountered a situation in which someone suffers domestic violence and even though she is struggling, she does nothing because she has already somehow learned to live with it. I have never been in the shoes of such people, nor have I experienced such a situation in my family, but it is difficult for me to understand that someone learns to live with it and does nothing and still has the strength to call that suffering love ...
Remember it's not love ...
If the same hands that hug you beat and hurt you, it’s not love.
If the person who says he loves you is the same one who destroys you, humiliates your self-esteem by telling you that you are worth nothing, it is not love.
If the person you love throws flaws in your face and neglects all your qualities that are worth far more than your flaws, it is not love.
If the person you love is constantly hurting you, it's not love.
If the person you love is sickly controlling you, it is not love.
If you are afraid to be who you are with the person you love, it is not love.
If you cry more than you laugh with the person you love, it is not love.
This is called abuse and torture, not love.
If you are experiencing things like this or a person close to you is experiencing them, don't be silent ...
