Prije par dana, dogodilo se čudo koje nisu ni sami tvorci očekivali. Naime sa Sveučilišta u Oregonu su objavili da je downloadana i 100 milijunta kopija Mozilla Firefoxa, jednog od najpopularnijih web preglednika. Vijest sama po sebi i nebi bila toliko značajna ali ako bi je stavili u kontekst kontriranja IE-u onda se dolazi značajnog uspjeha.Ne toliko uspjeha jednog open source web preglednika u odnosu na defaultni browser windowsa, nego na uspjeh autsajdera, ljudi koji su stvorili Firefox da bi pokazali da se može boriti i protiv takvih mastodonata kakvi su Microsoft i IE. Stvoren od grupe entuzijasta evo postaje sve popularniji i popularniji a da ne spominjem segment sigurnosti i ugodnog browsanja. I neka ga, daj Bože da doživi i 500 milijuna kopija samo da pokažu umišljenim glavama da se može i bez njih.
