Fans of quality folk-punk prepare yourselves for the next top act to hit your stereos – all the way from Australia we are proud to present you with The Go Set. Formed in 2003, the sound of The Go Set is hard to categorize as it encompasses a variety of musical styles. From the traditional celtish sounds, to folk, to seventies punk, lyrically backed with political and social conscious lyrics, avoiding cliches and including their own sense of humour. An explosive cocktail of Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, mixed with the songwriting style of Billy Bragg. Their new album goes a litlle back to their roots: less balads, more Punk, compared to their previous album A Journey For A Nation. In early 2008 the band hit the European stages for the first time and have left a firm and lasting impression with fans across the continent. A new tour is in the works for June/ July, including some dates in the UK. Watch out for them and enjoy their entertaining show with a cold lager in your hand.
