Paint Your Target, the debut full length of the guys from Saarland is like a fresh wind in the punk-rock world as it combines two types of genres which usually do not fit very well. It is elaborated songwriting, that distinguishes the mix of brass lines that animate to start to dance, furious shouts, powerfully arranged parts, and melodic hooks from other ska-punk releases. Paint Your Target fits for every situation, no matter if you want to have a cool beer in soothing surroundings or hard hitting tunes to let off steam. The melancholic moment, which is characteristic for the full length though the band has a highly positive attitude, ties up to the dependence of the one with the other. Frankly speaking, there’s no sorrow without laughing and there’s no laughing without sorrow. Paint Your Target combines those two elements and creates something ambivalent but nevertheless something that can be defined. It’s something that won’t stop just because it meets objections or concerns. It’s something that tears down those boundaries in an impressive and precise way. Paint Your Target is the fresh wind that will blow through your hi-fi system, waking up your dusty speaker, to shout it out loud into this world. The Wrecking Dead started out in 2001 playing local shows in Copenhagen, Denmark. In September 2001, we produced our highly acclaimed demo CD that was featured on the “It Came From Hell vol. 4” compilation. In July 2002 the debut full length album was released on Crazy Love Records. The album received a great deal of attention because of the unconventional mix of Psychobilly, Street Punk and Oi, something which had not been heard before in the Psychobilly music scene.

Up Front was a hardcore band from New York. They were an influential part of the late 80s New York hardcore and Connecticut Straight Edge scenes. They played many of their early shows at the now famous Anthrax Club in Norwalk, CT. In 1987 they appeared on the X Marks The Spot compilation 7 inch, one of the first documents of the burgeoning Connecticut Straight Edge scene.
In 1988 they released their Spirit LP, and a Summer tour followed in 1989 with Unit Pride, Insted and Gorilla Biscuits. Up Front remained active through 1992, releasing the Daybreak 7 inch in 1990, touring the US again in the Summer of 1991, and completing their first tour of Europe in the Winter of 1991-1992.
They initially broke up after recording the Changes 7 inch in 1992, but reformed in the Spring of 1994 to record the What Fire Does 7 inch followed with their 2nd tour of Europe that Summer.
After a brief hiatus Up Front wrote and recorded the Movement CD in 1997. After a handful of US shows, a tour of Japan in 1998, and their third Summer tour of Europe in 1999 followed.
Other than three "reunion" shows in the Summer/Fall of 2005, the band has remained dormant since 1999.
