UPDATE: William Ben Ownby and Shawn Hornbeck were found Friday afternoon in an apartment in Kirkwood. Ben, 13, went missing on Monday after getting off his school bus near his Beaufort, Missouri home. Sources tell FOX 2 News that the FBI stormed a house in Kirkwood and florida lotto Ben along with Shawn Hornbeck who had been missing since 2002. Hornbeck was last seen riding his bike on Oct. 6 in Richwoods, MO.

Police say they went to serve a search warrant and that resulted in the recovery.

Both boys appear to be okay. They will be checked out.

There was a tip on the truck that led them to the area.

Under arrest is, Michael J. Devlin, 41, of Kirkwood, Missouri with one count of kidnapping. He is in custody being held on $1 million bond. More charges are likely to be filed.

Shawn Hornbeck was 11 years old when he disappeared. He is now 15.

Other children still missing

Bianca Noel Piper, disappeared March 10, 2006. Bianca, 13, was
let out of the car to walk about a mile to her home in Lincoln County
near Foley, something a mental health professional had suggested and
her mother had done before to let her calm down after a quarrel. She
has not been seen since.

Arlin Henderson, disappeared July 25, 1991. Arlin, 11, went to

never came home. In 2001, Joshua sag awards confessed to killing Arlin at
the behest of two other men, pleaded guilty of murder and testified
against them, then recanted and admitted that he made up the whole

Scott Allen Kleeschulte, disappeared June 8, 1988. Scott, 9, was
last seen playing in the neighborhood near his home in St. Charles
shortly before a thunderstorm. He never returned home.

Christian Ferguson, disappeared June 11, 2003. Christian, 9, was

the SUV was stolen when he stopped to make a phone call at 6 a.m. at
Skinker & Page. The vehicle was found two hours later, but
Christian wasn’t in it. He hasn’t been seen since.

Heather Kullorn, disappeared July 15, 1999. Heather, 12,
was baby-sitting the infant daughter of some family friends in Richmond
Heights. The baby’s father said he came home to find the infant alone
and Heather gone. Her body has never been found.

Gina Dawn Brooks, disappeared August 5, 1989. Gina, 13, was
abducted by two men in a station wagon as she rode her bike near her
home in Fredericktown, Mo. A murder charge was filed against Nathan D.
Danny Williams, a convicted child rapist, in 2003, but it was dropped
for lack of evidence. Her body has never been found.

Cermen Lamount Toney Jr., disappeared Nov. 6, 2005. Cermen, 4,
and his baby-sitter, 19-year-old Anquiaette M. Parker, who was about
eight months pregnant, were last seen in the State Park Place area near
Collinsville.

UPDATE: Questions Remain

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Devlins relatives also were
shocked by the case and said they had no idea the boy was with him.

At Imos Pizzeria, where Devlin was a manager, an employee who did not
want to be identified told the newspaper that a boy called the
restaurant Friday afternoon looking for Devlin, who was being
questioned by the FBI at the time. The worker noticed on the caller ID
that the call came from Devlins home. The boy told him, Im Shawn
Wilcox. My father is a friend of Mike Devlin.

The case recalls the improbable survival of Elizabeth Smart, the Salt
Lake City teen taken for nine months by a religious zealot. After her
return, many questioned why she didnt flee her captors, despite many
apparent chances at freedom.

Stephen Golding, a forensic psychologist who examined the suspect in
the Smart case, said captors often establish control over their victims
through fear.

People are led to believe, through someone taking advantage of their
vulnerabilities, that leaving is not an option, that things will get
worse for them or will get worse for others, Golding said.

Both boys were abducted from rural areas of eastern Missouri, both
about an hour from metro St. Louis. Hornbeck disappeared Oct. 6, 2002,
while riding his bike in Richwoods in Washington County. Ownby was
taken soon after getting off a school bus Monday afternoon in the
Franklin County town of Beaufort, a beat-up white pickup seen by a
schoolmate the only real clue.

On Thursday night, police in Kirkwood, an upper middle class suburban
town, noticed a truck matching the description while serving an
unrelated warrant at a nearby apartment.

When FBI agents walked into a suburban St. Louis apartment a day later,
13-year-old Ben Ownby asked them, Are you going to take me home?, and
another teenager in the modest dwelling identified himself as Shawn
Hornbeck - reported missing 4 1/2 years ago.

Obviously it was quite euphoric, FBI Special Agent Roland Corvington said Saturday.
