I see the candle light burning in your
eyes, flareing up my eyes in flames
On this pitch-black summer night...
of passion and pain
The razor caressed my flesh
and my arms turned red, I feel a vast desire
Years of pain are flowing down my arms.
Sweet, red, warm stream you drink, make me released
Give me your hand, let me make you feel the ease,
in the bed of razors we bleed together...
I feel the fire burning in my heart,
I see it sparkling in your eyes
The blaze you're feeding more and more
The razor caressed your flesh and your arms turned red.
I feel your vast desire
Tearing pain is flowing down your arms.
Sweet, red, warm stream I drink to make you released
Holding your arms, cherish this composure,
in the bed of razors we sleep together, forever......
HIM-DARK LIGHT
Shivers run through the spine
Of hope as she cries
the poison tears of a life denied
In the raven black night
Holding hands with
Dark light
Come shine in her lost heart tonight
And blind
All fears that haunt her
With your smile
Dark Light
In oblivion's garden
Her body's on fire
Writhing towards the angel defiled
To learn how to die
In peace with her God
Dark light
Come shine in her lost heart tonight
And blind
All fears that haunt her with
Your smile
Dark Light...
ENSIFERUM- GOBLIN'S DANCE
Once in the time of chaos,
of sunless days and of unhappiness.
The statue of the triumphant master
stood proud and grim.
In the light of three descending moons,
in twisted and cracked open.
Unleashing the Goblin King
once again, for the last time.
CHORUS 1:
"Now the Victory is ours !"
"Let us dance the dance of Immortals"
CHORUS 2:
They shrieked, as they marched
up and down the hills,
in the sighing face of earth
Misfortune and Chaos,
Grief and Destruction.
The works of Dreaming evil,
and the joy of unholiness.
No soul was left alone,
in the mayhem of the human race,
"Hahahahaa!!!. Let us joy. Let us dance!!!"
So they danced their macabre dances
REPEAT CHORUS 1
From the three ascending moons,
moonshine was spilling onto the ground,
Gruesome trophies were all around
In the halls of the Goblin King
REPEAT CHORUS 1,2
SATYRICON- POSSESSED

Mourning the decay
Bitter ungodly enemy
Cast into heavy woe
Left in the corner of the world (we are possessed)
Out of the maze, with clearsight - at the brink of one's abyss
Out of the maze, with clearsight - cold eyes at the world
Out of the maze, with clearsight - disbelief and scorn
Out of the maze, with clearsight - not poisoned by your fraud (we are possessed)
The realisation of the position
No longer vulnerable
Having played the music no one could understand
Serenade to the devil's den - He, the final frontier!
Defaming judgement
Upon the starving souls
Mourning self-made pestilence
Cannon fodder for the
Apocalypse
A haunt for every unclean spirit
Lord of the flies or kingdom of death
Circle the prey, show them your eyes,
They bear witness of centuries of might
Predecessor who blessed us with grace
In sempiternal fight
Excessive aggression -
Fire is the definite sign of rebirth!
The elders' electrons channelled through you
Carried by thy night Supremacy
Born to win this battle, defeat is the tongue
Of the whore.....
HAMMERFALL-NATURAL HIGH
Last night I had a vivid dream.
I found a place where nothing’s what it seems.
I’m bound to walk this earth alone.
I am a hunter and the heir to the throne.
The chase of blood and sweet revenge.
It keeps on hammering in my head.
The urge to kill is getting stronger.
I’m south of heaven, north of hell.
My final place to rest.
Surrender your soul.
Surrender your pride.
Please enter my dream.
Find your natural high.
You’ve got nothing to fear.
Cause your rebirth is near.
The battle rages deep inside.
No where to run for my eternal bride.
And when the darkness comes around.
I come alive cause, glorious we, by blood I am bound.
I taste your blood so bitter sweet.
Come ease my pain get on your knees.
You know throughout is meant to be.
Forever missed out what it seems.
This is your final scream.
Surrender your soul.
Surrender your pride.
Please enter my dream.
Find your natural high.
You’ve got nothing to fear.
Cause your rebirth is near.
So you are born again.
To a higher plane.
In my dark lair you’re part of the game.
Forever we are, forever we’ll be.
We’re forever free.
[Solo: Stephan]
[Solo: Oscar]
Surrender your soul.
Surrender your pride.
Please enter my dream.
Find your natural high.
You’ve got nothing to fear.
Cause your rebirth is near..

studijski albumi
* Pentagram (1994)
* Antichrist (1996)
* Under the Sign of Hell (1997)
* Destroyer - Or About How To Philosophize With the Hammer (1998)
* Twilight of the Idols - In Conspiracy With Satan (2003)

Emperor is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1991. Over the years, the band's changed to what can be called "extreme symphonic metal" in their later days. They dissolved in 2001, and reformed in late 2005. The group was founded by Samoth on drums and Ihsahn on guitar and vocals.
In their youth, Ihsahn and Samoth met at a rock music seminar. The two young men began playing together under various names; first Dark Device, then Xerasia, then Embryonic. The group soon evolved into the now well-known band Thou Shalt Suffer. Soon, however, Samoth began to write music outside of Thou Shalt Suffer, and together with Ihsahn and a new bass player called Mortiis (later of his own eponymous band Mortiis), Emperor was formed. After a short while together, the band released a demo entitled Wrath of the Tyrant. It quickly gained popularity in the underground and attracted the attention of the then-start-up label Candlelight. Soon afterwards, a record contract was signed, Samoth moved to rhythm guitar, Ihsahn continued the vocal duties and lead guitars and Faust was recruited as a drummer.
In the summer of 1992, a series of events were set in motion by the black metal inner circle. Members of Mayhem and Samoth, along with various other black metallers, set out to burn down the ancient churches of Norway. Also in 1992, Faust was in Lillehammer to see the newly constructed Olympic park. A homosexual man named Rhys Adamec approached him and suggested that they go together in the nearby forest. Faust agreed, and once in the forest, stabbed the man to death. He was not convicted until a year later. After Faust committed the murder, he went with members of Mayhem to burn bibles and hymnals at a nearby ski-jump. In the summer of 1993, the band began working on their first full-length record. Emperor were supported by the famous British group Cradle of Filth on tour, and after this tour the band ceased wearing corpse paint; they stated that it was becoming a trend and losing its original significance and symbolism. In the autumn of that year, the police began to investigate the murder of Euronymous of Mayhem, naming Varg Vikernes (of Burzum) as a suspect; this investigation eventually led to the incarceration of Samoth for arson, and of Faust for the murder of the homosexual man in Lillehammer.
In 1994, In the Nightside Eclipse was released, and earned Emperor widespread acclaim and a large fanbase. The album is considered by many a definitive black metal record, with its epic, evolving song structures, ambient keyboard sounds, and raspy, spewed vocals.
After Samoth's parole, the band was joined by Trym on drums, and in the end of 1996, Emperor entered the studio to record Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. Featuring a much more progressive sound than their earlier output, Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk was a much more commercial effort, winning the album of the year poll in many popular metal magazines around the world, including UK Terrorizer and US Metal Maniacs.
Now continuing their career as a trio, with Ihsahn handling keyboards, vocals, guitars and bass, the band recorded their third album IX Equilibrium and toured Europe and the United States. It was around 2000 when Samoth and Trym started to gravitate more towards death metal, while Ihsahn directed his musical exploration towards the more artistic and progressive side of extreme metal, as shown by his side project, Peccatum. Thus, in 2001, Emperor decided to disband after releasing one final album, Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise, composed entirely by Ihsahn.
Following the breakup, Samoth and Trym continued playing in the black/death metal outfit Zyklon, while Ihsahn concentrated on his family project Peccatum. Later Ihsahn announced a solo project, much in the vein of Prometheus: The Discipline of Fire & Demise and Peccatum, featuring drummer Asgeir Mickelson of Borknagar and Vintersorg. It has generated positive feedback in the black metal community.
Recently Ihsahn announced an Emperor Tablature Book based on their Scattered Ashes: A Decade of Emperial Wrath compilation album containing thirteen Emperor tracks from their back catalogue. It will be transcribed by Ihsahn with a foreword also by him and is to be released October 31 via Candlelight Records.
An other announcement was that all the Emperor albums would be re-issued with a bonus poster on Aug. 21, 2007.
The band played a surprise three-song show in Oslo on 30 September 2005, at which they announced a series of full concerts to take place in California, New York City and Europe in 2006. As of February 2006, they were also scheduled to play at the Inferno festival in April and Wacken Open Air in August. Samoth unfortunately was unable to take part in the US tour dates having served time for arson and violence, so Emperor performed without him.
On 7 October 2006, Emperor performed at the under-18 Motstřy-festival in their home town of Notodden. The band had wanted to do an under-18 gig and a gig at their home town, so the festival fit perfectly. It was held at a small venue called StuA, and with only 450 tickets available, the concert was sold out in short time.
On the 28th of October 2006, Emperor returned to the UK to play a gig at London's Astoria venue, where the band was warmly greeted by fans. In 2007 Emperor played a series of one off shows in the United States and two festival gigs, in France and Finland.

CRADLE OF FILTH
Cradle of Filth is a heavy metal band formed in Suffolk, England in 1991. It has been embraced and disowned with equal fervour by various metal communities, and its particular subgenre has provoked a great deal of discussion. The band's sound evolved from black metal to a cleaner and more "produced" amalgam of gothic metal, symphonic black metal and other extreme metal styles, while its lyrical themes and imagery are heavily influenced by gothic literature, poetry, mythology and horror films. The band has successfully broken free of its original niche by courting mainstream publicity (often to the chagrin of its early fanbase), and this increased accessibility has brought coverage by the likes of Kerrang! and MTV, frequent main stage appearances at major festivals such as Ozzfest and Download, and in turn a more "commercial" image. It is sometimes perceived as satanic by casual observers, although its outright lyrical references to satanism are few and far between, and its use of satanic imagery has arguably always had more to do with the shock value than any seriously-held beliefs. According to Metal Hammer magazine, it is the most successful British metal band since Iron Maiden In March 2003 "Babalon A.D. (So Glad for the Madness)" was the first DVD-only single to reach the U.K. top 40, according to the Guinness book of records of British Hit singles and Albums.
Cradle's first three years saw four demos recorded amidst the sort of rapid line-up fluctuations that have continued ever since (Cradle has generally had around half a dozen members at any one time, but can boast more than twenty musicians in its history). The band eventually signed to Cacophonous Records and its debut album, The Principle of Evil Made Flesh, was also Cacophonous's first release in 1994. A step up in terms of production from the rehearsal quality of most of their demos, the album was still nevertheless a sparse and embryonic version of what was to come, with lead singer Dani Filth's vocals in particular bearing little similarity to the style he was later to develop. The album was well-received however, and as recently as June 2006 found its way into Metal Hammer's list of the top ten black metal albums of the last twenty years.
Cradle's relationship with Cacophonous soon soured; the band accusing the label of contractual and financial mismanagement. Acrimonious legal proceedings took up most of 1995, and the band finally signed to Music for Nations in 1996 after only one more contractually obligated Cacophonous recording: the EP Vempire or Dark Faerytales in Phallustein which, it has since been conceded, was hastily written as a Cacophonous escape-plan. Despite the circumstances of its release however, its handful of tracks are staples of the band's live sets to this day, and "Queen of Winter, Throned" was listed among twenty-five "essential extreme metal anthems" in a 2006 issue of Kerrang! magazine. The EP also marked Sarah Jezebel Deva's debut with the band, replacing Andrea Meyer; Cradle's first female vocalist and self-styled "satanic advisor".Deva has appeared on every subsequent Cradle release and tour, but has never been considered a full band member, having also performed with The Kovenant, Therion and Mortiis, and fronted her own Angtoria project along with Cradle's current bass player, Dave Pybus.
Cradle of Filth's first three demos bore a death metal feel, with occasional symphonic elements. However, when they released their fourth demo, Total Fucking Darkness, their genre became more akin to black metal. Their "true" black metal status however, has been in debate since near the time they became popular.Dani, in a 1998 interview for BBC Radio 5 for example, said "I use the term heavy metal, rather than black metal, because I think that's a bit of a fad now. Call it what you like: death metal, black metal, any kind of metal...", while Gavin Baddeley's 2006 Terrorizer interview states that "few folk, the band included, call Cradle black metal these days."
Their format differs from most black metal, and they have thus, at one time or another, been labeled symphonic black metal;extreme gothic metal;melodic black metal;satanic metal; vampyric metal;speed metal;death metal;brutal death metal;melodic death metal;and horror metal, some of which are regarded by critics and fans alike as entirely apocryphal categories. They are often dismissed for a perceived lack of credibility, along with bands such as Dimmu Borgir whose success followed in Cradle’s wake.
However, the band's evolving sound has allowed them to continue resisting definitive categorisation. They are audibly influenced by Iron Maiden, have collaborated on projects like Christian Death's Born Again Anti-Christian album (on the track "Peek-A-Boo"), and have even dabbled outside of metal music with their controversial[citation needed] dance remixes ("Twisting Further Nails", "Pervert's Church" etc), although these have fallen by the wayside in recent years. In a 2006 interview with Terrorizer magazine, current guitarist Paul Allender said "We were never a black metal band. The only thing that catered to that was the make-up. Even when The Principle of Evil Made Flesh came out — you look at Emperor and Burzum and all that stuff — we didn't sound anything like that. The way that I see it is that we were, and still are now, an extreme metal band."
Appearing on the BBC music quiz Never Mind the Buzzcocks on April 9 2001, Dani wryly claimed Cradle's sound as "heavy funk", but his stated position on the band’s genre is that "We'd rather be known as solely Cradle of Filth, I think, than be hampered by stupid genre barriers."

Carpathian Forest
is a Norwegian black metal band formed by Nattefrost and Nordavind in 1990. Since the release of the band's now-legendary Bloodlust & Perversion demo in 1992 and the Journey through the Cold Moors of Svarttjern promo of 1993, Carpathian Forest has gained a cult status in the Norwegian black metal scene.
Carpathian Forest is unique among black metal bands in that its usual lyrical themes deal with not only satanism, evil, and anti-Christianity, but also are about sodomy, sadism, sexual depravity, suicide, and other morbid subjects in addition to usual black metal themes, with much of the lyrical content being rather tongue-in-cheek and campy.
The band's most recent album, Fuck You All!!!!, was released on June 16, 2006 and Carpathian Forest is currently engaged in a worldwide tour.

Deicide is an American death metal band. The word "deicide" means "the killing of deities" or, in the Christian era "the killing of God or Jesus Christ". The word can also mean "one who kills God". The band has sold close to 500,000 releases (taking into consideration both CD and VHS sales) in the USA since the SoundScan era, making them one of the best selling death metal bands of all time. Their albums Deicide and Legion are also ranked second and third place in best-selling death metal albums of that era.
Deicide was formed in Tampa, Florida in 1987, first playing under the name Carnage. After Glen Benton joined the name was changed to Amon. During this time they released two demos: Feasting the Beast (1987) and Sacrificial (1989). In 1989 the band's name was changed to Deicide by force of Roadrunner Records, as Amon was the name of the house in the King Diamond album "Them". Deicide then released their self-titled debut album in 1990.
The band's original lineup consisted of Glen Benton on bass and vocals, brothers Eric and Brian Hoffman on guitars, and Steve Asheim on drums. Both Eric and Brian tended to play complex solos at fast speeds and with overlapping riffs, which gave Deicide the definitive heavy sound and complex song structures. This lineup remained intact until November 25, 2004 in the wake of increasing animosity between Glen Benton and the Hoffman brothers - allegedly in regards to royalties and publishing. The guitar roles were then filled by ex-Cannibal Corpse guitarist Jack Owen, and Vital Remains guitarist Dave Suzuki. Following the tour, Suzuki was replaced by Ralph Santolla, formerly of Death, Iced Earth and Sebastian Bach. Santolla stated he is a Catholic and this has received a small amount of shock and ridicule from some metal fans. In spite of this, Deicide's eighth studio album The Stench of Redemption album received rave reviews, and is one of their biggest sellers yet.[citation needed]
On May 24th, 2007, it was announced that Ralph Santolla had left Deicide. He has since joined Florida death metal formation Obituary. Santolla appears on their new album "Xecutioner's Return" - replacing the unavailable Allen West - and will be touring with them in support of this album.
On July 20th, 2007 guitarist Jack Owen (ex-Cannibal Corpse) announced that "Deicide is on hiatus" and he has joined Ohio based death/thrash combo Estuary for touring purposes. The band will head out on a Balkan tour, dubbed "Balkans AssassiNation Tour", in October 2007 alongside Krisiun, Incantation and Inactive Messiah. The tour organised by acclaimed Polish booking agency Massive Music.
Earache Records president Digby Pearson confirmed Earache received eight new DEICIDE songs in demo form, and they are incredible, like The Stench of Redemption [2006] material but now even faster, if such a thing is possible. The band — Glen, Jack, Steve and probably Dave Suzuki of Vital Remains (ex-guitarist Ralph Santolla might just appear as guest soloist?) will more than likely enter Morrisound Recording in September 2007 to record the new album. Earache Records will officially announce its release nearer the time, probably in stores around January 2008.
Deicide has received considerable controversy relating to their albums and lyrics, which include vehement anti-Christian themes. This was reinforced by frontman Glen Benton branding an inverted cross into his forehead.
Ostensibly in order to prove his genuine Satanic nature, Benton claimed in the early 1990s that he would commit suicide at the age of 33. However, he passed that age in 1997 and did not commit suicide. In 2006, he stated that these statements had been "asinine remarks" and that "only cowards and losers" choose to kill themselves.
Deicide has been banned from playing in several venues (such as Valparaiso, Chile over a promotional poster featuring Jesus Christ with a bullet hole in his forehead) and with various festivals such as Hellfest, after several graves had been spray-painted with "When Satan Rules His World", which is a song from Deicide's 1995 album Once Upon the Cross. More recently, their music video for "Homage for Satan", which features blood-splattered zombies on a rampaging mission to capture a priest, was banned from UK music TV channel Scuzz.
In the early 1990s, Deicide was on tour in Europe with Gorefest, a Dutch death metal band. In Stockholm, and after the first band performed, a bomb was detonated in the club they were playing in. Many people blamed animal rights activists who were angered at Deicide's lyrical themes of animal sacrifice, but Glen Benton blamed the incident on the fanatical black metal fans.

Homage for Satan - Deicide

Cannibal Corpse is an American death metal band founded in 1988. The band has since released ten studio albums, one boxed set, and one live album. Although Cannibal Corpse has had virtually no radio or television exposure, a cult following began to build behind the group with albums like 1991's Butchered at Birth and 1992's Tomb of the Mutilated. Cannibal Corpse has sold over 1 million records worldwide, including 558,929 in the United States, making them one of the best selling death metal bands of all time.
Cannibal Corpse mostly draws influence from thrash metal bands, such as Slayer;[5] other death metal bands, such as Death, have also played a major role in establishing their sound, along with Kreator. Cannibal Corpse has gained some infamy for their horror fiction-themed album covers and lyrics, including gore, mutilation, murder, torture, rape, and death.
Cannibal Corpse formed from the ashes of three Buffalo-area death metal bands, Beyond Death (Webster, Owen), Leviathan (Barnes), and Tirant Sin (Barnes, Rusay, Mazurkiewicz). The band played their first show at Buffalo's River Rock Cafe in April 1989, shortly after recording a five-song demo tape Cannibal Corpse. Within a year of that first gig, the band was signed to Metal Blade Records and their full-length, debut album, Eaten Back to Life, was released in August 1990. It is also known for its song and album titles. Like other death metal groups who have songs about rape, murder, and necrophilia, the band's lyrics and the imagery on their album covers (drawn by Vincent Locke) are often explicitly sexual and violent, to an extremity that is far beyond many. Their albums were censored and banned in several countries; in Germany, they were not allowed to play any song of their first three albums in concert, not allowed to play at all in the state of Bavaria, not allowed to display the original cover images, nor to print the lyrics in their CD booklets.[citation needed] They were banned in Australia but were allowed to perform there for a 2006 tour.
Much like directors who helm zombie horror films, Cannibal Corpse prides itself on its graphic imagery as nothing more than an extreme form of over-the-top entertainment. As vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher comments in the music documentary Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, "it's art, just look at it as art. Yeah, it's disgusting...but go to the Vatican and look at some of the art there. That's real, that's representing something that's real, that could happen. This [artwork], you know, that's never going to happen...monsters aren't going to rip out of people's bodies anytime soon."
Fisher also stated his frustration in an interview regarding the censorship of live performances of certain songs, saying "we can play 'Dismembered and Molested' in Germany but we cannot play 'Born in a Casket'. Which one sounds worse?" Song titles include "Entrails Ripped from a Virgin's Cunt", "Fucked with a Knife", "Meat-Hook Sodomy", and "Necropedophile". In May 1995, then-Senator Bob Dole mentioned the band by name and accused them of violating human decency. Cannibal Corpse also enjoyed a brief cameo in the 1994 Jim Carrey film Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, performing their song "Hammer Smashed Face." (Carrey actually insisted that they perform in the movie because they were his favorite band.)
Cannibal Corpse has had many line-up changes over the years. In 1993, founding member and guitarist Bob Rusay left the group (he is now a golf instructor) and was ultimately replaced by Malevolent Creation guitarist Rob Barrett. In 1995, vocalist Chris Barnes was dismissed from the band for musical differences (he is now the vocalist of Six Feet Under and Torture Killer) and was replaced with Monstrosity's vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, who is known for his record-long screams in songs such as "Devoured by Vermin" and "They Deserve to Die." In 1997, Barrett, who originally replaced Rusay on guitar, left Cannibal Corpse to rejoin his previous band Malevolent Creation. After Barrett left, he was replaced by Nevermore guitarist Pat O’Brien who first appeared on their 1998 release Gallery of Suicide. Founding member and guitarist Jack Owen left Cannibal Corpse in 2004 to spend more time on his second band, Adrift. He joined the band Deicide in late 2005 and is featured on their latest album, The Stench of Redemption. Jeremy Turner of Origin briefly replaced him as second guitarist on 2004's Tour of the Wretched. Barrett rejoined the band in 2005 and is featured on their latest album, Kill, which was released March 21, 2006 on Metal Blade Records. In 2005 the guest book of Cannibal Corpse's web site was shut down due to vandalism by non-fans, mocking death metal as a whole.
Bassist Alex Webster mentioned in his recent interview that Cannibal Corpse will begin writing a new album sometime in November 2007.

DARKTHRONE is a Norwegian black metal band formed in 1986. They began as a death metal outfit under the name of Black Death.
The band was formed in Kolbotn, Norway in 1986 as Black Death, the band released several demo cassettes and were subsequently signed to Peaceville Records on a four album contract. After changing their name to Darkthrone, the band released their first full length album, Soulside Journey. The album was cleanly produced in a technical death metal style characterised by progressive song structure, complex drumming patterns, and fast, accurate riffing (a style popular with Swedish death metal at the time - as Uffe of Entombed helped produce the album), while still hinting at and incorporating some black metal riffs, sounds and imagery in the album sleeve and artwork. The band met Euronymous, who impressed them so much they decided to changed their sound. Soon afterward, Darkthrone adopted the aesthetic style that would come to represent the black metal scene, wearing corpsepaint and working under occult pseudonyms. At this point, bassist Dag Nilsen left the band (but still played, listed as "Session Bass", on their next album A Blaze in the Northern Sky). This album was strongly inspired by the works of Bathory and Celtic Frost. No longer using death metal vocal stylings, Darkthrone decided to change the way they sounded. Peaceville Records was originally skeptical about releasing the album due to Darkthrone's extreme diversion from the death metal style.
The band delved even deeper into the black metal sound with the their following album, Under a Funeral Moon, which has since established itself as a landmark for the genre as a whole. It was followed by their quintessential masterpiece Transilvanian Hunger, which is generally regarded as Darkthrone's finest work, although the band itself regards it as being a rather atypical Darkthrone record. All of these early black metal albums were characterised by raw sound, extremely low fidelity recording quality, and musical simplicity. Darkthrone remains a powerful force in the black metal genre, although they have experimented with their influences over the years.
Darkthrone received some criticism for a statement that they had intended to print on the Transilvanian Hunger album: "We would like to state that Transilvanian Hunger stands beyond any criticism. If any man should attempt to criticize this LP, he should be thoroughly patronized for his obviously Jewish behavior." Following pressure from Peaceville Records, Darkthrone wrote a formal letter of apology, and retracted the statement, although that the phrase "Norsk Arisk Black Metal" ("Norwegian Aryan Black Metal") remained on the pressing until its 2001 reissue certainly raises questions regarding the sincerity of the band's apology.
Darkthrone moved to the Moonfog label (ran by Satyr from Satyricon) for subsequent releases.
After the recording of their next album Panzerfaust (1995), Zephyrous (Ivar Enger) left the band, supposedly disappearing into misanthropy, although he did not perform on either Transilvanian Hunger or Panzerfaust. (The band states that Zephyrous's last musical contribution was Under A Funeral Moon).
Their next release, Total Death (1996), was recorded with lyrics from various Norweigan musicians of the time.
In 1997 Darkthrone released the Goatlord album. The Goatlord album was a rehearsal tape recorded between Soulside Journey and A Blaze In The Northern Sky which was scrapped after the band had changed its sound (although this album being unlike any other Darkthrone album in style or purpose, neither death metal or black metal, and a sound/music style that would only come to pass in many years time). Drummer Fenriz and Satyr (of Satyricon) added vocal tracks to the recording in 1994.
1999 saw the release of the album Ravishing Grimness, in which Darkthrone delved deeper into obvious Celtic Frost inspiration and even some punk influence. Many fans derided the album for its "clean production", a few even going so far as to claim the band "sold out".
Since 1999 Fenriz has also been recording with Eibon, a "supergroup" of sorts, with Satyr of Satyricon, Killjoy of Necrophagia and Phil Anselmo of Pantera, although their debut album seems destined to never be released.
In 2000 Plaguewielder came roaring back with the "necro" style production. Darkthrone were becoming comfortable with their "new" evolution and direction, one which would follow on into their next albums. The importance of holding on to the old ways and fans, too stubborn to evolve themselves, was, as always, the least of their worries.
After a long break Darkthrone released the album Hate Them in 2003. Going even further back to their "necro" roots and sound than the previous two, the album being a more repetitive and "straight up" release , once again influenced highly by Celtic Frost.
In 2004 they released Sardonic Wrath. Even beyond previous works this was considered the true come-back to the old form and would almost dictate the future style and progression of the band over the next release and singles.
In 2005, Darkthrone confirmed they had returned to Peaceville Records after leaving in 1994. They had also started up their own record label Tyrant Syndicate Productions, which will release their albums in the future (with Peaceville/Snapper Music distributing). To celebrate their return, Peaceville re-issued the Preparing For War CD Anthology covering their first era at Peaceville with a bonus CD of additional demos and a DVD of rare live performances. Peaceville has also re-released the four original recordings on their label with an added interview video on each explaining the recording process and their time during the period of these releases.
Darkthrone released their 12th album, The Cult Is Alive, early 2006. This was preceded by an EP titled Too Old, Too Cold which featured exclusive tracks (of particular note is a cover of "Love in a Void" by Siouxsie & the Banshees). Additionally, they filmed a video for Too Old, Too Cold which is included on the Special Edition CD of The Cult Is Alive. The album brings with it a punk aesthetic/style to the songs. This album was the first Darkthrone album to chart in Norway, debuting at number 11.
On November 23, 2006, Peaceville released a limited edition 7" EP titled Forebyggende Krig via their website only, with the "Too Old , Too Cold " album track "Forebyggende Krig" and a cover of The Testors song "Bad Attitude".
In 2007, guitarist/bassist/vocalist Nocturno Culto completed and released The Misanthrope, a DVD Movie/Documentary which includes various recordings of his own making from 2004-2005. Later that year, in July, Darkthrone released their next EP titled "NWOBHM (New Wave of Black Heavy Metal)". In September, they will release their 13th full length album called "F.O.A.D." (Fuck Off And Die).

Under A Funeral Moon - Darkthrone
-pjesma s istoimenog albuma
On the day of my final sacrifice
The chilling steel open my veins
Blood staines my skin
Silver chalice must be filled
Drinking the poisoned blood
I enter my shadowed coffin
Two goathorns in my hands
I raise my arms and close my eyes
To receive the infernal hails
From my brother in the land of the damned
The howling wind blows in the naked trees
Moonlit fields are glowing in the dark
Below me, the path to the cemetary
Where my spiritual brothers take me
They halt at the shadows of an oak
My nocturnal funeral commence
Lying in my blasphemous sleep
I am lowered down to the pit
A raven sings my last song
As the wolves howl their goodbyes
The funeral moon glows strongly now
For I am nearly there
This night of late october
The darkside open it's gate
Morbid souls wait for me
- For satanic conspiracy
Flowers of doom
Rising in bloom
You will see
Our immortality!

INTERVIEW SA DIMMU BORGIROM

MAYHEM
Mayhem (often called 'The True Mayhem') is a black metal band, formed in 1984[1] in Oslo, Norway. The band name is taken from the Venom song, Mayhem with Mercy.[2] Much controversy has followed the various murders, suicides and other forms of violence that surrounded the band in the early years. Mayhem is considered one of the most controversial bands in modern musical history, especially due to the vast number of urban legends and myths surrounding their early years, and the controversies have often overshadowed the music, especially in recent years due in part to the Internet and magazine articles.
Over time Mayhem has evolved through a variety of black metal styles, delving at times into areas of dark avant-garde industrial and electronica. Highly influential, the group is widely considered to be one of the cornerstones of the black metal movement.
In 1994, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas was released and formally dedicated to Euronymous. Its release had been delayed due to complaints filed by Euronymous' family, who had objected to the presence of bass parts played by Vikernes. Contrary to contemporary reports these were not re-recorded by Hellhammer and appear unblemished. At this point the band's history is much more based on fact, rather than mere urban legends, myths and tall tales.
By late 1995 Hellhammer had decided to reform the band with the help of new guitarist Blasphemer (Rune Erickson) and two previous Mayhem members - Maniac and Necrobutcher. The first release of this new lineup was a 1997 EP titled Wolf's Lair Abyss, and was followed by some live European shows. One of these took place in Milan, Italy, guest starring Attila Csihar, and was recorded for the Mediolanum Capta Est live album of that year. It has been noted by nearly all listeners that this lineup has been much more technical as well as adventurous and musically innovative. In 2000 the band's second full-length CD, Grand Declaration of War was released. Strongly influenced by progressive and avant-garde metal, the album was concept-based, dealing with themes of war and post-apocalyptic destruction. Maniac largely abandoned the traditional black metal rasp for dramatic spoken-word monologue, with most of the songs sequencing seamlessly into one another. Reaction to the album was polarized. Some criticised the album for its avant-garde and electronic elements, which they perceived as pretentious, and for Maniac's vocals, which they perceived as inferior to Dead's and Attila's; others saw it as a laudable attempt to recreate and redefine black metal, with critic Brian Russ of BNR Metal going so far as to call it "really the first cohesive work the band has ever done" and "a fitting culmination to their career thus far." In retrospect, the electronic elements of the album were often heavily overstated by its detractors, appearing notably in only a single track, "A Bloodsword and a Colder Sun."After a four year silence, Mayhem released Chimera in 2004. It showed a return to their earlier raw and brutal style, but with considerably better production values than earlier releases. Chimera still maintained a progressive edge, perhaps due to increasing input from Blasphemer. In 2004, Maniac was forced out of the band and Attila Csihar was reinstated as his replacement.
The band's fourth album, titled Ordo ad Chao (Latin for "Order to Chaos"), was released on April 16, 2007 (April 17 in the United States and Canada) on Season of Mist Records. The single, "Anti," can be heard for free on the band's official MySpace, and is the last of eight tracks on the album. Ordo ad Chao contains a much rawer sound than the rest of the band's recent work; the drums are not equalized and the mix is notably bass-heavy. Despite this, the album continues the band's experiments with unorthodox song structures, with "Illuminate Eliminate," at 9'44", being the band's second longest track to date (behind Grand Declaration of War’s "Completion in Science of Agony (Part I)").
The band was scheduled to perform a mini U.S. tour during the summer of 2007. The tour would have been the first for Mayhem in the U.S. with Attila on vocals. Mayhem unfortunately canceled the entire tour, citing Hellhammer's broken right arm as the reason for the cancellation.

Deconsecrate-pjesma je inače s novog Mayhemovog albuma, jeben je i zove se
Ordo Ad Chao
Telepathic illusion injected into mass pathology
Lies of all religions of priests
Versions of genesis
And non-existent prophets
A dry silhouette of dead god
Propelled by the
Damaged frontal lobes
The obtuse humans
Roam in somnambulism
Towards the deaf walls
Kneel and pray to nothingness there
As if the dead toll
Of bloodless massacre
Holy charisma as mind control shift
Psychic magnetic field
Endless emanation braindeads
Pierced by
Phalloid obelisks
No one not even there
Saviour had ever been resurrected
Abandoned, disposed, discarded
I order all symbols crumble
I order the consumption of all churches
